@@86puffpuff86 cards had a great off-season although they should of drafted o line Kyler is too important to just hope he can outrun everyone either way the NFC west is fucking stacked
Michael Hession I’ve come to accept that the Steelers are merely biding their time out until Captain Fatfuck retires. His contract extension is an anchor around the organization and there really isn’t anything they can do right now. The guy they wanted in the 2nd round was gone, so they have no choice but to double down on the Passing offense by taking A project in Claypool. The Ravens can have the division in the meantime. Better win while you can. QB’s like Lamar have maybe 2-3 years of high level play at most. The Steelers at least brought in a QB coach to help Rudolph and Hodges.
@@EdmacZ Lamar led the league in touchdown passes and total QBR last year and he is only getting better as a passer, his running abilities you might be right about but he also is a very accurate thrower.
He's even wearing #88 like most of the Cowboys greatest receivers....Now, let's see how they fail to make the NFC Championship Game for the 25th year in a row. Last year is going to be tough to top in terms of their annual embarrassment but I believe they can humiliate themselves even further. No more excuses for Dak.
As a Ravens fan there is one thing I love every time we choke or do bad we get right back up in the draft and find talent again the only thing in our way is the Ravens themselves when they do well in the year they choke in the playoffs let’s just hope they don’t do it this year
We are the equal of the 1991 Chicago Bulls, a team that loses in the playoffs in heartbreaking fashion and goes straight to the workout room and gets good players in free agency.
So much for Herbert not living up to his potential. I am now going to follows trees money tree rules with QBs too. If he says they are bad I will draft them in every league. Not to mention Jordan brooks being a stud.
7:07, "Meet the fossilized remains of Gronk, he's been batter by injuries and was a shell of what he was in 2018, but this will apparently put Tampa over the top, when will people learn that New England's sloppy 2nd don't succeed outside the hive" Well Tree, that aged well didn't it?
Sorry tree, it looks like the Raiders weren’t being possessed by Al Davis’ corpse for the 2020 draft. Henry Ruggs and Damon Arnette out of the league in a single season.
I was gonna say that. When your best receiver (Deebo Samuel) is most well-known for getting hella yards by rushing off reverse plays, you know you're run heavy AF.
Harry Engel That would be painful for the Bengals fans, but at the end, a special tribute to the Greatest Bungul of All Time, Bengals vs Steelers, 2015, AFC Wild Card Round
Coming back and seeing that Tree talked about Herbert probably not being so good, made me chuckle a bit. Considering, he’s basically having the best season for a rookie QB, ever.
The most tragic thing to occur in this Draft was seeing FivePoints Vids have to stick a plunger on his head after the Giants drafted Andrew Thomas xD Derp Giants.
Still a little early from the 5 year mark, but I think enough time has passed to properly assess the draft picks from the 2020 draft. Plus, this is the year where the diamonds in the rough truly shine. Long comment ahead, you have been warned. Joe Burrow - Hit. Not really his fault that the Bengals couldn't get it done in Super Bowl 56, but him coming to Cincy has truly revived the Bengals. Now if only he can stay healthy. Chase Young - Meh. He is alright, but the now-Commanders just could not build around him, Sweat and Jonathan Allen to form a deadly defensive front. One random Pro Bowl to show, and he is now a Saint. Jeff Okudah - Miss. The only "good" Okudah has done was the Lions hitting the reset button with their front office, this time for the better. Okudah's problem was that he can never stay healthy, and one of the reasons players become busts is the lack of availability. Andrew Thomas - Hit. While FPV may have balked at the pick, Thomas has been the anchor of the Giants offensive line. Problem is he can't do it alone. Tua Tagovailoa - Controversial, but I say hit. While he ain't the "set the world on fire" type of guy like Burrow or Herbert, Tua has played well enough to be a mainstay in South Beach, even if you think he is massively overpaid. Justin Herbert - Hit. Herbert is the guy who finally shook the label off that Oregon QBs