The Shibuya Crossing is always a sight to see. Overall quality of the video was really good. I would love to know what body cam you're using. I just can't seem to find any...
This was an awesome video!! And lots of respect for the insane hard work and lack of sleep. I have to say you can really notice you are growing bigger!! How do you find the time and commitment to both doing the shows and training so hard! Mad respect!! See you guys in may in the Netherlands!
The opener is Yoasobi?!?! They are probably one of the biggest groups to come from Japan as of recent time! That should explain their production because they’re very well known world wide especially online where communities of Japanese music lovers and tiktokers(unfortunately if you learn the context) just spread their music.
I think it's because TikTokers spread the music around through dances without understanding the contexts of the songs (they're often associated with dark and depressing topics like suicide) and all the while people are dancing like it's describing rainbows and sunshine. Just a lack of consideration and knowledge really.@@ronrocker7131 Hope that helps
i was gonna say its nice to have both perspectives. Now you can watch matts videos on being a drum tech and this video on the drummers pov. even if it's not the same band.
I love these POV's vlogs ! Matt Horn (Luke Holland's drum tech) is doing the same kind of videos while touring and it's awesome. So please keep posting some for us ! Thanks Gabe :)
This was so peaceful to watch but also very interesting. After long day these kind of videos are the best when you get chill backround music and the backround noises.
Awesome content! Seeing Shibuya again brings back many memories. Stationed at Yokota AB outside Tokyo for 3 years. My family didn't want to leave. Kids absolutely loved it there. Hope you enjoyed your time there.
Awesome video, really fun and interesting to see what it's like behind the scenes. Would also love to see a video or something about your workout routine, I know it's not really drum related but would be really cool to find out, it's interesting how you can maintain such a great physique whilst touring and playing drums intensely so often 🥁
Dude holy fuck i cant believe your playing these big of shows now i literally watched your shit when i was 11 to about 14 and i taught myself how to play im in a death metal band now and im 18 and its just crazy seeing how far youve come and the quality of your videos and playing your such a beast
Thanks for this! Loved all of it and the opener song was insane! And as a drummer myself I can appreciate how on point you were all around and all the kicks! Super solid! I really appreciated seeing the whole routine! This was really cool to watch because I've wanted to play music big time like that since I was young but I never got that however sometimes I think maybe it was for a good reason. Now married for 9 years and 2 little girls and a drum kit at home and working a steady roofing job for the last 4 years in northern Indiana right by Michigan, I get up early 4:10 am everyday and work outside year round and you know Michigan winters. So it was really cool to see your life style!
your handshakes are so fucking awesome! lmao im so glad i found your channel. your songs hyped me up for my 5 mile HIIT sprint/distance run workout today! cheers bro good luck with everything love your music! hope to see you live at some point!!!
watching your videos have actually inspired me to keep up with my drumming. at 43 sometimes its hard to find the time to practice everyday. somedays i don't have the energy but i watch these tour videos and videos of chad smith playing random stuff and it amps me up to keep it going. I don't wanna be a rockstar, i just want to make music.
I loved this video! Drummer Dre commenting here from After the Horizon. My favorite part was the stick warm-ups and your bands before the show handshake ritual. Our band has something small but it would be cool to make it bigger. Keep rocking! Would love to open for you in Toronto, Canada!
As a fan, I like watching the band onstage having fun and killing it and as a musician when on stage I'm trying my best for the audience and the rest of the band to have fun! Watching you guys RIPPING IT in front of such crowd (20000???), only makes me happier and try to make as better shows as possible in the future! Love your channel man, keep 'em coming!
I don't know why, but... these kinds of videos has a special place in my heart! 🙏❤ I just love watching behind the scenes stuff, and POV's etc of drummers, artists, etc!
I have never listened to metal before and it came up in my feed for drumming. I actually like this. I am 47 years old and i was rocking to this song. It's badass. All parts of it. The melodies and drumming was insane. Good job!
I have never drummed, had interest in drumming, or will be a drummer, but living a performance day through your POV is amazing. I love how silly and snarky you are in the subtitles, it sounds like my own inner thoughts. You're awesome :] Keep it up
Holy shit, that was sick! I've been in some large crowds for meet and greets, but 20000, BRO! Most of us will never see this POV. what a treat to see it through you. Thanks!
This feels like the other side of Matt Horns video, where Matt Horns shows you the back stage, the setup of drums, the load in and load out and all the background stuff, this feels like the other side, the side the drummer sees, they show up to play the show, everything is done, they just have to come and do their side of the job. Its so crazy seeing both sides of the coin.
Dude. I've honestly never heard of your band before seeing these top notch pov videos. But I'll say this you have a new fan. You guys rock. Been a drummer myself for al.ost 30.years. watching these videos just makes me want to take my drumming and my band up.10 notches. Thank you for the great content
Dude! You povs are so inspiring!! Just watching you videos has got me listening to I Prevail. I am a drummer played for some good bands. Had a lot of fun. I’m a bit older than you but this is so motivating! Thank you sir!
Subscribed! If you're watching your stats you'll know I'm a 55-year-old woman. I follow and otherwise click on a lot of drum content because I started drum lessons 9 months ago and want to learn about ALL of it. This was served to me last night. You'll also see that I keep coming back to Body Bag. I'm going to play that some day!
RUclips decided to show me this and I am so happy for it. The show was HUGE! I could feel the emotions even though sitting in my small flat in front of the monitor. Huge! I would love to see more of this!
Love Gabe man.He has been bringing us with him since he first started playing with IPrevail a couple years back and I feel like Im part of the band every time.
Super cool content here man! Kudos for continuing to grind DBO while on tour. Thumbs up on the workout regiment - drumming keeps my arms thinner and my core droopy lmao
As a fellow drummer and music lover, in general, what a unique adventure this was very cool and what a great spot to land on for those shows in Japan. Geez, talk about exposure. happy holidays everyone 👏👏🤘💕
Wow man, this is awesome. Thank you for filming and sharing. Your drumming is insane! This is the sort of world we amateur metal drummers can only dream of🤘so pleased for you boys.
Absolutely! I'm lucky to watching your performed when you come to Jakarta, Indonesia! And now, I always hear your music before I started to work! Thankyou!!!
honestly, this video really made me love drummers, its probably so chill just being in the corner doing your own thing you know, not really the main attraction on stage, but playing a critical role in music, because without drums, music is just dull and boring
3:04 I'm sitting here confused thinking I had a City Planner Plays video in the background with that background song. Love your videos and have been enjoying the POV videos!
Man, i love this type of content, i love seeing you and I Prevail doing some things that we don't see very often, i want you all to be in Chile someday!!!
I love the ritual right before y'all hit the stage, very cult like in a happy go lucky manner 🤣 but even just seeing your warm up routine was amazing!!
This video represents my dream as a drummer, what a great video, brother, keep uploading it because it inspires me to continue as a starting drummer ❤️🤙
Bro the opener being Yoasobi and you also have I Prevail and Bring Me, that sounds like it was an awesome tour. Yoasobi is one of my all time favorite bands, glad they got some spotlight in this video! Awesome video!

@@ronrocker7131 no, it's just the classic "tiktok makes everything bad" dilemma
@@ronrocker7131na, tik tok is just known to ruin music
haha I paused at 4:50 because i thought the EXACT same thing like: wait, that singer sounds awfully familiar! 🤣

i was gonna say its nice to have both perspectives. Now you can watch matts videos on being a drum tech and this video on the drummers pov. even if it's not the same band.
