I like avoiding checkmating my opponents for as long as possible, grabbing all the pawns I can,its good practice. I didn't get my 1100 rating by screwing around!
And we move on to Caa... Who ever wins this tournament vs Anand the raining World Chess Champion I was laughing so hard here i was like ohhh he messed up ! lol great video by the way
Puddin' Pop it’s funny because he started to say Carlsen and then caught himself because he wanted to preserve the suspense even though everyone knows Carlsen wins this tournament.
Maybe someone wanna play chess against me i'm not that good i'm only learning so if u want jus add me on friends list Option2k on Chess.com or Lichess.org with message
it's funny how when you tell us to find the move in less than 10 secs i just knew it was the knight to g5 but didn't really know what to do later hahaha
One of the finest analyses on your channel. Did you yourself find those weird moves after the Ng5 ideas? Or an engine? Or they’re from a book maybe? Really cool stuff, Antonio.
I have seen nearly every one of your videos since May last year. I have to say this is one of the best analysis I have seen on your channel. Thank you for this wonderful game and the superb analysis!
11:07 why not Qc8? activates the Queen and prevents Bxe6 (because of the hanging rook). or also Qc7 (exchanging Queens after Bxc6)? What did I miss here?
i'm pretty sure this is the best analysis you've made out of match. indeed this could have been a beautiful match and a perfect hunting ground for Mr. Tal.
it's quite funny cause after all your explanations about all the 'timelines' possible, all the potential games that could have happened, i felt almost disappointed by the actual game they did! so much exchanges leading to an obvious draw.. meh
I really had a feeling about going for that knight attack....just a feeling, cause I am a regular player...BUT once again...how come these GM´S doesn´t find those moves, come on...?
Wow...to think that he could actually spend more time on the variations on possible great moves instead of the actual game itself...so much preparation on each analysis... *salute*
I never commented on any of your videos. But this one is probably the best I have come across recently. So many variations. Well done! This is really high quality.
If, like in football, there was 3 pts for a win 1 for a draw, I wonder if Gelfand might have tried a knight attack on move 19? Thanks for the fascinating video as always.
Thanks agadmator for your videos, I really enjoy your comments. You've inspired me to pursue chess as a hobby. If it's possible I would like you to cover #suggestion "The Uruguayan Immortal" :)
Its a shame that this comment has no likes. Its like all those people missed the winning comment just like Gelfand missed the winning move. I have literally spent 5 minutes laughing on this.
Not trying to brag or something like that because i am a 1000 elo player lol. But i found the moves in 1 minut lol . Great vid and awesomz game btw . You really brought me into chess etc and i am thankfull for it
What about at 13:00 RxF6, because pawn can’t capture, if queen captures took then queen to h5+, threat of royal fork whether or not they block the check or move king
I feel so good about myself right now, I've found the knight move instinctively, it really looks like this position *expects* you to play this move, even encourages the player to move one of the knights to g5. Well, hindsight is 20/20. That game would be perfect if Gelfand have found this.
Damn Agad. 6:27 to 13:28, the longest chess sideline analysis I have ever witnessed. The beauty that Gelfand missed is a shame.
carson thomas you talking about gelfand ofcourse he will miss it only anand or carlson will find that position
What i like the most about your channel is that you're never free from seeing a weird photo of Lord Gelfand ! ahahaha
Saw thumbnail, instantly clicked :)
Reminds me of Finch from Person of Interest.
Putting that photo of gelfand on a thumbnail is basically peak click bait.
After seeing this analysis, I really miss Tal. :-(
I like avoiding checkmating my opponents for as long as possible, grabbing all the pawns I can,its good practice. I didn't get my 1100 rating by screwing around!
Pawn Grabber 1100😂
Pawn Grabber best joke
Better than a person I faced that used an engine to get to 1800.
Chess.com even gave me a win that game after he demolished me in under 2 minutes in rapid time format.
"My precious."