are automatic busts. Postseason success still to be determined, but Herbert has been solid under center. Derrick Brown - Hit. Problem is that the Panthers are unable to build anything despite drafting properly. Brown earned himself a payday recently, but it's still on the Panthers management to waste his prime years. Isaiah Simmons - Miss. Versatility means nothing if you are unable to properly develop. He seems to be on the right track as a Giant, but thus far, he has been a disappointment based on his draft position. CJ Henderson - Miss. The fact that the Jaguars gave up on their presumed heir to Jalen Ramsey is a damning statement in itself, and he fared no better in Carolina. He is a Texan now, and is nothing but depth, just like Okudah. Jedrick Wills - Hit. Say what you want about the incompetence of the Browns front office, but them revamping their offensive line is not one of them. Wills is a solid piece to that unit, now only if the Browns can draft and develop a QB ... Mekhi Becton - Miss. It's a bit harsh, but the fact that Becton can never stay healthy, on a Jets team that desperately needs O-line help, availability is a reason players are busts. Maybe seasoning in the Eagles can revive his career, but again, he needs to stay healthy. Henry Ruggs III - Miss. This is more infuriating in that his downfall was self-inflicted. Ruggs has the talents to be a WR, but threw it all away for one traffic accident resulting in the deaths of a woman and her dog. He will be behind bars for a long time, so there is no way he is coming back. What a shame ... Tristan Wirfs - Hit. There is always that pressure to block for TB12, but Wirfs has done exactly as advertised. Wirfs is currently the highest paid offensive lineman, so make that as you will. Javon Kinlaw - Meh. He has shown flashes, but injuries during crucial periods have prevented him from being a staple in the Niners' front seven. Kinlaw is a Jet, maybe for the best, given their new defensive identity. Jerry Jeudy - Meh. Another player who has shown flashes in the pan, but also shown serious mental errors as well. The Broncos being a mess certainly does not help, though Jeudy will hardly complain about the payday he received from the Browns despite his subpar production thus far. AJ Terrell - Hit. The Falcons got lucky after missing out on Okudah and Henderson. They picked up his fifth year option, which is something. He is more of a tackling machine than a ball hawk, though, so hopefully the Falcons can use him properly once they decide to pay him. CeeDee Lamb - Hit. There is always a lot of pressure for a Cowboys wideout wearing #88, but Lamb has lived up to his potential. Now the problem is how much are the Cowboys going to pay him to stick around. Austin Jackson - Meh. Not really his fault, since O-line picks are not exactly the flashy ones, but Jackson has not been a standout either. He's an OK piece, and that's about it. Damon Arnette - Miss. The Raiders have a penchant for the jailhouse this year. Arnette is a head case, for lack of a better term, and his play on the field does not justify using a 1st round pick on him. K'Lavon Chiasson - Miss. When a team in need of help on the edge declines your fifth-year option, you know it's a bad outlook. The Jaguars are lucky Josh Hines-Allen has taken their payout to stay as their main edge rusher. Jalen Reagor - Meh. He is serviceable, but the Eagles are definitely kicking themselves for not picking the next guy. At least they have AJ Brown to make up for it? Justin Jefferson - Hit. The Vikings offense revolves around him, and while there were fears he may choose to reunite with Burrow and Chase in Cincy (fellow LSU alumni), the Vikings decide to pay Jefferson his worth. He is the highest paid non-QB offensive player for a good reason. Kenneth Murray - Meh. He has production, but not enough for the Chargers to pick up his fifth year option. Taking middle linebackers this high is always a risk, and Murray continues to buck this trend. Cesar Ruiz - Meh. The only reason the Saints keep him around is cause they NEED offensive line help to protect their new investment in Derek Carr. Ruiz is OK, but that is about it. Brandon Aiyuk - Hit. He probably gets traded since this comment is made, but Aiyuk has been solid as a receiving option. However, Aiyuk has never been able to dethrone Deebo Samuel as the #1 option, hence why he wants out. Jordan Love - Hit. Despite the derision about a "luxury" pick