I’m so glad that watching the new POVs has become my Saturday afternoon tradition over the last few months. Thanks Gabe, please keep them coming ❤
❤❤
💯

@@b_d84726 same, cant wait for the show
Nice
Same here dude, was a killer show!
Surely every I Prevail show is a fire hazard
Especially the waffle show.
True!
😂😂
Your bus keeps breaking down because of your epic breakdowns
speaking facts over here....be honest people?
Hell yeah
Gabe, sit in that pocket brother. I appreciate what you are bringing with your drum parts. Your style, your story, and your phenomenal vids has rocketed you up my list of favorite drummers. Thank you.
Much appreciated!
Group - “Ancestors protect me, may they protect you” from the movie “Hot Rod”
Dylan - “DBO” Dylan BOman” and
Drum Beats Online
Jon - “1101” robots because drum and bass are usually replaced with machines
Steve - “Son of a b*tch!” Predator
Eric - “👏 👏” Troy and Abed’s Super Secret Handshake
Brian - ??? (something to do with ear picking)
Steve's is from Predator, where Arnold Schwarzenegger and Carl Weathers (who played Apollo Creed in the original Rocky movies) clasp hands and have the most impressive biceps pumps known to film.
@@theKashConnoisseur oh whoops I left that blank 😬
Hahaha very very well done 🎉
@@DrumBeatsOnline I could find Brian’s in your videos 😭
Your my inspiration
12:30 FOR THE LAST TIME. SOMEONE GET GABE LIKE A 100 PRACTICE PADS SO HE STOPS USING TOWELS AND STUFF!!
Hahaha
ever sens I found him i fell back in love with druming and want to go pro like him
Go for it bro! I want to learn drumming but I have three other instruments in my learning queue before that.
Im just going to say it. I Prevail is the next Linkin Park but not of the 2000s but of the 2020's
hoping no weird events regarding one of the vocalist XD
As long they keep in check of each other and work it out and know evryday is a new day.
I actually feel the same way. I’m still exploring their music, but I’m loving it.
@@danielsuarez4872 well, he DOES have eagle syndrome, hopefully thats the only tragedy
yeah…no
The pyro guy looks like a pyro guy and I love that.
21:37 I'm sure a lot of folks will agree that it has to be KoRn: Freak on a Leash.
I LOVE watching your videos and you’re one of the main reasons why I’m learning the drums so do you have any tips?
I know about the courses I just don’t have a lot of time in my days to try to spend time doing them so I try to practice any time I can on my own
get a teacher bro
Gabe himself offers drum courses! check the description!
He literally has a drum lesson channel lol
I know about the courses I just don’t have a lot of time in my days to try to spend time doing them so I try to practice any time I can on my own
@@I_AmSomeone maybe he’ll see this and help you out since we all played Captain obvious lol gl
That's the most pyro technician looking pyro technician I've ever seen 😂🔥
the pov videos just hit im glad you keep posting them 😁
I'm here because I'm a Babymetal fan. I just recently started watching these videos and my god I love how they're edited! I love the behind the scenes feel .. so many bands are idolized and it's easy to forget they're all "just people" too, which to me, makes being a fan of them even more cool, if that makes sense! I think being able to connect with bands on a personal level is what makes the magic happen!
Keep kicking ass and rocking on!!!❤❤❤
As a metal LD I'm guessing the homie Alex Mungal did this lighting and pyro design based on the programming, truss layout, and the use of all the flames lol.
Edit: 17:54 I love that shout out to the crew. If unfortunately very rare for artists to shout us out for all the hard work we do. When the artists acknowledge us, especially to the audience it makes all the hard work 1000% worth. Most people don't even realize how many people, how much time, and how much effort it takes to pull of a good show and putting us in the spotlight for a second makes us feel appreciated.
10:51 Lane doesnt look very enthusiastic about the cool explosions!
What’s your favourite I Prevail song to play along to?
