    I absolutely appreciate you showing the trial and error, raw learning experience with the process in sublimation versus editing it out 🙏❤️🙌💯 I'm still new to sublimation and it's the small things that end up being HUGE factors that can change the outcome. THANK YOU!!! 🙏❤️💯🙌

    Thanks for the video, was very helpful. have a question. I heard the thickness of the paper makes a difference to the quality of the print. what thickness do you use to do your printing on , for the fleece.. Thanks

    • @TouchofClassCreations
      @TouchofClassCreations  Год назад

      The thicker paper does allow for a little more ink saturation, however I usually use whatever paper I have, I use koala or Tex print r, but the main difference I find in paper is when it doesn’t dry fast it can smear on my tumblers, haven’t had much issue or notice difference on fabrics

    Nice video luv. One suggestion....never use teflon sheets while sublimating unless you put in middle of Tshirt to prevent design from soaking through to opposite side or back of glitter HTV to prevent premature vinyl activation. Your first press would have been successful with blowout paper/butcher paper. Teflon restricts heat! SAMS Club is the Best Buy for butcher paper.

    • @TouchofClassCreations
      @TouchofClassCreations  3 года назад +1

      Thank you, Yes, I believe I had butcher paper and the Teflon, maybe forgot the parchment/butcher paper, but was using both in an attempt to lessen the heat on the fleece blanket, I always worry about scorching them, thanks for the heads up though, I will check Sams for parchment paper

    Great video! Question, what are your sizes used to create the picture to print? I use silhouette software with this same print design you are doing too in this video. When it print it was too small for the 60x50 blanket I used. Thank you!

    • @TouchofClassCreations
      @TouchofClassCreations  2 года назад

      Thank you! Unfortunately I have the same problem. The maximum size I can currently sublimate is 8.5x11, and it’s not really even that. In any event, you can either put multiple designs and spread them out or pattern them, to cover the blanket, or a large print separated into several smaller pieces.

    Thank you fir the video. I was wondering about fleece as I was under the impression you could not iron it. My hint to you is to use butcher paper instead of the parchment paper . Much more cost effective and it takes moisture out of the material. You can get it at a sams club I’ve been told. I buy it on Amazon. Check it out .

    • @TouchofClassCreations
      @TouchofClassCreations  2 года назад +1

      No problem Tony, thank you for watching again!! It is a Heat Press Nation Signature series 15x15 with sure pressure. They do consume a bit of electricity, not enough to be too noticeable unless you are running it constantly. I usually prepare everything and then do all my pressing at one time so it doesn’t have to be on for too long. I have not actually compared electric numbers to know for sure though! I wouldn’t worry about the cost of running it though!! Hope that helps! Thanks again!!

    ....also when using Teflon sheets be very careful you run the risk of transferring unwanted designs to your project as it is difficult to see what the sheet has captured. I also use teflon in sublimation on the back of my magnets. In sublimation you should only use teflon where you don’t want the design.

    • @TouchofClassCreations
      @TouchofClassCreations  3 года назад +1

      Yes, sometimes I use Teflon for other sublimation, but always have the butcher paper over the sub to protect from ink transfer to Teflon sheet

    Can you do this with a home iron

    • @TouchofClassCreations
      @TouchofClassCreations  3 года назад

      I am not too sure, the key with sublimation is temperature, so the iron would need to get up to close to 400 degrees, minimum I would say is 370ish, so if it will get that hot may be possible, if not Cricut makes the easy press which is an affordable alternative to a heat press
