    John Meadows is an American professional bodybuilder and entrepreneur with an intriguing story. While John now boasts a successful career as an IFBB Pro bodybuilder and fitness company owner, his journey towards the top was extremely difficult.
    Growing up, John never met his father, and his mother died at an extremely young age. This meant John only had his grandmother to take care of him. When his grandmother tragically passed away in 1999, John was left alone without his family to support him.
    As the years went by, John continued to face new adversities in his life. During his early days in bodybuilding, John suffered from a rare colon disease. After fighting the disease for several months, his colon burst - almost resulting in his death. Luckily, John was quickly rushed to an emergency room where his life was saved. After several months of recovery, John was finally back on his feet.
    Coming back into bodybuilding, John used the very obstacles that almost cost him his life as ‘fuel’ to grow stronger. Ever since he recovered from the colon surgery, John has gone on to become a successful bodybuilder, entrepreneur, and inspiration for many people all over the world.

    John, first of all love the videos! Looking for some advice. My forearms kill me whenever I want to go heavy on back. Especially pulldowns, pull-ups, basically anything with a pronated grip. I thought maybe I was overtrained so I took 2 weeks off from any back or bi's. Worked back into it easy and it's still there. Been this way for over 2 months. Do I need to train forearms harder so they can keep up, what's the deal?

    That kettlebell overhand grip flared elbow bent over row that you showed in an earlier video is a good proxy for the rhomboid/rear delt/mid trap row. Nice thing is that you don't have to go so heavy that it kills your lower back, but man that T-bar row always fatigues my spinal erectors at least as much as my lats. Why both the T-bar and the cable rows if you're short on time?

    • @mountaindog1
      @mountaindog1  5 лет назад +1

      the cable rows is really just one hard set, and the tbars we arent setting any PR's really so I think we are good to go, I actually did it again today I liked it so much...

    Hey John, is it ok to start your back workout (once warmed up) with unassisted pull ups? I can do about 7 pull ups correctly, unassisted now. I usually do 3 sets and then continue to my other back exercises. Would I get more out of doing the cables or pull downs first? I don’t see too many people doing pull ups first. Just want to make sure I’m not defeating myself any more than I have in the past lol thanks.
