Thank you, have done many since with mixed results. Easier as u go on! You will do great, have patience, and remember if u mess up the tumbler is not wasted!!
Well, as u can see here it wasn’t so bad, and if u see my other tumbler video, which was the 2nd/3rd tumbler, you’ll see even if u mess up u can still salvage it, and thank you for watching!!
Is that glitter as the shiney part or just printed that way? If it is glitter, can you show how you done that part on the print please? I know a printer can't print glitter I just would like an idea of how you done it if possible
In my case, I chose brown by mistake, as u can see the blacks were clearly black, but if your blacks are coming out brown it is possibly temp related, possible reduce temp slightly, my temp was between 350 and 375 , went up and down a little from opening door, and probably cooked for 7 total minutes. But in general if black is coming out brown I would reduce temp a little
It turned brown for multiple reasons. First, you should be running the oven at 400. For a tumbler, guessing that you are using a 1000 watt oven, it should never be in longer than 3 minutes. Toaster ovens will never do as well as a convection oven. You need the air movement to distribute the heat evenly.
I used that wrap because I didn't want to use the shrink wrap and didn't like it. I ended up having to put my tumbler in the oven again for 40 min, yes 40 min so it could go to a light white color again so I could redo my tumbler that had a white film down the middle from that wrap. I was not impressed with the wrap idea. Stick with the shrink wrap method.
Wow, that sucks that happened to you. Other than the one area I thought it was great, I didn’t get a film or residue, really think I just didn’t have my seam taped enough, or seam shoulda been on the inside, in any event, for the $$ I paid for the silicone wrap I’ll def give it another shot or two. But thanks for the info and I’ll keep that in mind should I continue to have problems!
@@pamilarowe I’ve heard that u can, that was my first one I tried and still haven’t gotten a chance to try another yet. But try to search because I’m pretty sure I saw in a sub group that u can
@@pamilarowe so I’ve read to bake the tumbler in the oven for 40 min at 400 uncovered and unwrapped, and will severely lighten the image (basically cook off most of the color) , after u can sub again as long as the image is darker, contact me through Etsy and I can show u pics, but I just read a FB post that said that and showed before and after pics
Love the tumbler .