when the Packers had Aaron Rodgers under center, hindsight is 20/20. Giving your QB time to season was the right call, and the Packers have their guy under center since the departure of Rodgers. Jordyn Brooks - Miss. If predicting the development of middle linebackers was easy, guys like Fred Warner and Shaquille Leonard would have been first rounders. Brooks has not played well enough despite given ample opportunities to start, and is now in the Dolphins as a rotational player. Patrick Queen - Hit. Him and Roquan Smith have formed a scary tackling tandem, but questions remain whether if he was uplifted by Smith or not. Him going to the Steelers will definitely give this answer, as he joins a team in desperate need of middle linebacker help. Isaiah Wilson - Miss. Wilson is THE definition of a modern day draft bust. It's a bad look when you are the player who only played 4 games before the team that drafted you goes "OK, I'm done, you're out". His attitude certainly has not done himself any favors, based on his brief stints on the Dolphins and Giants. Noah Igbinoghene - Miss. He is alright on special teams, but this is not what you want from someone taken in the first round. More damning to the Dolphins is that Jaylon Johnson and Trevon Diggs were still on the board if they wanted defensive backs; both Johnson and Diggs are Pro Bowlers. Jeff Gladney (RIP) - Miss. I need to stress that this is due to his career, not his personal life. As a Viking, he did not do much production, and we will never know his potential after losing his life in a car accident. Clyde Edwards-Helaire - Meh. The Chiefs just won the Super Bowl, so this was a luxury pick. While CEH had his fifth year option declined and was still brought back, imagine how much damage the Chiefs could have done if they drafted Jonathan Taylor (picked in the 2nd round by the Colts, 41st overall) instead.
Alex Frank I think Herbert’s going to avoid the Oregon QB Curse. Harrington and Mariota, were both extremely successful in college, but had external factors completely fuck them. Harrington’s OL just simply decided that they didn’t like him, and have admitted to stepping aside so he’d get crushed. He tried to make amends for some transgression he claims he doesn’t know he made, and couldn’t get them to accept him. Mariota had constant coaching changes, so he could never become the master of a new system, in time to use it, because that coach was out the door. Herbert’s already been very successful, with the adversity of multiple coaching changes, and many undersized, fragile receivers that kept getting hurt. I think he’s already weathered the curse. Oregon players also seem to do quite well in California, most notably being names like Arik Armstead, DeForest Buckner, and Dan Fouts, who came in under similar circumstances. New QB after a known face left, into a new stadium. Herbert’s also going to be able to learn the ropes under Tyrod Taylor, and the LAC coaching staff, so he can maximize his potential. I don’t know though. I’m going to give him a 50/50 chance of panning out,
@@a-cell4564 Mariota may still come back Tannehill style if something happens to Derek Carr in Las Vegas. I think the Raiders system would work well for Mariota's skillset, and being under Jon Gruden, if nothing else, is more stable than the Titans organization.
The Shining Domino again, coaching carousel. He wasn’t on the same playbook every year, and Mario has some very conservative play calling, Where as taggart loved high-flying shootouts.
I remember watching Clyde Edwards-Helaire in high school pick apart my high school's defense each year, I was in the band and our schools are rivals. Wild that me telling people "he might be perform on Sundays" is actually coming true.
I hear you, man. It's weird for Arizona to look like they're going to be in playoff form after only two years out. That being said, rooting for you guys outside of our game against each other. ;)
I'm a Colts fan, but I always cheer for the Bills too. I like Sean McDermott and that defense. If Allen can take another step forward this year, they'll be contenders
Same goes for being a Chiefs fan. Sure they have had nothing but success during the Reid era but it always felt that they would never get over the hump.
@@jmitchtheman When I had heard they were down 21-0 against the Texans, I was calling for Reid's head. 10 minutes later and I quickly realized that BoB sucks and it was all in the plan.
