I like how this guy just explains common sense approach weight lifting, no trendy c rap, no egotistical undertone attempting to hide, no debate over 15 different opinions on what. " the best chest workout is",, great video, which is why I instantly subscribed.

Im enjoying watching and learning these short on time series. I come from mainly a powerlifting background but working as an Industrial Electrician, i cant afford to get injuried. Over the last year ive put in alot of hours at work and often find myself too exhuasted to train, doing so I lost 35 lbs. Of muscle, of course my diet drastically slipped too as working long days i havent focused on eating as I always have. Thank you for giving me motivation and solutions to my training dilemma!

One of the ways my buddy and I make a bench press "heavier" is we bend our knees and put our feet up so they're basically on the bench seat. It takes hip drive out of the movement and puts all of the weight on your chest.

You want dense try rest and pause old school. It's done as a last exercise for the given group. Pick up weight 10 RM drop 20 %. Now do 10, 9, 8, etc all the way to last one and on the last one all the way out. RI 10 seconds. Not 9 or 11 , TEN. One run only. After that you can call paramedics.

Love your videos, knowledge and insight. I’m curious, are you familiar with Doug Brignole and his perspective on chest training? The research he presents states that decline presses, specifically with dumbbells, are the best movement for overall pec development. I’ve read various EMG studies that support Doug’s opinion, and based on my own experience, decline dumbbell presses yielded the best results. I made the best progress by removing incline movements entirely from my chest routine and focusing on decline with some flat.
