Imagine driving that, say, on a road by the Pacific coast, or probably even on the valleys. Backdrop of sea, hills, or even the vineyards, the setting sun casting a golden hue and dark shadows on everything, giving the view a sort of "chiaroscuro" effect, like a Renaissance or Baroque painting. Probably the sights, the sound, and the feel, it just makes you want to keep driving around...
Or just anywhere in Italy.....i had a Dino and here in the UK you cannot leave it anywhere where you can't see it at all times and everyone calls you horrible names as you pass by. In Italy I was cheered by onlookers, well wishers, clapping, pleasantries - all from wonderful people who just loved it for what its. Italian art.
@@nelsonclub7722 I'm going to guess every road trip with the Dino invariably ends in Italy...
@@jcgabriel1569 It should as you rightly say. I have.a Maserati 4200 Gransport now which makes a lot more sense - however just a quick one - the last epic trip the Dino made was with Ferrari Club GB to Monaco (a few fell along the way) to watch the 2001 Grand Prix - parking in Monaco is next to impossible on the best of days - and on race day the best thing to do is forget it - but I saw this spot outside a Hotel - just big enough but almost in the doorway. I asked the Concierge if it was ok to park here and this is what she said. "Monsieur. Wiz car like zis in Monte Carlo; on race day you park anywhere you please to!!". Later after the race we got back to the car and there were half a dozen people swarming round it taking photographs with their family and friends against the car. When I started it up - always a drama moment as the V6 on those is quite rorty - the Hotel manager came out waving and shouting. Confused and thinking something dreadful was wrong I switched it off and got out. He explained to me that the car had been a huge attraction during the day and he had had wonderful business all day with lunches and coffee and would it be possible for me to leave it there for the evening.Of course I said yes and then next he invited us to complimentary dinner. Because of the copious amounts of wine and other alcohol imbibed during the evening I left it there all night and went to pick it up at lunchtime the next day where I discovered that the entire car had been given the most wonderful of cleans it had ever had. As a photographer I of course took some pictures of all of the front of house staff as a set up shot with the promise of sending it to on to him which I did. Which brings me back to the point - The European Continentals no matter whether rich or impoverished just love beautiful cars and make no judgement of you first.

@@KidstonProductions yep. and when you do its been there so long the octane is lower than the 95 anyway. one of the reasons i prefer to get fresh 98 in CH than 100 where you can find it in italy. of course you put an additive in....

Se non la vendono da nessuna parte vicino al restauratore non è facile. Ma c'è l'addittivo