And we move on to Caa... Who ever wins this tournament vs Anand the raining World Chess Champion I was laughing so hard here i was like ohhh he messed up ! lol great video by the way
Anand was the reigning champion waiting to face the winner of this tournament. I don't understand your comment. Did I miss something?
Puddin' Pop it’s funny because he started to say Carlsen and then caught himself because he wanted to preserve the suspense even though everyone knows Carlsen wins this tournament.
It's raining World Chess Champion today!!!
Right ! :)
Maybe someone wanna play chess against me i'm not that good i'm only learning so if u want jus add me on friends list Option2k on Chess.com or Lichess.org with message
50% of the video was spent analyzing move 19 and its variations. Very interesting
it's funny how when you tell us to find the move in less than 10 secs i just knew it was the knight to g5 but didn't really know what to do later hahaha
me too xD
same here lmao
The addition of these mid-game quizzes adds a whole different dimension to the presentation of the matches. Thanks a big lot.
Thanks for the 2 awesome games today agadmator 👌🏼👍🏻
17:14 we all know... but then again, people watching in 20 years might not...
Well theyll know somewhere emerged Magnus here so it could be him winning.
I’m addicted to you and your channel agadmator thanks for everything
One of the finest analyses on your channel. Did you yourself find those weird moves after the Ng5 ideas? Or an engine? Or they’re from a book maybe? Really cool stuff, Antonio.
The video has a whole 6 minute homage dedicated to what would Tal do if the had this position. Truly the greatest
Hi Agadmator, Love your channel, it is simple, educational and entertaining, keep up the good work. Also, do more Gelfand games :D
There truly is no way to save the hippo. Unless the killer of the hippo dooes not see the hippo.
tiago ribeiro lol what? XD
Over Watch @16:20 when he talks about tal
Kramnik couldn't find the move and then he realized what Ivanchuk said about the hardest move to find. Complex game even for 1265+ player.
What a boring game and just totally uninspiring from the players. I guess they wanted a draw. Ne8 and Nd2. What a snoozer.
make the photo of Gelfand something that will just randomly pop up under any future video, for the sake of fun.
I have seen nearly every one of your videos since May last year. I have to say this is one of the best analysis I have seen on your channel. Thank you for this wonderful game and the superb analysis!
Your analysis of the refreshments in all of these games... pure genius, good work!
Every time you show a photo of Boris Gelfand, I bow down 3 times. All the way to the floor!
Tal.
I was about to bring my grandma to the hospital but I saw the thumbnail so I had to watch this first
You're not going to do the game between Ivanchuk and Svidler?!!??! Damn...
Nice quote on 7'21: "Now Black has so many options but none of them really work." (Agadmator, 2018)
it's quite funny cause after all your explanations about all the 'timelines' possible, all the potential games that could have happened, i felt almost disappointed by the actual game they did! so much exchanges leading to an obvious draw.. meh
Seems as the more I play the worse I get
🔥🔥🔥
I really had a feeling about going for that knight attack....just a feeling, cause I am a regular player...BUT once again...how come these GM´S doesn´t find those moves, come on...?
Why dont white bishop capture black bishop when it is not guarded..... When black's rook and queen are on c8 and d8.....at 17:38
Very Educational video. Thank you very much for this awesome video.
There's something in "dat bag oba dare" Living in NYC, I'll tell ya Gad, you'll fit right in....lol
It‘s not going to be considered a spoiler if you name the winner of this tournament.... you know, „whoever went on to challenge Anand“....:)
This is what happens when noobs play chess... starting with 3:00 when they both played noob move, althought they are """GMs"""
Gelfand from 1993 would play Neg5 in a second!
3:13 Yes, Carlsen is very interesting. lol great video as always!
Chucky would have whooped Kramnik's ass after that knight move if his clock was not running out of time.
I didn't find anything. After watching this video, I couldn't even find the car keys.
