I can hardly believe a old accountant is binge watching silage and basically all the videos I can find. It's incredibly relaxing and the team are so great. Thank you for doing these videos . 🎉😊
Tom as you’ve diversified with the book and fast and the farming!! It might be time for “ now that’s what I call farming music compilation” but great to see first cut done ran like a well oiled machine. Cheers for another great video
I just love watching you so enthusiastically enjoying yourself, Tom You are so fun to watch! Absolutely ADORE how you pros coordinate the rigs for silage collection like symchronized dancers. So graceful! And you folks are surely having fun when things work so perfectly like clockwork like that. 👏👏👏🙌🏆😁🙏
Haha brilliant mate, loving it belting the tunes out! Recon when the time comes for a tractor upgrade comes young Mrs Pemberton will have the all important decision on the deal if that buddy seat is up to her standard 😉
Love watching the synchronisation of the machinery as the silage is being brought in and getting rolled down. I also watch @10th Generation Dairyman and it’s very interesting comparing your methods and different feed crops. You both work exceedingly hard to look after your farms. 😊
Another great video Tom, 1st cut silage looked a busy one this year for you and the kit used looked ace and massive such as a fastrac and an 18tonne western trailer 🚜👍🏻
I've been watching your channel for some time. I know each year you deal with silage waste (sorry if I used the wrong term, not a farmer ;) ). If you were to add hole punched grates about .5m wide and however long on all 3 sides of your silage bays, spaced every 1 to 2 meters and connected to drainage to sweep away the water, it could allow for air flow to the bottom and through out the silage. Basically, I see airflow being a big issue with your silage bays and this is a solution I think could work for you.
Managing effluent is a key environmental issue given it is disastrous to get into a water course but in a clamp the key thing is to keep air out of the clamp (hence the heavy compression) so the grass can pickle. 😀
I can't stop smiling listening to your karaoke and yes flags would be great for those who may fill in for you mowing. I never would have thought about the richness inbetween the buildings and the height inside the sheds - - I truly enjoy watching your videos learning and not thinking about the shit show going on globally - THANK YOU
Yes yes yes go see the tractors from Peter, they looked amazing on the back of that lorry. Brilliant set of videos, also watched your clips from Olly's daily ones and my you really look like you were having the time of your life.
Nice silage we have already done ours nice work do like to see more music on your videos recently but my favourite music you have put on your channel is the American dream song it is so catchy thanks Tom 👍🏻🚜
We love the music in your videos, we have a Pemberton playlist for our son, Kallum (who loves watching farming vids especially yours), that is over 2 ½ hours, which we listen to in the car. 🚜🚜🚜🚜🚜
Great videos Tom, music variety is great. Im getting married it just over 2 weeks and we have a song for our first dance that I discovered from you're videos. Keep up the great work young mate
Very good, was at the shop on the weekend, lovely suntrap. Would have loved a brew but we had pop and watched your sister jumping, she didn't expect a crowd ;-)
Comment: you and Jo are so blessed to have each other! Obviously a match made on Earth and in Heaven. ❤️ Question: Is all the music you play what you really listen to? How about a Tom Pemberton play list? Yes, please!
Drone footage was amazing, as always, and thanks for the new music- loved it. Hearing you try to sing out those tunes, well, definitely lots of fun! Lol.
good vid today Tom. That JCB machine looks like a child's toy on the drone. you could just pick it up and zoom it along the road lol. But I think you and your Dad are finally having an effect on me. I was walking along the edge of a grass field the other day and I found myself looking at the grass thinking ... hmmm - nice grass this, lots of leaf, no seed head, would make good silage!!! lol
@@TomPembertonFarmLife ok but if it’s going slow the Jag is it’s on its heels and the grass is getting no chance to dry, I’m from Ireland and the usual process is the rake is coming in earlier than the harvesting guys, so they be a few fields ahead of them, gets more time to dry out. So what happens if your rake operator breaks down? Everyone else is held up then, the Ginger Warrior won’t be happy 😂
Such great videos love watching them and getting educated. Excellent scenery and most importantly a great RUclipsr. Stay safe and everyone else in the world 🌏👍🙂
