Very hard to pick, many of these are legends, Toni singlehandedly made me appreciate drumming outside of Metal, but I gotta give it to El Estepario, the man revolutionizes drumming as we sit here and post.
Would love to see all these drummers create their most impossible 10-second solo, and see which other drummers can play it! I think estepario siberiano, tre cool, and travis barker would do well!
All incredible drummers, but Estepario is 2nd to none. He has taken shit to another level, He’s faster with one hand than any of these other guys…. Even the egg beater guy!
You haven't seen or heard Kevin Paradis, David Diepold, Eugene Ryabchenko, Ken Bedene. Estepario is great no doubt. But those guys are the titans of speed and control. Trust.
Estepario is AMAZING but there’s levels to this shit and just musicianship as a WHOLE. Matt was ahead of everyone 15 years ago. Dudes like Tomas Haake were 30 years ahead of the entire community in terms of creativity and pushing the envelope. Not taking anything away from Estepario but I think you’re exaggerating a little 😆
How the hell didn't you talk about Spencer Prewett from Archspire his drumming is truly out of this world, not only fast but also has very creative parts and has a song that they reaches around 400 bpm
At 7:00 when Aaron kitcher is playing, the video is fake, he is definitely talented but the video is not real, he misses a lot of the notes and the audio isn't recorded from the drums, it's just taken from the album. I also don't think his kicks are 64th notes, they might be triplets
Riccardo merlini is easily in my opinion the fastest drummer on this earth. I have never seen someone who can reach speeds like him with purely technique. No gravity blast. All fingers and wrist.
Yeah. I am not impressed with some of the drummers on this list. Kevin is elite. David Diepold elite. Spencer Prewitt uber clean and bringing that sound and speed into the lives of yoga moms and people who would never think playing at this speed would be possible. Much less as clean and as easy to play as Spencer is making it look. He has really used proactive thinking and actions to make the best use of his muscles, and he's doing it at the highest level. I love their sound. Hits hard. Dude a few comments above hit it on the head. I currently listen to every single one of them. Mostly drum play throughs on YT. But his list of Kevin, David, Eugene, Tim Williams, I would throw in Adam Bjork, Romain Goulon, and for entertainment purposes based only on his shorts page , El Esperanza.? Something close to that. I don't mean to not spell or know his name. It is just longer and different than the average name. He does some interesting shit that he makes look simple. Too easy actually. Can't quite figure him out. Dying Fetus (wow, just typing that felt filthy) That band has a unique sound of we have been doing this for a while, and we have been at this for a long time sound to them. I mean, they are hard to listen to and not bob the ol head or grab my sticks and blast along with em. A mature sound that is quick to snag you up. Kevin Paradise (Kevin Pair-o-dee) as Ive heard him several times. Being French I figure that pronunciation is correct. He is doing some things that only a few others are doing. His foot speed, his twitch muscles. 100% controlled and used for some tight single stroke kicks. Fast as it gets singles. Big ass dice shaped beaters on those pedals. Accents his blast beats. Push pull master. How does he not make this list. Dude above has all of the ones that should be on this list. The level of ability is miles apart to a few of these drummers on it to be honest.
@@drumsalot76 it’s par-a-dee! (I’m French) and tbh el estepario siberiano is brutal, playing some animals as leaders, meshuggah, cattle decapitation AND some really groovy stuff is hard
And if he was truly a great drummer, he'd be out doing that stuff live. He does play that fast, but he does quantize... he does whatever he thinks is fair, that's not actually speeding up film.

I hope you can react to this video, it's not the best quality but it shows the ease and sharpness he adds to a band ruclips.net/video/d_NpDRdajno/видео.htmlsi=56xxH-tLfQn9SSmv
Not all great drummers were in big bands, I wish I had video of my 67 year old uncle playing back in the day. He was a drummer who could play along with what ever he heard.
I don't think anyone knows this but the Infant Annihilator playthrough was all faked. There are no microphones on the drum set and the gravity blast sounds very programmed. Also the fast kicks do not line up with his feet. I'm not being a hater on Aaron Kitcher because I know he's a great drummer but he didn't have to fake the whole video
I gotta say the athleticism is amazing, but the music is all demonic. Who needs their blood pressure raised to anxiety levels with this. I'll stick with Bozzio.
No one never mentioning Morgan from Henker, he is really fast, and he also have videos where is shows his quadra blast beats technique, And he is sure one of the fastest also, listen to Slave of my Art Album by Henker. Triggers or not, theses guys are really insanely fast
I don't understand why people say that triggers help you out or cheat all triggers are are microphones that your put on each drum all it does is help the sound it doesn't help with speed at all I don't think most people know what triggers are I used them for years and I have used traditional microphones the only difference is that triggers plug into a module that gives you the option to change actual sounds not speed not a double take go play with them understand them then have an opinion.
someone i think would fit this category well is david diepold.. he has some of the best and fastest single stroke double bass ive seen yet - similar to infant annihilator