You sir, are my hero! Wow how cool would it be to drum to more than like 10 people!! 👊🏼
I was in the pit at this Pine Knob show. It was incredible. Major props to the crew for still putting on an amazing show despite being sleep-deprived and the setbacks they faced.
That little fill at 21:47 is so cool for some reason. I don't think I've ever heard that used in a song before. The offbeat between the snare and the tom just kicks it up a notch!
i gotta say, not really into rock/metal music but i love these POV's. it's cool to see what a band member does before a show
Dang, these videos are incredible. You've made me wanna get a band going once I'm settled into my new city AND turned me into an I Prevail fan. Cheers!
How did i subscribe today and qlr got a new videoo😭 i got goated luck frfr
i just found this channel today and i feel like i watched all of the videos i find every one awsome
What is the name of the music in this video? It's magnificent, so I want to listen to it often, but I can't find it.
Your videos Gabe have become my favourite thing to watch. I really want to be on the stage one day. 🤘
I can’t wait to see you guys at sonic temple next year. It’s going to be sick!
I was there for that show at Pine Knob!!! It was an amazing show!
Love those Videos man!!❤
absolutely incredible production. the killing in the name ending never gets old
hey my idol drummer, ummm will you do a europe tour soon pls i want to see i prevail live so much
This guy Rips! New fan!
My band shirt is coming soon!
Much love from Gabe!
THISNIS SO COOL KEEP IT UPPP
Do you record every show?
JARED GOFF! JARED GOFF!
...Meeting with wife....Disaster => Check!
Is there something you want to talk about? 😀
The whole time am watching my fav drums ytuber AND AM NOT SUBSCRIBED?
Choke is a banger
I'm a drummer too brother...gigging all the time as well, thanks for sharing your journey...Inspirational.
your POV videos are amazing, Really love living vicariously through your journey. I play keyboards as well (for hobby) .
This has become my favorite Saturday morning thing. Every week.
WOOHOOO IM EARLY FOR THISSSSS! I love seeing your pov cause I strive to play that good lol
But also I love seeing the longer format and seeing more of the songs being played
THESE VIDEOS ARE THE BEST!!!
Please don’t ever stop uploading, these videos are entertaining and also so much can be learned here for musicians who want to get in this industry
**ALL YOUR BEATS/PATTERNS SOUNDING THE SAME** on Stage every time I click on a video. BUT, I still say you are in the Top 10 Drummers in the World! I learned a lot from you Gabe thru the years. You helped me develop my skills a lot.
It's crazy to me after all of these years of going to DTE/Pine Knob, to finally see the backstage. Living the dream there, Gabe!!! :)
My favorite breakdown of all time is Watch the World Burn by Falling In Reverse
I PREVAIL
Amazing performance... I love the fact that you all (the whole band) are real down to earth people, that hasn't let the fame blur the vision, Gabe, thank you for introducing me to "I PREVAIIL". Fuking Awesome!!! DON'T STOP doing what makes you happy. Looking forward to the next installment...lol
I'm sooooooo glad I flew back home for this concert! It was crazy to be there, meet the boys again (I was the one with the photo from 9 years ago!), I ended up helping Dom bring some stuff backstage, and watch a bit from sidestage. 10/10 amazing show, can't wait for the next one I get to go to
favorite breakdown of all time? Anything Sleep Tokens drummer drops! mr 2 is what we live for.! you guys are awesome as well. just added u on Spotify. love your content brother. Much respect!
All the pyro reflections looked amazing on the tom heads! 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Love these POV shots! They give us a deeper understanding of you and your band. I now know more about your band than my favorite band, Avenged Sevenfold (A7X). I wish more bands would share similar behind-the-scenes content, even if it's not for every tour - maybe 2 out of 5 tours. It helps fans connect more with their favorite bands.
These POV shots show how challenging being in a band can be, from playing shows to organizing events. We get to see the behind-the-scenes efforts that often go unnoticed. Without these shots, all we see is the live performance, and then it's over, leaving us to assume they're living a perfect life as a successful band.
