    I’ve always found chess interesting and even played it casually when I was younger. I didn’t realize there were layers upon layers of strategies that can be implemented in a match before I started watching your videos. I’m grateful to you, Agadmator, for your concise and detailed explanations and analysis. You have sparked my love for chess once again. Keep up the good work!

    Well, I recently embarrassed myself publicly by „forgetting“ that Radyabov could actually make a move with his own pawn on f6 in the endgame against Ivanchuk, not least because the pawn was his own and unpinned in the proposed line (it’s a good thing I have no reputation to lose)....but I am happy to report that I found all the right moves in this game almost immediately, so my confidence is on the mend now. Of course there is still a big difference between finding such moves over the board during a game and finding them after someone points out to you that there are decisive moves available at specific junctures. Nevertheless, it’s a valuable exercise and makes watching these videos all the more exciting.

    • @tarrasbulba4408
      @tarrasbulba4408 6 лет назад +1

      WarcraftHD Because white would have played bishop g6, and this comes with check so the black king would have to grab the bishop, and then white would simply take that black rook on d4 and win the exchange.
