A lot of content creators say they're going to explain something and be transparent...and then they're just not. You really lay it out and I appreciate that. Thank you! Make sure you're paying your taxes since this is all public lol! But great channel!
Watched and followed your stuff for years now, I'm so happy for you and i love your transparency, keep it up and never change. Always rooting for you! ❤
Yo dude- love your videos, love your music, and you’re CRAZY talented at mixing. I benefit/learn a lot from the content you put out! Question for you - could you do a video on the Facebook ads that you’ve created, what the actual ad looked like, how did you direct people to stream your music from the ad, what was your budget, what targeting did you choose, etc. That would be super cool to see - thanks bro🤘🏻
Hey Eddie! Thank you for all the informative videos! Always love watching them and learning something new! I produced a song inspired by deathbed using your drum sounds from the vol 1 pack! I’d love to share it with you!
bro, I'm working on somethings as well! Ive been trying to work my ahh off just making music, videos, everything I can to keep going. I've been seeing some numbers and it gets me really excited! I notice that you don't upload that much but I do encourage you to upload more on RUclips because I love the style of your videos, it's just what I look for in a content creator! I took the time typing this out because if someone thought the same about my content, I would want them to tell me all about it. Much love ❤
You know.. many people will tend to hide these things, thank u so much for showing us, it made me discover your content and learn about monetization. Again thanks for showing us, it increases transparency and with these vids, the world will know how spotify treats artists.
Great work! Many people opt to work for a company instead of work as an entrepreneur, so are you shuffling aside money for things like retirement or investments? If so, is there anything you can share to the larger community to ensure long-term success? Do you ever feel concerned your current streams will dwindle over time unless you keep putting out music/continue innovating?
Is the distrokid you showed, only from spotify? How about, apple music and amazon music etc? Would love to know your total distrokid income from all streaming platforms
you are one of the few people who talk about the different payouts based off of where they stream. Most of my listeners are from the Philippines so they payout is significantly lower than everywhere else!
When you’re running ad campaigns for your songs, how many do you usually have going at one time? Curious how much you spend and how you decide which songs to push
Hey man, I saw the vid from Kyle beats and he made a song with Nic d - Rock bottom. I was wondering if you can make a song with him if he is down - his style of his song with Connor price it’s like hip pop style but his own song it’s like country into R&B soul. Give it a shot then lmk if it’s suitable to you Love the vids ❤
Bro honestly at this point i need a mentor. I got NO ONE to speak to about Spotify and RUclips related growth. All i be doing is watching videos tryna get scraps to work off of.
Hey I would like it know if you’re willing to reveal, why do you only own 35-40% of your streams. Are you signed to a record label? Or do your distribution and publishing own a percentage? Are there any songs you own close to 100%? Just would like to know. Btw love your content and music. Hope the best for the future of your career as a musician and content creator 🙌🏾✨
why not sell straight to consumer?.. You get paid 0.003 cents per play. add cost of microphones, software, time ?!?.. how does 0.003 cents make sense?... 5000 downloads for an album at $20 is $100,000. 1 million streams is $4,000??!!.. Simple math. I'll go for selling my own album digitally and aim for the 5,000 downloads at $20 per album and get the $100,000. We need to stop these major companies from telling us artist how much our work cost. 0.003 cents is beyond a slap in the face.
So you only distribute to Spotify? Because you are only talking about Spotify streams and revenue. What about the other platforms you distribute to? Like RUclips music, Apple Music, etc...
Why are you doing x 0.4 after you calculated the earnings? 5 million streams is 11k, that's correct and then you're doing times 0,4 and then suddenly 5 million streams is 4400?? That's wrong
Cause I own 40% of the royalties on average. I work with other artists and we split the royalties on the songs we collaborate on. If I owned 100% then yes I would get the full 11k.

I used to do Facebook ads but now I do Spotify marqueee which is a built in Spotify campaign. I honestly don’t run much ads anymore
Great info!!!🙏 I just embarked on the Spotify journey today ✨
Love bro 💪🏽🖤 you’re a big motivator of mine💯
Happy to help!
This is really good info, specially being in South America, you let me see those numbers as something much more realistic.

Release it bro!!
Thank you for sharing these numbers and analytics with us, transparency is not something you can find so easily nowadays.
Happy to help

Make a video about marketing because that’s an area we all lowkey feel stuck in as artist

wow love the work you put in, want to learn more 💯💯💯🔥🔥🔥🔥
Would you ever consider doing livestreams where you review your subscribers songs?
Are you signed to ascap and distrokid? How do you get your royalties?
Hey, what do I have to do to make a song with you

So if I make 1 million streams for the month of March, I won’t see a payout til may? It takes 2 months every time per pay out?
When you’re running ad campaigns for your songs, how many do you usually have going at one time? Curious how much you spend and how you decide which songs to push
Usually just run the ads the first week or two weeks if we run ads. Don’t always run ads
Hey man, loved your video thanks for the wisdom
So you said you are getting 35% of your streams, how so? because of the collabs?
Yeah if it’s me and another artist or two other artist the streams are split between us

real ty bro
hey bro is it possible to talk to each other? i wanna start with spotify
Wondering how much you made through distributing to the other DSP`s like amazon, facebook, apple etc...?
Good question! Honestly prob not much. I don’t prioritize those but probably should!
Ur the guy from the midi piano preset ad
Bro honestly at this point i need a mentor. I got NO ONE to speak to about Spotify and RUclips related growth. All i be doing is watching videos tryna get scraps to work off of.
You got 43k subs 🫴
i just released my debut album and i can't imagine hitting those numbers
interesting
sponsored by lumi is huge wtf
I got 500,000 streams in total and it only gave me 12 cents
😂
But how did you get your shoulders so broad?
Genetics 😂
So Spotify pays distokid and distokid pays the artist

I work with other artists. If it’s me and another artist we split it 50/50. If it’s three of us we split it 33/33/33
What about 63,534,490 streams I have got 400$

You will hit that million listeners cuz you just gain a new follow on Spotify
Why don't you play shows if your so popular?
Well I’m just the producer. The artist I work with do shows from time to time tho
why do you multiply by 0.40?
I own on average about 40% of the streams since there are other artist on the songs and we split the royalties
So you only distribute to Spotify? Because you are only talking about Spotify streams and revenue. What about the other platforms you distribute to? Like RUclips music, Apple Music, etc...
No I distribute to all platforms just focus my marketing to Spotify

@@BeautifulBeats99 I thought producer royalties were averaging 15%. How do you manage to get 40%?
First 🥇
Second
fourth
ewww
Aw thanks 😍