Kevin Lashlee Well, We do have Portland.... but on a more serious note, he appears to have succeeded in the face of the UO curse earlier than anticipated. He’s already passed the Coaching Carousel, which Mariota could not. He hasn’t dealt with the OL trials yet, but we’ll see.
joanne chon I’m not comparing rings. Oregon’s gotten fucked by the officials time and time again, and yet was still the most dominant team in the PAC-10/12 for years. We’re finally going to start making headway for championships, and this year we’ve got a shot. And besides, if we’re comparing QB rings in the NFL, well Purdue has more QB’s with rings. I wasn’t going to compare Oregon players to Alabama players, but, here I am discussing it with someone who misspelled none. Besides, Uncle Phil sponsors Bama just the same, but we’re just going to ignore that aren’t we! Only players get the sponsorship deals. Nike isn’t paying the teams, they have a contract with the whole league for uniforms, if you’ve been paying attention.
And then the bungals draft a WR instead of a lineman in the first round bc that's what burrow wants. I guess he also wants a permanent residency in the Cincinnati hospital
Watching this again in February 2023 after Cincinnati has been to a Superbowl and AFC Championship game I think that Burrow guy might have actually been good and NOT just a product of playing for LSU.

"QB's from Oregon are like communism, their past failures weren't real quarterbacks, but THIS TIME, it will work." Best line in the video, and oh so true.
Love it! And I'm an Oregon fan. The thing is, they were saying that his completion % still wasn't great even though Oregon ran a run heavy offense. QB's in those types of offenses usually have an easier time with decision making. As far as Oregon QB's go, I did think Mariotta would be better. I just think that Tennessee messed him up by trying to just plug him into their system, instead of building their offense around his skillset.
MetallicaRules IDK. I think Herbert’s weathered the UOQB curse. Harrington and Mariota had god awful situations, Harrington’s being that the OL just didn’t like him, and several members admitted to getting out of the DL’s way so he’d get crushed. Harrington apparently tried to rectify the situation, but to no avail. Mariota had extreme coaching changes, so he could never master a new system before that coach was out the door. No QB could be successful under those conditions. Herbert’s already dealt with the Coaching Carousel, and had a new addition to the lineup, fragile, undersized receivers. Hasn’t dealt with line troubles though. He’s in a position to be successful though, looking like a second Dan Fouts. Similar circumstances too. We’ll see what happens. He’s got room to grow, so it won’t likely be a case of icarus syndrome. Ducks seem to do really well in CA too. Arik Armstead, DeForest Buckner, well, Dan Fouts, etc. He’s got good chances, we’ll just have to see.
Tree on Isaiah Wilson: "He's either gonna be a top flight tackle in the making or a guy that's gonna be out of the league in a few years." Well. You weren't wrong.
@Harry Engel Agholor is a pretty good route runner and is quite athletic, good size too. He has a notoriously bad drops issue tho, which actually costed the eagles multiple games last year. So not the best comparison.
Well, speculation.. is that Reager had bad QB play that resulted in a high drop ratio. However, yeah Jefferson was a lot better... he was a 1st rounder.. while Reager was in the 2nd
Eagles: We have a Top 10 franchise QB in the NFL and we need to fill all the holes on the roster starting with our second round pick! So many options....linebacker, safety, corner, offensive line, defensive end, maybe even another wide receiver. Howie Roseman: Nah. Let's draft a QB gadget player that we can use three times a game instead.

He is fan of our most hated rival. We already know that he wants the Steelers at the top of the division. NOT GONNA HAPPEN!
Michael Hession
I’ve come to accept that the Steelers are merely biding their time out until Captain Fatfuck retires.

While CEH had his fifth year option declined and was still brought back, imagine how much damage the Chiefs could have done if they drafted Jonathan Taylor (picked in the 2nd round by the Colts, 41st overall) instead.
i guess we’ll see what UT thinks next june
"Oh, you had Dan Fouts?"
Is that good or bad for me and the other 9 Charger fans?
I’m going to give him a 50/50 chance of panning out,
Something something Fuck you Spanos
@@a-cell4564 Mariota may still come back Tannehill style if something happens to Derek Carr in Las Vegas. I think the Raiders system would work well for Mariota's skillset, and being under Jon Gruden, if nothing else, is more stable than the Titans organization.

joanne chon I’m not comparing rings. "QB's from Oregon are like communism, their past failures weren't real quarterbacks, but THIS TIME, it will work."
Best line in the video, and oh so true.
