@@TouchofClassCreations okay will take a look
This isn't htv? I never done this before
@@Jenscustomdesigns this is using regular vinyl, not htv, and using laminate sheets to sublimate into, the video explains it all, but yes you are correct this is not htv it is regular oracal 651, but you could use cricut vinyl or any regular vinyl
LOVE the family noise! That’s real life creativity for most of us watching you 😂

Can I do the same procedure for acrylic?
The idea should work in theory because the sublimation is going into the vinyl, the only issue would be the acrylic holding up to the heat for the length of time, I do not work with acrylic so do not know if it would soften being under the heat press for couple minutes at 350+ degrees?
WOW Turn out awesome, great job Thank you for sharing the video and the great tips!!! 😊
No problem, thank you for watching and supporting🙏
@@TouchofClassCreations You are very welcome! ☺
Cool! Thank you!!
What temperature in the oven? Do you have to use a convection oven?
In an oven I would cook at least at 365, in my oven I do at 400 degrees to burn the image off, and I do use a convection oven, usually about 40 min or so. Here is a link to a video I did using oven STOP THROWING AWAY YOUR SUBLIMATED TUMBLER MISTAKES! How to Resublimate a tumbler #reuseoldtumblers ruclips.net/video/76p8ntxaApU/видео.html
Just jump to 3.00 if you want to miss all the pointless waffle about ovens and where to buy a heat gun. Three minutes before he actually does anything useful. Oh, and save some time, skip to the end, it doesn't work.
The process does work, albeit not as good as cooking images off in an oven, however no method will completely burn a sublimated image off ( that I have found at least) and the pointless waffle is on all my videos, (so if u don’t like to hear me talk u should skip my videos entirely)I like to just aimlessly talk to those that will listen… lol!! 😂 thanks for watching and for your feedback!!
You really did a great job here. Thank you so much for showing us that mistakes happen and now others can learn from them. You are the first person I see that heats the glass first to get out the moisture from the vinyl. thank you for this. I wish I saw this video first.
Not a problem!! You are welcome!! Thank you for watching and your kind words! Glad to help!!
Saying what tape exactly , times and temps would be useful ,
If u watch around the 0:52 mark I do say the time and temp that I used. And if u read the video description there is a link to the exact tape I used. Thanks for watching!! Hope this helps!
Is the cup microwavable if so. Can you still microwave with the sticker made for the cup?
No, unfortunately these are plastic cups, not microwaveable and with the added vinyl would not be dishwasher safe either
How do you get them to stay on the cups. I tried what you did but they peel off around the edges.
The best way I have found to keep them from peeling is hand wash and not leave sitting in sink or liquid for any period of time, these are best used for like kids parties and things of that nature in my opinion
wOW. Can I do this same technique for coffee mug from dollar tree?
I have never tried with a coffee mug, I don’t know that the laminate would stick, would probably just be better off sublimating coffee mugs, but in theory I don’t see why you couldn’t do this on a coffee mug
Hey there, watched most of your tutorials and I've learned a lot. Question: Why is my Uninet Icolor 560 final transfer sheet print jobs showing white spotting's?
Was there a lot of fumes?
It wasn’t too bad, although I still think cooking the image off in an oven is the easiest if u have a little oven or tumbler press available. If u are sensitive to fumes I would wear a mask or do in a well ventilated area still
Thank you sir,I made my first print.hoooray!
Awesome!! Hope it came out well, this printer is great and allows a lot of diversity in different mediums u can out prints on
Can you cook it in a heat press?
I have not tried it in a mug press, only in the oven and with a heat gun, but I’d imagine if you tried it should work, let me know if u try it!
Thanks for your video. I’ve done many of these and find that my images bleed over time. Wondering if you’ve had this issue or if any of your subscribers have?
Thank you so much for watching! Yes, I do find that after about 2 or 3 years the image is not quite as sharp, seems like it bleeds back to the bottom side of the cutting glass
Thank you so much for sharing! I found this vid about 18 months ago and I have to say you are the FIRST to share this idea on RUclips yet no one gives you credit. There are craft and commercial channels who are using your technique but do not credit you (shame on them). I just want to say you deserve the credit! thanks again.
Thank you, I appreciate it, unfortunately in this digital age a lot of things like that can’t be protected, or at least without considerable $$, but I surely appreciate u watching and commenting, as always feel free to share! Thank you🥰🥰
Family first - lol just wanted to be heard lol - does it have to be Orval? Can it just be permanent vinyl? Nice job - so glad you left the struggle in & not make it look easy- Tyvm for this awesome share
Lol, thank you for watching and commenting. No any vinyl should work, I just prefer oracal myself, but any permanent vinyl should work!
Where did you get the base to add the ice etc to ? What size are the magnets?
Here is a link to where u can order the mild to make the base with epoxy, or search for these already made. We used to make them ourselves but unfortunately do not have the time anymore. purchase a mold from Amazon ( amzn.to/3kMAXQL ) And here is a link to the magnets
here is a link to the magnets we use. amzn.to/3h0KceA
I have had my printer for over a year now, you just helped me with one of the most simplest steps that was the hardest for me to figure out on my own. This video is well done 👍🏾
Awesome, thank u very much for watching!! 🙏
I know this is nothing to do with the video but can you tell me where you got that printer stand I need that! Thanks for making this video great info!
