Something worth noting from the author's "about me" section: "I'm also gay and a dude, if that's something you care about. Came out really late in life, so that factors in to my writing quite a bit." I only mention this because it seems possible that Wade was potentially romantically interested in Theo, but never actually acknowledged it, thus feeding into his self hate. I assume that's why Wade focused a lot on Theo as his brain went into overdrive and why he just wanted Theo to hug him, despite the two of them seeming to barely know each other.
Yeah I got that interpretation as well when it’s revealed Theo was just someone he was “interested in” during university And since the sco seems to work off of wades insecurities that could factor into why he thought about Theo during the logs
I know this is late and unnecessary, but as I return to this it makes me genuinely sad that Wade might've had to live with so much guilt and denial. Let's say he was too afraid to take care of the situation with Theo, or let him know somehow because he didn't think he had any worth. He doubted himself so much that he thought he was unworthy and not good enough for somebody like him. In Wade's own eyes he was a failure and Theo was a successful person that he would only be a burden to, he hated himself for never doing anything right and probably felt bad for never reaching out to him in the end as well. Wade could be like the person who struggled with their studies all because of their emotions and thoughts, they're intelligent and have potential (as supposedly stated by Dr. Mark) but can't use it to excell due to their self-doubt. Even how he reacted in a childish, offensive of aggressive manner at times shows that he wasn't ever or often in a stable position mentally, though those documents were written in that 500 millisecond death-dream it is very likely for them to still have a lot of meaning. While on about this degradation of the brain, I'd like to point out the fact that at one point in the entries he began referencing things and experiences from his childhood. Maybe a time more peaceful than his current stage in life, that may be a reason that near the end his brain grasped onto the only pleasant memories or the only ones left. I do think that he would've found himself in quite a childish state when writing that, though he didn't have time for finding anything as we know. `In conclusion, all Wade needed was a hug from his crush and to be told that he had value.` Side-Note: I'm also totally making a ship out of this, I'm sorry I just had to. The first time reading this article I immediately got that impression about Wade, too. It's a painfully relatable situation, unfortunately. Pretty sure the discussion thread on the site has someone directly ask if the thing with Theo was related to unresolved romantic feelings, which the author confirmed.
I hardly think they would be an authority on whats cool and up to date, given that despite the group's name, the members have thus far proven to be a bunch of depressed and angry stoners with, to put politely, less than stellar academic records. I don't even know why the Foundation bothers with them, since the most interesting things they've ever done are getting a scientist to make a portal "like on Rick and Morty, so I don't have to walk all the way to the store to get Mt Dew" and trying make knockoff Little Misters.
I didn’t even get the whole “constantly watching eyes” symbolism until I saw this video and saw that the nickname is “in the yes of the beholder”. I’m dumb. Also, reading this SCP, especially the early bits, gave me so much anxiety thinking about how many times I’ve been in Wade’s exact position. Like you read your stuff and you know it sucks but you just want to be done with it like uhhhh. Edit: I also think it’s important to point out how, despite Wade thinking he was useless, it was the documentation of his own experiences that allowed the Foundation to prevent 85 percent of the would-be casualties caused by the SCP, as well as the classification of the SCP at all.
Slight correction: Dr. Young submitted the final entry for 4205 six years after Dalitz died. Dalitz observed 4205 on December 11, 1992, and Young submitted the report on December 11, 1998. By the way, I have personally used “dope” as an adjective a few times.

Your external narrative on the SCP's is what really makes these videos work. I've tried listening to other channels, but simply regurgitating whats on the wiki makes for a tedious listen sometimes.
Yet another great SCP summary. You have the knack for delving into how the individual SCP or researchers perceive the nuts and bolts of the anomalous nature of the subject, and what kinds of precautions (if any are possible) should be taken to minimize the danger involved with the SCP. Keep it up! You've earned a very loyal following for treating your viewers like actual thinking, mostly rational human beings, capable of arriving at their own conclusions. Good work man!
This article left a bit of a loose end because of the unaddressed spacial or temporal anomalies associated with the established anomalous effect. Its understood that it kills you by sending your brain into overdrive over a few milliseconds, but how does that translate into a computer terminal with accessible information? My conclusion is that the anomalous effect manifest as a field encompassing an unknown area, but at least the immediate surroundings of the subject. Otherwise, the heat generated from extended typing in a millisecond would cause the keyboard to combust from friction.
23:16 oh.....my.....gawd..... 👀‼️ those kinds of touches to these videos are what makes them such premium content. including the eyes sent the creepiness factor through the roof!!! I didn't turn on my nightlight... YOU did! 😱🤯😤💡
“Another confirmation that this is occurring in the 90s, as one has used ‘dope’ as an adjective in multiple decades” Dude this guy is -dope- hallarious
Love your videos man, they're the best! But if I could give you an advice: Could you please mention the guys who work on the music as you do the guys who work in the art. It's simple, the list of full names is on the description of their videos. Please if you would do this for them, they work so hard and deserve all the recognition they can get.
EpicAlien 454 Well, yes. But it is only a link to one of their videos, plus they’re a music label not just one artist. I think it’s worth it to credit each one of them for their individual work and to not just give a reference to a mix.
This reminded me of a jock my father told me it translates to something like "A man driving a car in the middle of the night gets a flat tire. He walks out of the car and notices that he didn't have a car jack. He curses and sees a light in the distance. He thinks "oh maybe that's a house and someone could have a car jack", he starts to walk to the house and says "shit, it's really late, they will hate me", but keeps walking, some more meters he thinks "they must be sleeping, I'm going to annoy them, and they will not allow me to use the car jack", and keep walking, some meters away from the door he thinks "fuck, they are sleeping I'm gonna wake them up, they are gonna beat my ass whit the car jack", knoks the door, a man show up and the driver says "shovel your car jack up your ass" and leaves." So self doubt it's a bitch.
