Jackson began back in the late 1970s, when heavy music experienced a flamboyant and virtuosic resurgence in popularity and a small Southern California guitar repair shop became the epicenter of a new level of shred-approved excellence. Ever since then, Jackson guitars have been universally lauded as the metal guitars; the shred machines-highly original high-performance instruments of distinctive style and formidable substance. From metal’s chart-topping peaks to its darkest recesses, for discerning guitarists all over the globe, Jackson is the only way to go.

big fan of star bodied guitars, this is indeed a must have
Never tried a star shaped body but I have a B.C.Rich warlock gotta love it
Jackson guitars are so nice especially the USA Custom Shop ones Mike Shannon is legendary!!👍😊😀😎🎸😷
just bought one, it arrived today and i love it! EDIT I got the cheap one (JS) and it still rocks! and to be totaly honest i got it just because i felt in love with Star body because of Chris Holmes from W.A.S.P. so thank you Gus for making it possible for me to get one!
Nice, I've always been a big fan of the star shape especially with players that have used it like evh, akira takasaki, and like you mentioned chris holmes, I am planning to trade my js32 kelly with one my friend's js32 gus g star next week and I can't wait.
I got a JS for christmas this year and im LOVING it
I believe no matter what, he puts it down to his soul to whatever he chooses to do... And so much n more for his signature guitars as well. So...💕🤩
I was at the show where he broke the string! It was in Anaheim ca. His guitar tech handed him the apple candy red guitar but he just kept playing with the star shape!
00:06 I genuinely thought his guitar's headstock was tricking my eyes with the other guitar in the background
Gus has one of my favorite metal tones ever..
2 Jackson’s and counting! ☠️☠️☠️🤘🏻
5:37 Is it just me, or does it sound like something isn't quite grounded correctly? Like a cable isn't quite plugged in all the way?
It's those steel pickups, they always have that sound. I'm not a fan of them because of it
@@deshondetoro1638 they definitely do not always have that sound. I have chrome covers on my guitar's pickups too and they sound normal, there was definitely some grounding issue going on in the video
just beauty, guitar of my dreams.
I wanted to ask something. Jackson guitars are smallest than the other brands of electric guitars? Like ibanez?
I dig the ivory color
Awesome guitars!
I fkn loved this one - like every other Jackson ax! Being a non-US resident it pains me to see the lack of such beautiful guitars here. Also, the JS series variants are so damn affordable too! It's a shame already Jackson guitars are extremely rare here, but the fact that even the older, existing ones retail for at least 20% higher than the original price is a travesty.
Where are u from
👌🤘🎸
02:20 ah, didn't know Gus G was the owner of Blackfire
Smart move making it in a JS variant. Get the guitars into young hands and you'll have a bunch of life long fans...
Please make a Chris Holmes he has been a Jackson staple since 80s
Tem + BR aqui??? Vim pra sentir o timbre dessa guitarra!!!! #jacksonmelhortimbreever!!!!
Why do I see this in one of the shops and it says made in China? I thought the Pro version are made in the USA
You probably bought the JS32 version.
@@Highrollinhunter no the JS32 is a different one.. see here www.sweelee.com.sg/products/jackson-pro-series-gus-g-signature-star-electric-guitar-ivory?variant=32864603373591¤cy=SGD&gclid=Cj0KCQjw9O6HBhCrARIsADx5qCTXSmTqKUSPayIMm5qSZqLQ41PpaIZpIS4flrEk0kVApCHywe-k0i0aArexEALw_wcB
Why they gotta put the obnoxiously large inlays on the import models...
I love Gus but his USA one the body is alder and his Pro is Mahogany. Huge difference in tone
#MarcSnowatJackson
😢 that was a good idea
Even the pro series model is made in China? For $1150? Yikes...
I would be hard pressed to find a less attractive guitar. Jacksons are great, I'm sure they play really well, and Gus G is a formidable axeman, but I do not think I would enjoy owning that guitar. Different strokes for different folks. Didnt EVH cut up Chris Holmes Ibanez destroyer just like this, and they said the cut and missing wood had an adverse effect on the tone and after that the guitar was declared ruined? Interesting heavy metal folk tale, check it out, find out if I'm lying.
He had a gig during a plandemic??