Great content takes me back to the days when we used to cut silage with a Reco chopper and a Deauz Dx110 with 2 Deauz 90 with Warick twin axle trailers thanks Tom and the team
Question: why didn’t you put the tubing down the edging of this clamp? Is it coz it’s under a roof? Don’t you get residual moisture run off from the grass?
That’s some good looking haylage. Y’all got it put up just in time before it started raining. That JCB Fastrac is one good looking tractor. I’d like to spend some time in it working the fields. I wonder how it compares to other tractors of equal horsepower. I haven’t seen any JCB tractors in my area. I recently saw where JCB holds the world record for the fastest turbocharged tractor at 153 mph. I’m sure it’s built strictly for speed though.
Hey Tom I enjoyed the song by Maisie. Also we enjoyed the karaoke in the tractor. We recommend next time Joanna and you do a duet maybe for karaoke in the tractor. I think it could be a great series. Be well be you happy cows to everyone
Hey, Tom love the new music!!! Brilliant tractor driver 💯!! Hmm not sure on the singing tho 🤣🤣 give that 5/10 🤣🤣 Great work by all as always keep the great work 👍👍
Love how well u and the wife get along with each other its a shame she's not in more videos also i guess it could be a good thing that u have no room for the silage wich means plenty of feed and don't have to worry about running out?
Well Tom similar thing happened me mowed dry Monday giving for dry started to lift Tuesday evening and had 3 thunder shows of rain in ireland here but I noticed w th boss it didn't effect how wet th xcrop was only wet was in from being mowed best of luck love ur vids and hope ur silage keeps well
Love watching your videos. I’m from South Africa and winter is starting here. BUT during the summer we had a lot of rain and nou at the end of may we’re still making silage of sorghum.😅 It os a big job to do and in some places we get stuck because the ground is still wet 😅
Just a thought , could you have the green and black sheets on rollers at the back of your silage clamps/sheds and then pull them out with the manitou or by electric motors❓❓
I like the new music but I missed 'I was Born for This". And I would have liked longer tedding shots. But you and Jo are wonderful and I love to watch you on the farm!!!
Great video.... one question though.... why can't people fill their own loads. You should be able fill your own trailer. It's so much faster than the guy in the harvester having to turn the shoot back. Fill the back of your trailer first. Match the harvesters speed and then start coming back. Until you reach the front. Fill that up as much as you can and start pulling away. The harvester driver should only have to finish off. He gets to drive at a constant forward speed then and not always decelerating and accelerating. Because what I can see is when he accelerates from filling the back up,, you lift off too much and then he's braking hard cause he's about to pass you out. That will drive people crazy.
I'd love longer videos mate your a legend the music is great but the music you always play during your videos is just your channel I hear I know I'm watching the best farming vloger lol
LOL Poor Jack getting bounced like a red rubber ball inside the JCB. Jack is a big guy in a little space. And your cutting is done.....................for right meow!
Great video Tom, just stick to the day job, don't get making records. Can't see all second cut going in the clamp, think you will have to bale a few acres. Wonderful to see your good lady by you side, she certainly spoils you with food.
Awesome 2-part video on taking in the 1st cut! Loved, loved the music! Someone tell me if Tom ever offers up an official 'Tom's Tractor Playlist' anywhere. I was bopping to all the music clips while I ate my lunch in my kitchen since today's video was my official lunch entertainment break. 😄🚜🎶💃 🚜

Great stuff , can’t beat having her indoors as you’re co pilot some days 👍🏻🚜🏴
Toms probably the nicest lad out there and knowledgeable about many things farming but a sense of good music he does not have 🤣
Love the music , 🎶 it's thanks to you I love listening to Summer Kennedy Tom . May see you Saturday if you're about 🙏

I love people who like a wide variety of music. There is so much great stuff out there that it seems silly to limit yourself to one kind.
✨Loved, loved, loved ''Psycho''✨🎶
Thank you Tom Joanne and Uncle Tom Cobbly and all ✨🖖😁✨

How come the Jag is going straight behind the rake? Not letting them get ahead and let the crop dry out more if it’s wet. 🤔
The rake is going slow. Letting it dry more after the Tedder

What's the cost of getting a full cut in the clamp with diesel additive and contractors or is it too scary to think about?
£189 per acre
