Amazing a professional production tellin us how to do ALL THE THINGS WE ARE ALREADY DOING! If only I wanted to sign with a label and get millions of dollars to push fans to my Spotify I might have a chance on your platform. But since I am staying independent I get punished and buried in the infinite pile of artists trying to be heard on your platform. I mean there at least needs to be a way for serious artists without a label to have paid advertisements. As it stands it is hard enough to steer fans to 1 platform and grow it little loan 3 4 5 different platforms. Idk I just know you guys can do better for us.

You're right, it is hard enough to steer fans to 1 platform and grow, let alone 3 4 5 different platforms. It's very difficult to grow as a new independent Artist with no support from a major label or large marketing budget.

Its just as hard if not harder for all us micro indie labels too. The bigger labels have the funds for huge promo budgets. I know there are some truly amazing artists both indie and on micro labels who deserve to be heard.

Thank you for making this video. Can you tell me why the space for the Bio is so limited? I have seen other artists with lots of info on there and I am wondering if I'm doing something wrong or missing a different area to add an extended bio.

Do you know what I would like to see and I speak for a lot of people. When I pitch my song to you, it goes automatically into a basic playlist based on genre and location where an artist can guarantee it will be there for say a month. So my new single Euphoria flopped massively because you never added it to a playlist. If it had automatically gone into a playlist pool like "New UK Music" or "New Dance Music", at least every artist can be assured there is a Spotify playlist that it made it on to even for a few weeks. It would help people massively. Spotify curators cant listen to every song but at least my idea gives people a glimmer of hope of being heard.

Please someone could help me?!! I’ve distributed one song to Spotify 2 years+ ago. Spotify keeps denying that access to me because they cannot see any relation between me and my own artist name. I want to get that access as an artist or using my own label (I’m the only person behind that label). I’ve shared to Spotify all my social media related to my artist name but they keep saying I’m not the same person. Could someone kindly guide me on what I should do to get access to my profile? What else Spotify needs from me? Thank You.

@@zxrayan3536 Hi there! Yes, I did. I needed to create an instagram and a twitter account with my artist name. I added only information related to my artist name and no mention about my own label (which is myself!). I posted some contents also 100% related to my artist name. The key element that solved my issue is related to the fact that I added a post talking about an upcoming release that only iMusician (The Digital Distribution) and Spotify knew about. I could prove to Spotify that I was the same person. By the way, both my instagram & Twitter have zero followers. You don’t need followers to be verified. Once you get your access to Spotify for artists and you’re verified, you can add your label as one of the Spotify for Artists administrators. Thanks for asking me and have a great day. Proof of what I’m indicating here, just visit my profile in Spotify by searching to “Mr. Project - Rollin’ Dice”.

I downloaded Spotify for artists app it I got a blue check after proving that I’m the artist an it my music on Spotify i didn’t get any blue check on Spotify as yet but I’m sure it’s happening check out lonely by hustle baby it’s on RUclips Spotify iTunes
How self-centered are you as a company, when all you talk about is how you/Spotify can make more money from services related to you. 160 million listeners and my music is captured by the algorithms that generate 10-50 streams/month. Sorry Spotify, but I'm not impressed! /Music artist Arnold Wittman.