I'm sure every band faces struggles. I hope more bands share POV shots like these. I've become a huge fan of your band after seeing these! Thank you for sharing.🖤🤘
Every time I watch these videos, I think "Music is so powerful that it brings millions of strangers together and they all become one family during a show." Life is good and Gabe's videos help show it. Thanks, man!
Bro has literal flashbang just like SWAT uses but right next to you, you don't have your ear protection, your cooked and onto the emergency room
Amazing. Best show so far. pyro just kicks it to the next level
When I was younger, I played in some crappy bands. Haven't touched drums in 23 years. I cried man when you walked out at the end to the empty venue. I always dreamed of being up on the stage like my heroes. You did it. You got a new fan for life, Gabe!
I was on the lawn on your left hand side. Even from back there... This was such an amazing emotional show. Can't wait for the next show
22:15 That's how your videos look like, magic! Thank you Gabe for do what you do with so much love. A fan from Argentina!
Favourite Breakdown is definetly from Breakdown of Sanity - Hero around 3:25 🤘
Hi Gabe, your POV vids inspired me to do something similar, I have a gig in 1 week and I'll vlog the preps and everything it's all because of your vids!!
LMAO, Thanks for clarifying your name in the beginning!
I love these videos! Hey, quick question - where do you get the audio for the clips when you're playing live? Is that coming straight from the board, the camera, or a mix of things??
Hey Gabe. Just wanted to say keep up the great work with the videos and the band. Ive been listening to yall since 2015. I always love yalls music and your vids!
Love these so much. You're living the dream, baby.
BTW I've heard this band's name here and there, but never listened to them. Sounds good!
Love your vids! Saw you guys in Melbourne last week. Amazing show ❤
Hope you do a vid on the Australia tour 🙏
AWESOME!!! Great job Gabe and fellas....
Hah I was like "woah this venue is kinda set up like Pine Knob"... I forgot you guys were from MI. I went to so many shows out there, the local gas stations would sell tickets/vouchers to some big name shows for like $10! Cool show and love the videos.
I was at this show and is was absolutely bonkers!!! Although I may be bias but the show exactly one week later and Inkcarceration was special to me because I was the one who proposed during Hurricane.❤
I gotta say man, you have become an absolutely PHENOMENAL drummer. I grew up playing this genre since I was 3. I was very lucky that my dad had a pretty nice, large drum set so I played a pretty big kit since then. When I was 6 I discovered Avenged Sevenfold and it was game over from that point. I made it my goal to learn every single A7X song 100% note for note, and I did that. It made me a very good drummer, and gave me this attitude that if I could play The Rev’s stuff, I can play anyone’s stuff. I knew that was a super cocky mindset, but I needed it. It’s how I learned songs, based off the thought “if a human being did this then there’s no reason I can’t.” I mean this in the most humble way I could possibly express it, although it’s not very humble lol. The reason I’m explaining this is because I feel like playing this stuff since I was so young has given me a very good idea of what makes a good metal drummer. I can usually pick lots of things out in very popular bands. I remember watching your videos when you first joined the band and being really impressed and inspired by how quickly you figured it out. I could definitely hear the same things I’m sure you could, in terms of being new to playing metal. But at the worst it was just some double kick stuff or some fills that were rarely only slightly sloppy, but I could tell because I’ve been doing the same stuff since I was so young. But it was all stuff that I’ve heard really popular metal drummers do all the time in live settings, so in my head, at the time, I just thought of you as a very good metal drummer on that same level of lots of other high level bands I’ve seen, but not someone who really blew me away like The Rev. Which is rare anyways. But man that went away SO QUICK. I loved the vids and kept watching, and it immediately became evident that you were getting like, ridiculously good. And then the videos you started putting out about other drummers, especially the A7X stuff, just completely blew my mind. That’s when I realized that you are absolutely one of those drummers to me that is so disturbingly good I can’t really wrap my head around it. It took me 21 years to get to where I’m at today, and I’m very happy with where my playing is at (always room for tons of improvement though), but the fact that you started playing this genre so recently and have already gotten to a point where there’s no question at all that you’re a wayy better player than me and so many other metal drummers is absolutely insane. Watching this POV specifically, it really seemed like every note you hit was completely effortless. And I’ve only seen that in a few drummers. I cannot wait to see where your playing is at in 5, 10, even 15 years from now because it’s gonna be something nobody’s ever heard before. Thanks for the videos and the inspiration, just another person that’s proof that you can literally do anything you set your mind to
I feel like the crowd singing TFILG was the loudest and clearest in this video than any other video. Absolutely insane!
