Today I’m chatting about relationships and how to make the most of these amazing opportunities to grow.
It’s always so fascinating to me that you can put 2 people in a space and watch them trigger to deepest parts of each other. This can go one of 2 ways. Either they contract into blame, shame, fear, anger, etc. or they expand into higher and higher states of vibration with love, peace, joy, connection and bliss.
Most of my life I have camped out in the former of these 2 paths always resulting in pain and/or suffering on both of our parts. There was always fear, guilt, shame, control, manipulation on both sides and neither generally thought they were wrong or needed to change.
I am now experiencing the latter of the 2 paths with my beautiful life partner Kimmi. Of course there are triggers and tough days, there needs to be for growth, but with every challenge we both look at the parts within ourselves that are triggered.
We no longer think or say “Why do you have to do that?” or “Why did you say that?” But when we reach a more centred space we ask ourselves “Why did that trigger me?” And “What part of me do I need to let go of?”. Also when the trigger hits we support each other in re-finding the centre within us in a grounded and unconditional way. And we know that the next time the trigger will be less or gone completely. So each challenge not only brings us closer together but also allows us to evolve both individually and as a couple.
Every niggle or disagreement is now a blessing (even if it doesn’t seem that way at the time lol). This is surrender, this is healing.
I thank the universe for bringing me such an amazing human in this lifetime and giving me this opportunity to grow and help others do the same.
