Very nice game from Capablanca. The endgame with K+R+N vs K+R+B is a model endgame analysed as the first endgame in the Shereshevsky's famous book "Endgame Strategy".
I just noticed that you have awesome playlists. Classifying videos by participants, opening and event. I don't know if you categorized all yours 700+ videos but it is very enjoyable! Thanks a lot!
As I'm living in Vienna, unfortunately I don't know anyone from the Prague Chess Club... The game was in my opinion a positional masterpiece by Capablanca, only he could play and win like this, simply brilliant!
I REALLY enjoyed this game, Antonio. It was astounding to see Capablanca recover from such a penned in position and see each of the last 20 moves incrementally tighten the noose. It would have been amazing to see a Capablanca v Karpov match (although based on comments about the 2016 championship, many people might find nearly flawless chess too boring).
Astonishing tactical king advancement ,the Russian was forced backwards ,loved how Capablanca locked in blacks king ,breathtaking, well done for 200k subscribers.
Wish you to have already 1 million followers. Intersting, gentelman, funny. U R a Good mad agadmator. Keep the fire allways ON. I will speak by the name of all your fans, We love you all ❤
Hi Jan great to hear it, I have added another game to the meetup so we have two games upcoming. We are a very relaxed group with a real mix of abilities. Hopefully see you there :)
Hello agadmator, I always hear you speak about how beautiful these chess games are and I know you're a huge fan of Mikhail Tal, but I have a hard time understanding the poetry behind some of these chess moves. I know I have a long way to go to becoming a master of chess, but I have a passion for the game and I want to learn as much as I can about the game and its history. I just wish I could learn how to distinguish between a beautiful chess game and an ugly one if you can help me.
All experienced players know that winning pawns is the bread and butter of chess. Yes, you must apply caution and on many occasions not rush to catch them. There are many examples of Carlsen not winning the pawn immediately when you thought he would. But there are a glutton of examples in chess where winning pawns proves decisive. And a large chunk even at the highest level.
The next year, 1937, in the Semmering-Baden International Tournament, Capa played again the white pieces against Ragozin, and in a equal middlegame launched a fierce attack against Ragozin´s king and reached a won position, but in time-trouble blunders and Ragozin drew the game.
Study his chess books. Trust me, you will learn. I learned the most from the games of Capablanca. Going to the endgame quickly to use my endgame skills taught from studying Capablanca's endgames. What is amazing is, that Capablanca just knew the best move.
Maybe they should put a flyer in the chess cafe in Prague to let people know when they meet. I have been there several times and there is no one even in the room.
Hi Testa, I will be taking a handful of simple flyers to the next meetup on Tuesday :) I only recently took over the group (I have run two meetups so far). Hope to see you in the future!
Make "EXCELENTLY" as a agadmator special word. It's like, after you analyzed at the middle of the game. And then come that word "and now.. X grab a X EXCELENTLY"
One extra is often not enough against the pishop pair advantage, many GMs have drawn this way, but that is recent play and of course always depends on the position.
Chess engines are really accurate in calculating endgames. While I've said it before, and I still agree, the human interpretation of the game is fun part that I watch for. It would be interesting to know what stockfish rates the game when they resign. I'd be an interesting quality of the human players. Do they resign when their opponent is up 1 or 2 points? Or do they wait until stockfish finds a forced mate? Holding on to the VERY end. Awesome video always, thanks mate!
At 8:44 why not capture the bishop with check further ruining black's pawn structure and only then play b4? I thought for sure it was better, am i missing something?
9:36 king to d5 if knight to b5 king to c4 . if the rooks are exchanged white knight can't move from a7 due to the bishop and black king would pick up to a and b pawn because it is way closer. why not instead of e7?
ali veli The idea is not exchanging rooks but instead exchanging minor pieces. Too many black pawns get on the chop. After Kc4, Rxd7 Kxb5 Rxf7, (if Rxa3 then Rxc7) and if white king gets active then Black is lost. Kingside pawns will be too much. Edit continuing the line after Rxf7 if g6then Rf6, if g5 fxg5 hxg5 Rf5 wins.
What kind of chess sets are they using in the chess club photo? I personally especially like that queen. I see it a lot in videos but don’t know what kind of set it is. Anybody know?
I think we may have discovered Capa's secret just from this game. It's time. No matter what the position, he produces extra tempi from nowhere. No wonder they called him a genius.
Rey Rider Its a rule, the best way to think of it is like this. c7 pawn jumped to c5 right? but as this happened he had to at some point in time walk over c6. The white pawn on b5 was always looking at c6. so after c7 to c5 white either captures it enroute or forfeit the chance to do so if not done as a inmediate reply to c7 c5. Hope that help.
I hope he finds a way to turbo charge his play for rapid and blitz, otherwise in November we may hear Carlsen repeating his line, "too weak, too slow".
"If you're in Prague, Czech them out".
Nice.
"My wife said that she will leave me if I take part in the chess tournament next week ."
" So what will you do ?"
"1.e4 as always " 😂😂😂
nice joke😂😂😂
Good
Damn 😂😂
That is nice, but that is like the most well known chess joke. Usually n1. on chess joke websites.
Capa blanca
From the games I have seen of Capablanca, he always starts with 1.d4
Very nice game from Capablanca. The endgame with K+R+N vs K+R+B is a model endgame analysed as the first endgame in the Shereshevsky's famous book "Endgame Strategy".

