Man i began play chess like two months ago and i already watch every single video of your chanel you help me a lot improving my game , thank you for all your work , love from France 💜
I’ve always found chess interesting and even played it casually when I was younger. I didn’t realize there were layers upon layers of strategies that can be implemented in a match before I started watching your videos. I’m grateful to you, Agadmator, for your concise and detailed explanations and analysis. You have sparked my love for chess once again. Keep up the good work!
Haha, Svidler didn't want any funny business... But Isn't chess always a funny business? ;-) This was a very complex game and beautifully played by Svidler, the man with the nice haircut, who really deserved this victory!
I expect the players thought he'd put up a fight so they prepared for him more than the other players. He seemed uncomfortable once he left his opening preparation.
Levon is one of the best players in the world and almost always the favorite at all the Candidates he plays, but for whatever reason, he ends up imploding in each one.
#suggestion Please cover Aronian vs Sokolov (2004) or Aronian vs. Carlsen (2017, Norway Classical). Big Levon fan and they are both such crazy games. Would make for a lot of fun amidst the World Championship draws. Hope you see this. Thank you for your great videos.
Well, I recently embarrassed myself publicly by „forgetting“ that Radyabov could actually make a move with his own pawn on f6 in the endgame against Ivanchuk, not least because the pawn was his own and unpinned in the proposed line (it’s a good thing I have no reputation to lose)....but I am happy to report that I found all the right moves in this game almost immediately, so my confidence is on the mend now. Of course there is still a big difference between finding such moves over the board during a game and finding them after someone points out to you that there are decisive moves available at specific junctures. Nevertheless, it’s a valuable exercise and makes watching these videos all the more exciting.
WarcraftHD Because white would have played bishop g6, and this comes with check so the black king would have to grab the bishop, and then white would simply take that black rook on d4 and win the exchange.
How do i know when a critical moment has occured in my own games? If i could know that i will spend more time and look for the most counter intuitive move and perhaps it will lead to a nice combination.
I wonder if the camera clicks are annoying to the players. I think I would find it extremely annoying unless they can silent the "clicks". Not going all out Bobby Fischer, but I think I would complain if someone was taking pictures of me during the play.
Unseen videos will not have a red-underline on them indicating your position during a prior viewing. You can see all of them by clicking "agadmator's Chess Channel" and going to "Videos." This list scrolls indefinitely all the way back to the pop-music era.
Hey I need a little help I can't predict the next moves as other guys can Plzz kindly give me some tips I learn from.all these matches But i cant really use them in board
I always thought okey what happens when bishop is going there and agadmator is like is you move the bishop its a blunder, then im like im just gonna wacth the game -,-
"You can capture the bishop. You can capture the rook. You can checkmate the black king if you like. Whichever you prefer. I always prefer to go for checkmate." - Agadmator 2018
Hey agadmator, Could you tell me what chess software do you use? I think that software would help me to practice chess since it looks really nice. Thank you before :)
Glad Kasparov is active again in rapid and blitz. If he was active in Classical he could possibly be Magnus Challenger his classic rating would place him in #3
countering a imprecise idea with another imprecise idea always a good idea
agadmator 2018
LOL
I have a feeling they use this logic in Russia far too much.
1:50 When you haven't even started watching the match and you're already loving Agadmator for all the work he puts in
Man i began play chess like two months ago and i already watch every single video of your chanel you help me a lot improving my game , thank you for all your work , love from France 💜
me too.. I'm slowly climbing the ELO ranks.
No blunder with the sound this time :D. Thank you for the excellent video.
"now pause the video and look for the move"
me: "its gonna be something absolutely freaking stupid. like bishop g6"
"bishop g6 is an idea"
WHAT
You're learning...
Well, it's actually quite obvious bishop to g6 is a winning move, which makes it not stupid at all :p
THAT WAS ME TOO I SAW IT
I usually never get any of these but I was so happy that I understood it this time. Progress!
Eric Reinecke I actually found it out and thought was logical.
a good start
Thank you for deeply describing your screens😂
Sure thing :D
I found both “feel free to pause the video” moves and thought “I beat a grandmaster!” Then realized I never would have survived to those positions. 😐
I dont humiliate, but go for a comfortable win, just make sure that I dont blunder the win away

7/10 could use more photos of Gelfand
The same variation from Tal-Botvinnik match😁All I know about this line is from you agadmator