Gotta be honest, was listening to this while doing dishes and my heart nearly jumped out of my chest when my Dad opened the front door; wasn't a surprise visit or anything, and I only heard him, didn't yet see him. Amazing how investing these videos can get XP
I think all of us are wondering the same. I gotta believe that the eyes are part of some other scp, or that the eyes told him about what they do too people, or how maybe the eyes are Wayde's own mental reflection of himself and that by not telling the reader he is leaving the reader with the same idea that the eyes told him which was that he is part of the eyes somehow. I don't know these are all theories. But It leaves one wanting more which is the whole point.
i love these scp that have special formats. anyone who hasnt read the scp themselves needs to pause the video and check out the entire thing before they watch this, its way too good not to experience for yourself

this is one of my favourite SCPs, the twist and the entire idea of the SCP is honestly amazing and I'm so glad I was alive to hear you talk about it.
I just read this article, and you made a video about it. Perfection
I been looking for this entry for months... Hands down my favorite
This is the dopest video i've seen today
This is the dopest comment
@@densorapuma151 This is the dopest reply
This article hit me like a punch in the gut when I first read it.
Video brought a lot of those feelings back. Damn.
"probably get demoted to an unpaid intern..."
So D-Class? 😂
4205- "The eyes are the window to the soul. And looks can kill."
Me using my cellphone: (moves the cellphone closer to my face so I can see the terminal)
*eyes appear in the darkness*
Me: AH GOD DAMN IT WTFFFF
I saw the calendar on the wall at 7:37, and thought this was a recent video. Nope. Just living in the future.
So glad you made this video, this has been my favorite since it came out.
I think his thoughts were psychokinetically transferred as entries in the file which is why it becomes increasingly corrupted
23:16 oh.....my.....gawd..... 👀‼️ those kinds of touches to these videos are what makes them such premium content. including the eyes sent the creepiness factor through the roof!!! I didn't turn on my nightlight... YOU did! 😱🤯😤💡
"I am a god!"
Spooky eyes: "Not in my house."
Dope, wicked, thirsty, swoll, etc. All the old words are not forgotten and still used on occasion.
Great stuff! Also, flashing the eyes during the credits there fnucken spooked me XD
i love the absolutely deadpan delivery of 1:23
Now this, was well voiced and the SCP was well written.
5000 and 4205 have to be the best articles i've read on the wiki.
I need so much more of these! Love the longer videos .
“Another confirmation that this is occurring in the 90s, as one has used ‘dope’ as an adjective in multiple decades”
Dude this guy is -dope- hallarious
Scp 187 also known as "sir savage the 21st"
SCP 187 is a woman that can see the present and future state of anything and anymore
Researcher: oh, it must be time for my break -(looks at his watch and fucking dies because the glass didn't have lead)-
Yes! One of my all-time favorites SCPs! Great video!
Noticed this one a while back on the monthly toplist and it became on of my favorites due to it being so unique. Happy to see you doing it justice!
Love your videos man, they're the best!
But if I could give you an advice:
Could you please mention the guys who work on the music as you do the guys who work in the art. It's simple, the list of full names is on the description of their videos.
Please if you would do this for them, they work so hard and deserve all the recognition they can get.
Omar Gameplays They already are in the description
EpicAlien 454 Well, yes. But it is only a link to one of their videos, plus they’re a music label not just one artist. I think it’s worth it to credit each one of them for their individual work and to not just give a reference to a mix.
This honestly sounds like "an occurrence at owl creek bridge". Everything that happens is in the few moments of their deaths, and it's creepy.
Ahh! One of my favorite skips. I really like it and how the researcher became crazy as it progressed.
This reminded me of a jock my father told me it translates to something like "A man driving a car in the middle of the night gets a flat tire. He walks out of the car and notices that he didn't have a car jack. He curses and sees a light in the distance. He thinks "oh maybe that's a house and someone could have a car jack", he starts to walk to the house and says "shit, it's really late, they will hate me", but keeps walking, some more meters he thinks "they must be sleeping, I'm going to annoy them, and they will not allow me to use the car jack", and keep walking, some meters away from the door he thinks "fuck, they are sleeping I'm gonna wake them up, they are gonna beat my ass whit the car jack", knoks the door, a man show up and the driver says "shovel your car jack up your ass" and leaves."
So self doubt it's a bitch.
Love your work man! Keep it coming
Gotta be honest, was listening to this while doing dishes and my heart nearly jumped out of my chest when my Dad opened the front door; wasn't a surprise visit or anything, and I only heard him, didn't yet see him. Amazing how investing these videos can get XP
Seeing those eyes at the end got me
Am I the only one who was interested to find out what the eyes told Wayde, and why it convinced him not to tell anyone what it said?
Nothing ever happens in fargo nd, been here my entire life, never expected random SCP to mention it haha
The culinary agent making the cake for her daughter's birthday actually made me sad was so sad
Me: dope a new episode
Me 1 minute later: :(
Wade is so relatable also fuck the part where he said he wanted to give Theo a hug hurt. Haven’t felt this much for a scp character since Dr: Robert Scranton
*This* is how you write good SCP articles
The eyes could also be a metaphor for people judging you
Bruh now I’m not gonna get me weekly to bi weekly 20-30 minute vid to keep me up at 2:00 am
That initial discussion of self doubt is so damn on the nail for my personality
"That's Dope!"
AWCY?
You are the best RUclipsr on explaining SCP's and other things. Love it
The disturbing even disgusting picture, the monotone voice, I’m Scared.
This came up on my home page as a recommendation from my 'watch later' playlist that i added to it 6 months ago. Glad i did.