Damn Capablanca was ruthless.
Awesome endgame.
Thank you so much for promoting our club and giving us so much screen time!
wm8032 really awesome!
As I'm living in Vienna, unfortunately I don't know anyone from the Prague Chess Club... The game was in my opinion a positional masterpiece by Capablanca, only he could play and win like this, simply brilliant!
#suggestion Ebralidze - Ragozin, Tbilisi 1937. A very interesting game in which both players ignore a hanging rook.
I've been hoping to see this game for awhile!! Thanks for uploading!
finally!!! finally some Capa games,, Agad i love you! please more
I REALLY enjoyed this game, Antonio. It was astounding to see Capablanca recover from such a penned in position and see each of the last 20 moves incrementally tighten the noose.

The Prauge chess cafe is great! I went every day for one week during my visit, and hardly anybody was there!
"Maybe you'll have the time of your life". Brilliant quip!
love watching your content man, keep it up
Capablanca + Agadmator= Ultra Chill
2 videos, a livestream, and a bullet chess tournament?! You are a god!
352 Likes and 0 dislikes congratulations!! You have the one of the best quality channels in youtube
When asked how many moves he thought ahead in chess, Capablanca answered,"Just one. But it is always the best move."
Astonishing tactical king advancement ,the Russian was forced backwards ,loved how Capablanca locked in blacks king ,breathtaking, well done for 200k subscribers.

If it is possible, it would be great to see more Paul Keres games! Amazing channel - thank you!
#Tal This is probably my favorite non Tal game on your channel. So much to learn!
Congrats on 201k subscribers - Also thanks for more Capablanca games :) #tal
Great quote "if you have to complicate chess you do not understand chess" -- thank you.
Spending 1 minutes 30 sec to promote the Prag Chess Club, just Good Guy adagmator things
exactly 1 tenth of the vid lul
I'm in Prague next week, I'll check it out on Tuesday :)
Look forward to meeting you and having a few games!
Be careful, Jan is very strong. Don't play him for money! :)
How does the Prague chess club determine who gets the one fancy chair?
You are welcome to come to find out :)
(not that I am a member, just saying)
This is the main prize for the winner of the previous tournament. 😅
So sad he didn't do the "sorry about that" thing with the sound for the 200k video
Genie Ratatouille no
Back in my teens (1980's) the first great player my dad told me about was Capablanca, "The Chess Machine"... and that he was. ;}
I would have grabbed the pawn!
Pawn Grabber ur profile photo 👍🏿😂😂😂
*Grabs pawn* "My own, my love, my precioussss."

AlphaZero: I'm a pawn scraficer and I know it.
God of chess, capablanca
at my weekly club I go to, a common phrase is "I'm a dirty pawn grabber" :P
The next year, 1937, in the Semmering-Baden International Tournament, Capa played again the white pieces against Ragozin, and in a equal middlegame launched a fierce attack against Ragozin´s king and reached a won position, but in time-trouble blunders and Ragozin drew the game.
More Capablanca please!!I want to learn his style of playing

he did?
Go to his Chanel

Love the video title!
What a beautiful game, thank Agadmator. #Tal

Capablanca is my favorite in some ways. For a request; does anyone play “capablanca chess? With the bigger board and new pieces?
I already can't understand the old chess please don't make it more complicated XD
Maybe you can play it online at some chess sites.
One extra is often not enough against the pishop pair advantage, many GMs have drawn this way, but that is recent play and of course always depends on the position.
You are looking good with this hair cut

