      Yes, sublimated the laminate, although this wall clock process it’s much easier to either use sticker, printable vinyl or photo paper would be my recommendation, at the time though I was trying a lot of different items with laminate sheets lol

    Great video! I was wondering whether this would work with the same adhesive material that you used to make the tumbler? Seems like that would make it lie flat and reduce the peeling up issue...Just a though

    • @TouchofClassCreations
      @TouchofClassCreations  3 года назад

      Thank you again!! Yes, definitely would work with the vinyl and laminate as well, I’ve seen people also use photo paper and just glue it in, the problem with the card stock was the heated laminate caused it to want to curl quite a bit. I have made them several different ways, I should do videos of the multiple ways I do them, but too many videos I want to make and too little time, lol!! But yes the vinyl and laminate works well with this, and the vinyl def stays put!

  • @dawnweck

    Hi, another awesome video. In the beginning after you added the laminate layer I noticed you were having difficulty peeling off the paper backing. If you used that gold colored teflon mat that you have as your base rather than the paper would that eliminate the peeling issue? Not sure if that would work or not, but it's just a thought. Thx for sharing your know how with us. I appreciate it.

    • @elizabethstratton6173
      @elizabethstratton6173 2 года назад

      Yes, the teflon sheet does work and is the best thing to put above and below your sublimation on paper so it won't stick. Normally you use butcher paper for sublimation but this technique is an exception to that rule.

    How do you keep from getting bubbles when putting it on ceramic tile.

    • @TouchofClassCreations
      @TouchofClassCreations  3 года назад

      I have not personally done ceramic tiles, but I would assume it has to do with time and temp, try 385 for 20 seconds to start, if your using thermal laminate that’s where I’d start

    • @TouchofClassCreations
      @TouchofClassCreations  3 года назад

      It could, as long as it stays adhered once u press the image to it, I have never tried the self adhesive, I’ve only used thermal, I have heard others say the self adhesive laminate peels, but I have not tried it myself so can’t say for sure.

    Can you do this same thing using the Cricut Maker, that's what I just bought and haven't done anything with it yet.

      @TouchofClassCreations  3 года назад

      I have not tried this with Cricut maker, my wife has one, and all of the other things I’ve done u can do with Cricut, so I don’t see why this wouldn’t work. Cricut can pretty much do all same as cameo, just think they have a little smaller cut dimensions or something, or certain Cricut machines do, yours is a maker like my wife’s and I believe they do all way up to 12x24

    • @sworley1956
      @sworley1956 3 года назад

      The issue with cricut is that you cannot do the size needed. Thats the draw back

    • @TouchofClassCreations
      @TouchofClassCreations  3 года назад

      @@sworley1956 I think if you do this without print and cut, just cut the card stock or vinyl with your Cricut, and then hand cut your sub image, or better yet just tape the card stock after laminate applied to the sub image and you don’t need to cut, or hand cut the sub image, which I do anyhow even with silhouette, but it’s only less than 8”, I don’t see why your machine would not cut if you have a 12” mat