You can tell someone like Talking would have found Ng5,it's his style.
11:07 Queen to C8, now if bishop captures Queen captures rook on C1 with Check and picks up the knight on G6
Chess is way too complicated for blitz. GM agadmator makes it look too easy.
I don't know which was harder, White to find that missed attack sequence, or Black to defend against it.
why you dont make videos for womens champiuonship?
Leave the engine working more and it suggests Neg5 as the better move or at least both as being equal. Ned2 ?! is not even on the list though. :)
6:28 Agad I found both the moves 💪 victory 2nd time
I always ask this question about the quote on the top of the screen: If chess is 99 percent tactics, what is the last percent??
wow great analysis. didn't see that finish coming.
11:16
Instead of rook c6
Why not ne6 threatening checkmate on g7 ?
oh my god I found the moves like instantly
Do I get a prize?
Im here to comment that stupid photo in the thumbnail, cut it off its not cool, thumbnails should be something intresting or something, damn
a video about possibilities but they are endless
Yay! I found that knight to g5 move! Does that mean I'm a good attacker?
Mikhail tal's ghost is gonna give Gelfand nightmares lol
Sometimes the hardest move to find is Knight back 🤗
Those Boris Gelfand Memes :D
Like it
Stand up from the grave tal they have time and they still dont find moves
There are rest day(s) to chess players but not to Agadmator!
K to g5... I found that in an instant....Iam getting better
Great game with great analysis on those wild lines.
What is the purpose of Qb8 in the beginning?
I find you very sympatic dude :)
Petition to rename the King to the Gelfand
2:54 why not capturing the knight with check to open the king
how many time do they have in these classical games?
At 14:03 why not capture the bishop
im a simple man i see gelfand photo, i click
yeah, i think that Carlsen is interesting too.
Does anyone else love the way he says "bishop"?
Gelfand is too timid to be a champion
HELLO EVERYONE..... AND TODAY...
I preferred your outcome to the game
Gelfand is a true meme material. Damn
I really liked this deep analysis!
Thanks agadmator for your videos, I really enjoy your comments. You've inspired me to pursue chess as a hobby. If it's possible I would like you to cover #suggestion "The Uruguayan Immortal" :)
Gelfand didn't get to be Gelfand by not bringing additional refreshments to the game.
Its a shame that this comment has no likes. Its like all those people missed the winning comment just like Gelfand missed the winning move.
I have literally spent 5 minutes laughing on this.
Awaiting, Anand vs Winner
Not trying to brag or something like that because i am a 1000 elo player lol. But i found the moves in 1 minut lol . Great vid and awesomz game btw . You really brought me into chess etc and i am thankfull for it
Love your channel!
this game needs more sac
What about at 13:00 RxF6, because pawn can’t capture, if queen captures took then queen to h5+, threat of royal fork whether or not they block the check or move king
If Rxf6 then Qxg5+ and after the king move Qxf6
I feel so good about myself right now, I've found the knight move instinctively, it really looks like this position *expects* you to play this move, even encourages the player to move one of the knights to g5.
Well, hindsight is 20/20. That game would be perfect if Gelfand have found this.
Damn I wish Gelfand would have found any of the variations! Would be brilliant!
It is 1:24 am in India,I was about to sleep but then I saw notification of this video.I got up,made salad(cucumber and carrot) and watching the video!
Your chess alarm hahaha
1:15 more refreshments
Mikhail Tal must have played Ng5 in that position.......
6.35 - The Knight moves glaringly stood out IMHO. Easy to spot!
Bravo! What a great game and a fantastic presentation!. thank you Antony.
Excellent lesson!
please do tal games
Gelfand probably trusted his opponent on that knight e8 move!
Beautiful analysis Agad! Really magical position :)
A match between wang hao and ding liren would be amazing to watch..
Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick idea. How could you think so far.... I love chess
In this game the beauty lies in the lines that Gelfand unfortunately missed!