It came in a set with a matching desk from big lots a few years ago
Thank you!
Thank you for watching!!
Thanks for the video, was very helpful. have a question. I heard the thickness of the paper makes a difference to the quality of the print. what thickness do you use to do your printing on , for the fleece.. Thanks
The thicker paper does allow for a little more ink saturation, however I usually use whatever paper I have, I use koala or Tex print r, but the main difference I find in paper is when it doesn’t dry fast it can smear on my tumblers, haven’t had much issue or notice difference on fabrics
So are you gonna wear all those shirts? Or are you gonna sell them or make a product with them
I have made a few shirts for myself with them, however most of them will be for the business
Hi, quick question, can these balloons be safely shipped ,Full?
We have never actually shipped one, so I am not sure, I would imagine u could but would need to be packaged very carefully. Idk if I would try though, I’ve busted them just moving them in the car lol
Thanks for sharing
No problem, thank you for watching
r u using vinyl sticker paper im sure u said
This is sublimating onto clear laminate sheet pressed onto white vinyl….
I would like to know how it help up. I have ones done this way that are now all fading
The ones with pics look more faded than the ines with graphics, I was just looking at that same one with my kids on it the other day and wondering if I reheat it, if the ink would ouch back again, I may try it, and will update if I do….. but yes after 3 years it is a bit faded, can still see the pic ok, but def faded
This was awesome...your good 💩 funny and also helpful....thank you
Lmao, thank you, I appreciate it, and thank you for watching!!
How close are you holding that gun to tumbler?
Probably should hold 10-12 inches out, I might have been a little closer😜
Can I use a toaster oven just to bake off?
I am sure any oven for about 40-45 min at 400 will bake it off, just make sure u don’t cook in oven after, sublimation gasses can be toxic
Can I do this to a mug too??
Yes, this will also work for sublimation mugs
One of the most helpful videos ive seen ❤really appreciate it you❤ definitely need the tiny mishaps to help learn how to fix them when we run into them ❤ definitely helps people not be afraid to make mistakes and keep trying. And the adjusting temperature 😅 yes! Not all machines are alike find your favorite whatever worksfor you .🎉
Thank you very much, really appreciate the kind words, yes, the mistakes are the biggest lessons in life, especially in this business, all the tiny little mishaps are what makes us get better!!
Thank you 😊 💓
Your welcome, and thank u for watching!!

When I use the oracle white 651 my background looks white. How is yours transparent?
That must have been an optical illusion or camera trick, I had to go back and rewatch as this was a couple years ago, the background is actually green in that design, I believe it just looked kinda transparent by the camera angle, def a green background though, u could use clear oracal, but unless u have a white toner printer anywhere there would be white will be clear
Is there a THISNEW tutorial showing how to go through the entire process ?
I got most of my info when I started through RUclips videos, I believed I watched a russian guys video and figured it out from there, my apologies but I haven’t been able to pump out near as many videos as planned
I’m trying to print but it keeps saying Queue Running total:1 holding 1
Make sure in the queue is set to either usb or wireless, whichever your using, better to use usb, and make sure your design fits within the allotted paper size you have selected. I’ve had that happen before either when queue was wrong or the file was bigger than the page and would not print, check the white toner support group on facebook
I can’t get mine to print out. Thanks for your video and time. I’m having trouble getting my image to print. Nothing happens
Hey Ron, sorry to hear that, and sorry I’m so late responding, have u figured out or got yours to print? Lmk!
What are the names of the texts you used? This is great! You have great videos! TY
Thank you very much, and thank u for watching!! I am sorry but that was a combination of several different fonts, and although the design is saved I am not entirely certain which exact of each font was used. It was done a few years ago, and pretty sure that was a creative fabrica or one of the many packs I used design
Where do I find the molds?
I apologize, we did stop making the molds for these, however if you search Etsy for fake ice tumbler toppers u should find what u are looking for
Hi there! I wanted to ask how the cup held up under water/dishwasher. Did you seal it with anything? Thanks for posting. Following from Atlanta.
Hey there, thanks for watching and supporting us!! I recommend hand washing the cups unless you seal them, they held up good under hand washing, I did not seal them myself but a lot of others have told me they sealed and held up good
I had to chuckle. I am a stained glass artist and whenever I would do something stupid and get frustrated, I would break my glass. It didn’t take me long to learn to walk away! That glass is expensive!
Lol, yes, that was a rough day there!! Luckily I don’t mess with glass too much, but I can imagine and I have def learned walk away 20 min and come back anytime I’m frustrated, seems older I get less it takes😂😂
Where or how I can get the template
Thank you for watching and there should be a link to the template in the description, or in our about page here on RUclips, we are touchoclasscreations on etsy
I absolutely appreciate you showing the trial and error, raw learning experience with the process in sublimation versus editing it out 🙏❤️🙌💯 I'm still new to sublimation and it's the small things that end up being HUGE factors that can change the outcome. THANK YOU!!! 🙏❤️💯🙌
Not a problem at all, we were all there at some point, I wish I could put all my videos completely unedited but some are just too long, but I always try to show mistakes to maybe help others avoid them!! Thank you for watching us, let me know if we can ever help!!
Do you like the machine? It looks so easy.
Yes the machine is great, and we did really good the first couple events. Haven’t had the opportunity to use much since then but only because of life factors… the machine itself is very easy to use
