Premium content here, thanks Stan. It's really refreshing to see his style and clear explanation of how to draw and manage different values. I look forward to drawing with this video in mind! Wonderful.
This was incredible. As someone who has wanted to get more technical but was lost as to how, this video gives a great understanding of how/where to start. I hope this inspires others to draw something they normally wouldn't.
This was incredible. I've always drawn with pen, marker, and brush pen, but I am such an amateur by comparison. Amazing the see this type of process and workflow explained.
Oddly enough, my warm ups are sloppy garbage. Very squiggly, scratchy, unappealing, and unapologetic. After the warm up, I begin with some various hatching techniques, then I use my entire arm to get straight lines freehand. It takes time and I can't caffeine beforehand because my left hand has a slight tremor. There's something magical about those warm up drawings, they seem lively and human. But what he was saying about straight lines is true too. There's magic to them too. Think of your favorite clean line work (for me it's tattoos and their stencils). Otherworldly speed and fortune to you all! 😚💋
I hope one day to come into the animation industry sometimes I feel like I'm not good enough for it but these videos make me feel like it's more possible cause I do all these things in my own art. So happy this channel exits
Zack, buddy...just keep that chin up. Really put your work out there. What aren't you doing? That's what you need to ask yourself. Be honest, be optimistic, but realistic. I have no idea how to crack into the industry, but if I had to guess---and based on all the answers pros have mentioned---there is no one right way. First, get your name and work emailed or placed in front of people in the industry. Find places to post your work. Ask them what they need from you specifically? Second, pay those dues. Work the crappy jobs until you get a real challenge thrown in front of you...one that makes you upset or stressed out, but the kind of job that gives you the credit you deserve for the sweat and tears put into it. Third, always have another side gig or new project lined up. This may be challenging, but really if you are a freelancer...you'll be used to it. Getting more work isn't that hard. Just be mature and responsible enough to get yourself out there and working. I'm sure you'll be famous within the industry in no time. (Some animators don't get paid well or get the recognition they deserve, so...keep that in mind too.) I wish you the best. Good luck and may it work well for you.
Over 12 years ago, I did an internet search on how to rotate a spaceship (coral skipper star wars) in 3d space. That was my first introduction to perspective! It's been a very deep rabbit hole ever since. And a fun one!
A very interesting and informative video . I've drawn, painted, vehicles and even planes in the past but this is a very good and simpler way to show firm and perspective and spacial values, shadows and lighting
Really loved this instructional video. Inspiring AND helpful. The finished pieces are accurate yet imaginative. I haven’t been working on vehicles at all lately, but you have inspired me to start! Subscribed and liked!
I remember learning this back in my art school days. Many of the students called it the "Feng Zhu Method", since we were introduced to his work back then and his similar approach to vehicle design. It really helps out, and will certainly expand your skillset. Time to bust out the sketchbook!
After almost a month of learning how to draw vehicles, I was starting to feel a little bit stuck. But now that I found your video I feel like you gave me the last push I needed to keep on and complete my studies. Thank you sir!
AH Dynamic sketching. Listen, if I can learn to do this with my myoclonus, then anyone else watching/reading here should know: You can do it too (I just use a bit more white out than you probably will haha)
If you enjoyed this video be sure to check out the vlog we filmed with Kevin Kruse - ruclips.net/video/buo-79VkxWc/видео.html

Just What I was looking for 10/10
Da Vinci and Miyazaki loved drawing air planes. We should learn from the masters
Love the process! I need to sketch more 😅
Thanks ☺️
Suggestions for simple tutorials or books please
scott robertsons book "how to draw" is great for this kind of thing
@@o0shivashakti0o it's definitely not "simple", but I would also recommend this! Just... after you work on the fundamentals.
I love this type of drawing, excellent work!
Well done Kevin!
Thank you, Fabio. I hope you're doing well!
Awesome! I’m gonna try this out. That freehand circle at the very end was mighty impressive😄
Really great tips! Thank you for the video!
I want this guy to tell me a story..he's got such a wonderful voice!
Great video! I'll try this technique next!
Really Interesting Video 🙌🔥 Amazing Talent and Skills ✌️💕

Beautiful Artwork! Masterpiece!! Like!! Thank you for sharing!💗 💗
Reminds me of Scott Robertson
Brilliant ❤
such a fantastic tutorial!!
Never drew a vehicle in my life but this makes me want to go and get some real life references and draw them.
Well, you don't need to go far. Take pics of your neighbor's car or your own car. Or look up refs online.
@@lunayen I draw from online refs too much. I feel like I should rely on my own photoa.
THIS IS SO COOOOOL
Amazing tutorial!!!
Amazing video, I have always been into robots so I think this will be very helpful in learning to create these machines from imagination
this is a great video!
Thank you!
amazing.
Kevin's a baller :)

Amazing...👏
Wow, it's an amazing and amazing work. ~~ ^^🧡🧡🧡💓💓👍👍👍👍👍

This is very cool 😎👍
I enjoyed exploring art world I would like know more of the briefly animation you talked about I want explore more deeply
I was really hoping for something from Scott Robertson in this video.
He should design some HotWheels. Perfect concepts. This is great info for sketching anything really.
Kevin Cruz disarm the door!
AH Dynamic sketching.

13:15 what is the glue pen looking marker watery thing :))) ?
Hello, Did you've use special marker paper for this drawing ?
This was drawn on plain, 80lb paper
Wow
thanks for sharing
Amazing 🥰 What camera mount did you use in 8:43 minutes of the video? Thank
It's just a tripod folded up and weighed down at one end with some heavy objects!
💪🏽
Hello.
What is the name of a transparent pen when used around 13 minutes?
That is a blending marker from Chartpak. I use it on occasion to disturb the ink on the paper and create texture/noise.
Thank you very much!!
Can you make a video called how to draw a dressed figure?
You would need to know how the body underneath works first.
He looks exactly like Francis from Malcolm in the Middle. Uncannily so.
The construction from the Imagination is better the a copy from are pictures.
16:38 this dude just casually drew a perfect circle. What kind of witchcraft is this
Is that an em5 there? My brother!
Ko💗👏🏻
Who was the artist he referenced- Charles Barnes??????
Bargue :-)
First lesgoooo
Edit: shy never mind I don’t know anymore. Thought I accomplished something for once-
The instagram link doesnt work
Reached out and he deleted his IG. The other links in there are his preferred places for you to keep track of him and his work.
@@ProkoTV ohhhh shame 😵 but i will definitely check his art elsewhere 😁
which paper is good for using markers? I've never used them before
I recommend using paper with a weight of 80lbs or more.
@@kevin71127 Thank you so much! :3
Where are u stan?
The very soft/out of focus filming combined with the sped up hand moving makes this very hard to watch.
This was not "Drawing and Inking Vehicles" It was drawing and inking planes.
Planes are vehicles
First 🥇

I'm very disappointed you make NFTs
great video let down by the annoying, too loud, music overlay. shame.
I like these videos but not the clickbaity titles.