Even Maurice Ashley could not deny King d4 was smooth. Congrats on 200k!
game starts at 02:41
At 5:23 could white have played Nb5? It seems like a sound move to me but i am a scrub
Lol I sang the title automatically
11:46 it couldn’t be possible
11:47 how did that catured it!?
"The passed h pawn and the passed a pawn will. Be. Decisive."
At 8:44 why not capture the bishop with check further ruining black's pawn structure and only then play b4? I thought for sure it was better, am i missing something?
Prague chess club. Czech them out!
I gotta say that watching capablanca is incredibly entertaining.
At 5:13 , can black try : bishop takes on h2 check ?
Does anyone know the chess engine/board app that Agad is using? I’ve been trying to find it for a long while. Thank you!
9:36 king to d5 if knight to b5 king to c4 . if the rooks are exchanged white knight can't move from a7 due to the bishop and black king would pick up to a and b pawn because it is way closer. why not instead of e7?

Faz Naz123 thank you for answering, i get your point.
Dreams are often most profound when they seem the most crazy. #Tal
“If anyone is in Prague...Czech out the Prague chess club.”
Capablanca dominated open board with a knight against the bishop, his endgame was that strong.
"If you have to complicate things in chess, you do not understand chess"
-A Guy Who Never Played Tal
I like these older games
I spend hours a day playing chess over twenty games of chess a day and I'm still terrible at chess.
I have a lot of experience now.
What a stylish way to conduct a game.
Qb5 was a gamechanger
What kind of chess sets are they using in the chess club photo? I personally especially like that queen. I see it a lot in videos but don’t know what kind of set it is. Anybody know?
Capablanca. so cool. so calm.
I think we may have discovered Capa's secret just from this game. It's time. No matter what the position, he produces extra tempi from nowhere. No wonder they called him a genius.
at 11:34 why doesnt the black rook take the pawn on e3 but moves away?
cool. got it ! thanks!
11:45 How in the world did that pawn capture on c6???
Magic!
😂
Rey Rider Its a rule, the best way to think of it is like this. c7 pawn jumped to c5 right? but as this happened he had to at some point in time walk over c6. @@Th3Wick3dOn3YT That's an excellent way to describe it.
"If you complicate chess then you do not understand chess" ... Mikhail Tal would like a word with you.
I was the first to ask for 200k subs tournament....... 200k subs means two Tal games in one video........its unique idea 💡
At 9 38 the white knight cannot go to b5 for the fork because will be taken by black bishop on d7
What a game!what an end game!!
I can't find tournament on lichess app...... Why??
at 7:37 what wrong with c7 forking both rooks
You would lose the knight
I keep thinking that picture of Capablanca is a photo of Neils Bohr.
congratulations for #200k .
What's wrong with Bxb7 at 4.05 time on the video, looks sensible to me.
I really wonder how would Carlsen play this endgame for black
Like Gelfand
Only grabbing pawns instead of being sexy
should be the first sentence on Capablancas' Wikipedia page
Capa: "If you need complicated thing in chess you don't understand chess"- tell it to Tal xD
@olo bolo
Well, Fischer did, in his short analysis and comment of the Tal's playing style.
i look for skiperino but cant find him
200K!!!!
A coloured picture of Capablanca?
A lot of books there on the shelf
#suggestion the problem Maurice Ashley composed and told to Kasparov on the phone!
Why does that one guy at the Prague chess club have a fancier chair? Is that reserved for the highest or lowest rated player? 🙂
I never noticed that, it does look like the kings chair! Maybe we will start this tradition :)
That guy happens to be me! And the chair is reserved for whoever gets to it first :D
@@NikolaMarkovicPiano lol
Who sang the title 😂
I want to stay up for another hour and a half to watch the stream badly. But group assignment tomorrow and exams all next week ;((((((
Caruana plays like capablanca. No risky moves. Play solid
I hope he finds a way to turbo charge his play for rapid and blitz, otherwise in November we may hear Carlsen repeating his line, "too weak, too slow".
instead of Queen to b5, how about Queen to d7?
Nice haircut👌
Photo charllenge: I only recognize schrantz =[
I think this is the first Capa game you've posted where he's won.
Miloak Agadmator’s video on Capa’s his victory over Riumin was posted earlier this week
thank you for pointing this out I will check that video now as others I had seen from Capa on this channel where losses.
Check out the one Capablanca vs Marshall, one of the best games of all time