When I was watching this, I was thinking how in the pocket you are before you said it. Your fills are so tasteful and stay well within the pocket all the time. There’s a reason you guys are getting huge. The talent in the band at every level is top tier. Looking forward to more of these videos and to see how far you guys can reach, because it’s limitless right now.
Love this POV as always dude! It's also nice of you to mention the risks of fire and pyro so often because we saw what happend to Luke during a Falling in Reverse Show that one time he gut some burns during their performance.
My favorite breakdown of all time is Choke!! I like the chugs in that one and I think it's a bouncy one too!!! I can't believe you guys pulled off the show with some of the buses breaking down and that you guys didn't cancel the show!!!
What an absolutely amazing show and video !
I love your vids man. Not even a drummer just fascinated by it all. Keep grinding. Y’all have made me a fan of the metal genre with these vids and all. No joke…I listen to I prevail while working out now daily
0:30 uhmm...soryy, but overall, have u ever watched a Rammstein-Concert?😅
That’s the venue I went to my first concert, 2001. Great accomplishment!!!
Just saw you guys perform yesterday in Adelaide! Was such a fun time, can't wait to hopefully see you guys next year! You and the whole band absolutely killed it! 💜
Man, you are for real living the dream. Cool to see that you acknowledge that in each video by saying you’re grateful. Especially love how you take us through your thoughts mid show.
i saw you guys in melbourne last Tuesday. you guys where so incredible, please come back headlining because i don’t think the crowd gave you what you deserved
Favorite breakdown ever? For me this is so easy, there are so many but the one that stays with me, probably forever, is Pantera - Domination.
The album version is good, but the live one from Moscow - Oh my, doesn't get much better than that.
Also, groove metal needs to come back, we need more Vinnie and Dime in music :)
These are the best videos!! Thanks for sharing your experience. A dream for many drummers.
Bro if my band saw this, they would get ideas I want to stay FAR AWAY from in music videos
Will you guys ever come to Canada? Loving this stuff man
You all are killing it. Love hearing you on SirusXM - Octane!
nothing like hearing the JA-RED GOFF chant at every Detroit event EVER
Just watched you guys play in Adelaide, what a show. These are my fav vids on here man keep it up! Another AUS tour asap please 🙌
man i love this so much, watching you guys while i drink my coffe is already my ritual, keep with this great work!
Gabe, we'd love to see a full show on your POV perspective dude. These videos are pure addiction
Man, I love your videos. You guys keep it so real. It's also getting me back into the heavier music I listened to many, many years ago. Keep them coming, good luck and a big thanks.
Can yall please come to little rock or memphis next tour??? I wanna see yall live so bad!
Getting chills from hearing Erics callout to Pine Knob cus it immediately takes me back to this show, you guys one upped the RIFF FEST 2023 performance big time and everyone around me had an absolute blast. Really sucks about the truck breakdowns but seemingly everyone made the best of it, I remember everyone being so confused about the merch not being there and glad that everything worked out fine in the end!
I love you guys im so jealous ive always wanted your album but ive never had a chance keep doing it your awesome huge fan this channel introduced me to I Prevail ive always wanted drums electric drums since i live with neighbors keep up the great work
17:34 can you maybe do a video on that? When I drop sticks during a set, I always Take forever to get a spare. Is that something you can practice?
woooooooo
Love all of the POV Vids Gabe, just would love to see more of a studio pov if possible sometime, I'm really curious about what being a band's drummer in a studio and coming up with drum parts is like! Thanks and keep up the vids! ❤❤❤❤❤