Can you give a tour of your place and show your dog and stuff? Would love to see who you are!
Why is gelfand the only one with a decimal point? There is certainly some conspiracy here ...
The decimal point is awarded to the most photogenic player.
"Nice closeup of Levon Aronian, not really a closeup just didn't sit down just yet"
Me: An in-between move?
Matthew Fairchild lol
No Gelfand pics :O
I love your videos

Could you please do a chess960 video some day?
Ironic that the audience watching 'live' were not watching the tournament 'live'
I think they should hire you to comment a match between Carlsen and Caruana.
Lol you should say "links will be in the description, you all know the tactics/lines"
12:32 "...you can checkmate the king, if you like". Among plenty other possibilities, lol
Hi, why did Aronian so poorly at the Candidates 2018? Many thought he would win, but he landet on last place. What happened?
maybe he got demoralized after getting absolutely destroyed by kramnik.
Mondsüchtig this is chess things happen
There always be someone in a tournament who score poorly... maybe bad luck, no one knows

Watching the game without a screen isn't fun anymore!!!! I don't think is a funny picture. Thnx for the game.
@suggestion:- Can u make a series of 10 games, consisting of top 10 chess moves of all time. Thanks :D
Hi Antonio, having trouble with paypal. Would you consider getting a venmo account?

Aronian says "no not really" and castles anyways 😂😂 best commentator ever
Why not Kxc3 at @3.37? Wouldn't win a pawn with bad position for white?
Are you a Humiliator or Checkmater? (To everyone in the comments)
Humiliator right here
Always fun to see Svindlers haircut in that pic.
Want to have more fun with this?? Switch on captions for first 3 minutes. A whole new perspective :D
Agadmator's channel is the best chess channel ❤️
What happen to levons colorful undershirt?
Chess humiliation is the worst kind of humiliation..
I'm sorry. Can someone explain why at 10:02 rook didn't go to d4 instead of d2 (black)?
WarcraftHD Because white would have played bishop g6, and this comes with check so the black king would have to grab the bishop, and then white would simply take that black rook on d4 and win the exchange.
Adin Suljkanovic yep, I see it now. Thanks!
Remember Guys, Only Legends Play 1.a3!!
They said everything I wanted to say in comments so I say I enjoyed it
1:35 is that Papa Carlsen in the middle of the front row there?
How do i know when a critical moment has occured in my own games? If i could know that i will spend more time and look for the most counter intuitive move and perhaps it will lead to a nice combination.
Interesting game! I saw the Rd8 move
I wonder if the camera clicks are annoying to the players. I think I would find it extremely annoying unless they can silent the "clicks". Not going all out Bobby Fischer, but I think I would complain if someone was taking pictures of me during the play.
I found that move rook to d8😊
12:50 for sure u better give up

Hey
I need a little help
I can't predict the next moves as other guys can
Plzz kindly give me some tips
I learn from.all these matches
But i cant really use them in board
You may want to start playing against an engine that suggests a move when you want a suggestion. I think chess.com has one.
Yey i found rd8 😄
Omg this bg6 move... i was actually calculating the line before you even told us to pause the video LOL
I always thought okey what happens when bishop is going there and agadmator is like is you move the bishop its a blunder, then im like im just gonna wacth the game -,-
since the championship match between kramnik and kasparov and the famous berlin gets mentionted often i would love to see that #suggestion
:D very nice
Good game
I found both the moves in almost 3 seconds 😊, always wanted to learn the endgame , i think i m learning now
Congratulations for not blundering the double sound this time ;)
Missing Medo! Hopefully will join the next game.

Hey agadmator,

I think that software would help me to practice chess since it looks really nice.
Thank you before :)

Reuben Osman Thank you for the information !
Hi
💛💛
Hey!
Is there any game held bet Vishy Anand and Anish Giri?
If there is then please show us.
#YES# he has already shown one from what I remember. Its title was 'No draw from Giri this time'
🌹🌹
Zlatan Ibrahimovic wahy is that 😒
I anticipated you'll show this game, it's interesting.. in fact, I pretty much have most of these games memorized... But you're analysis is enjoyable
why do you insist on analyzing lines based on moves that even a 1200 rated player wouldn't do?
Glad Kasparov is active again in rapid and blitz. If he was active in Classical he could possibly be Magnus Challenger his classic rating would place him in #3
