RIP Cliff he is all I see when listening to early Metallica unless Dave Mustaine is involved, James and lars are the only constant and god damn kirk is a badass but its not the same without Cliff .
Yuppers.... Yes True. I saw them Live in 86.. Open for Ozzy. Wichita Ks... A Wild Ride of the Lightning indeed... Yes I saw Cliff perform....still shock he is gone..
Just to add. When wolf hunters played Panthers they didn't say rest in peace for the brothers vinnie Paul drummer and dime bag Darrell guitar. Rest in peace Brothers of metal!!!!!
Sorry, but you spelled Panthers but I'm sure you meant Pantera. And yes RIP to Vinnie and Dimebag. He was one of the greatest metal guitarists ever in the history of metal. James is awesome, but hands down Dimebag was the best.
How about something a little different but still Metal: "Wolf Totem" by The Hu, "Kai Tangata" by Alien Weaponry, -Both bands sing in their countries native language so be sure to have an english translation handy although the Musicians are of such a great quality that you get a pretty good idea what they're singing about. Both bands languages actually suit the "Metal" sound, they sound hard & feisty! I feel so proud of the young fellows from "Alien Weaponry". They are still very young but have been playing together for quite a while now, in New Zealand they are like National hero's. We come from just a small population of 4.5 million people so anything that happens to a NZer oversea's is Huge to us. Thanks for your reactions.
Goes to show how great of a bassist Cliff Burton was. I always wondered what Metalica would have become if Cliff Survived their tour bus accident while touring Master Puppets in Europe. At least his greatness would be forever imortalized with his performances on "Master of Puppets", "Ride the Lightning" and "Kill them All" albums. I have a hard time seeing Cliff agreeing to the material that came after that.
He would've agreed with it. Remember Cliff was not your typical headbanger. He was into everything from The Misfits to Simon and Garfunkel and R.E.M. He wouldn't have agreed with the image of Load and Reload, but he would've agreed with the music.
And in about 14 months later, more or less, Cliff Burton dies. It always makes me a bit sad seeing these old recordings, even if I'm at this point only was a about 1 year old.
Late Cliff Burton on Bass! I just heard Metallica yesterday on Howard Stern's show on Sirius/XM. They are scheduled to play virtual concert via some of Drive In Theaters. James, Lars, Kirk and Robert gotten up early to be on Stern's show. Back to this video, Cliff's appearance was before Metallica's ill fated bus accident that killed Cliff in Sweden on Sept. 27,1986 at the age of 24. That's how Jason Newsted became Metallica's next Bassist. As a tribute, Metallica wrote song, To Live Is To Die on 1988's ....And Justice for All album.
Great job with your reaction to Ride The Lighting from Metallica 🤘🤘 Second l love the blue hair color looks Awesome and your blue eyes are beautiful girl . Next band you should check out is The legons Pantera . Domination live from Moscow 91 .
If you guys liked Cliff on the bass guitar in this song, check out For Whom The Bell Tolls, same concert. Day on the green 1985, Cliff absolutely makes his bass guitar scream during the intro, never before this song was released had I ever heard a bass sound like this. Not only that, this song is bada$$. Check it out, react to it if you like, if not, just experience it. It's amazing!!!🔥🔥🔥
“I didn't write all of the music in 'Ride The Lightning'. Lars wrote the melodic intro, and then the next part I wrote and then the next part I wrote and then the next part and then it went back to his part and then it went back to my next three parts and then at that point... who's keeping score?” - Mustaine
I Don’t Know If You guys Ever Heard of Kittie A Full female band. You Guys Should Make A reaction to them! Maybe Jonny. But of You want A video try: brakish. They are awesome and Unique!
Uuff I love this era of metallica with Cliff r.i.p. react to other songs with Cliff: For whom the bells toll, Crepping death, Whiplash, Anestesia... and after him too. Seattle ´89 those songs are ...Blackened, ...And justice for all, The thing that should not be, Master of puppets, Battery...
Ahhh back in the day when Lars could still play the drums. If you want a laugh search Lars screws up on RUclips and be blown away by a musician who has no fear of being replaced because he owns the name of the band.
Can you guys do Metallica live at Bing and Purge Seattle 89, fade to Black, for whom the bell tolls. Maybe the best live performance I have seen. You want be disappointed. It is so bad ass. I would love to see your reaction to this live performance! D DAY DAVE.
Ahh, Metallica... Back when James was baby faced.
But the Music was fuckin awesome... unlike today lol
James is a man among men. Even young James.
This was back when James was saying he didn't want to play solos because they interfered with his drinking.
RIP Cliff he is all I see when listening to early Metallica unless Dave Mustaine is involved, James and lars are the only constant and god damn kirk is a badass but its not the same without Cliff .

Metallica is one of the few bands that got so much better as time went on
I was at this show in the pit. Yngwie Malmsteen opened the show. Metallica came on next. Then Y&T. Then Ratt. The Scorpions were the headliner.
Cliff Burton bass solo Anesthesia pulling teeth ! You won’t regret ..

Metallica is ALWAYS a good choice. Can't go wrong with Metallica.
this is great but the sound guy really dropped the ball on the recording, he seems like he recorded the wrong cabinets.
For great recent live Metallica you have to react to "Fight fire with Fire" live in Mexico 2009. It's insane
