    This is an EQE 43 AMG not the regular EQE version. EQE 350+ is less sporty. Cupholders in the back - you need to push two times for them to pop out. The way you showd us is ment to mount phones.

    I will be very interested to get a test drive in one of these when they launch in the UK later this year. I'll also be very interested to see what the EQC will be like when it's launched. This may be a more realistic option price-wise. Do you know if Mercedes intend to make an A class sedan EV?

    Worth seeing in person. Saw one the other day and looks great but the front "grill" will take some getting used to (not as much as the iX). The rear boot opener opening to show the camera is a bit odd as an observer, looks like the owner forgot to close it or it is broken. The person reverse parking it was obviously getting used to the car as they did about a 7 point turn even though no cars around. I think they'll sell a lot especially in Europe.

    Definitely large on the outside and plenty of legroom on the inside. But it's very cramped in the head area, so you almost have to duck down if you want to see the sky out of the side windows. (I also hate this with the Audi A4 Avant) And the trunk is a bit short for the length of the vehicle.
    I'm definitely not the target group, but I'm sure there will be some who like this car. EQE looks better than EQS in my opinion.

    Fun, the right side is the right side for charging, like was the fuel valve in a fossil car. You want to be at the protected side in countries where they drive at the right side of the road, which is still the case in 70% of the planet. The charge port at the left side is only logical in countries where they drive left.

    The interior screen graphical user interface design reminds me of the early screen design that is mimicking 'real' buttons and depth; skeuomorphic design. Feels terribly outdated to me. Am I alone in this opinion?

    • @ATommy-lz4jd
      @ATommy-lz4jd 2 года назад +2

      I too think so. There is no need to make „fake virtual buttons“. When it's a touch screen the design possibilities a button is endless and if thought out right can be made even more intuitively than a physical button, may be with size changing or highlighting of buttons depending on use case. . It doesn't have to be limited to something which is a look alike of a physical button.
