      @@decklanburkhart8113 hey man.. Does the DRL indicator shows when beam light are burnt or wires not connected properly.. Cause my left headlight was burnt and i replaced it works but still show DRL... I guess its the beam light

    • @decklanburkhart8113
      @decklanburkhart8113  4 года назад +1

      @@waltergutierrez464 the DRL light on the dash would probably turn on for either or those situations. Are the lights working as the DRL and high beams correctly? If they are working I wonder if you disconnect the battery for 5 minutes and reconnect it if it will reset the DRL light? You shouldn't have to do that though it should go off after a short time of the new light working correctly.

    Looking for tips to change the passenger side directional bulb. Omg its near impossible to reach! Im at a loss as to how to access it. Ughh

    • @twofrchris
      @twofrchris 3 года назад

      You have to turn the tire to the left first. Then take like 3 clips that hold in a part of the fender liner out. Kinda get your hand in and separate the liner from the bumper. The signal bulb is closest to the bumper. You put you hand in and feel for a wire and follow it up until you feel plastic and turn it left. I pulled the bulb out of the fender liner and changed it. I wish i could show you how to get your hand in and feel for it but hope it helps. I had a hard time to but take your time.

      DLR*

    • @decklanburkhart8113
      @decklanburkhart8113  4 года назад

      Yeah it went away, I forget but it might have taken a few minutes of driving. If it doesn't go away in your circumstance you can try disconnecting the negative battery cable for a few minutes and then reconnect it.

    what wattage rating was on the nokya yellow bulb? stock says to use 61 watt High beam headlight: 60 W (HB3)
    1) it doesn't flicker on u when used as DRLs? thats the problem most have when u change DRLs bulbs from stock

    • @decklanburkhart8113

    Will this effect you’re car battery my dlr light is on

    • @decklanburkhart8113
      @decklanburkhart8113  3 года назад +1

      Changing to different bulbs within spec won’t effect car battery. If your drl light is on on the dash you most likely have a drl light out. Best way to tell is to turn your car on and look for the light bulb closest to the Honda badge on the front on either side is out. Or you can turn your high beams on and look as well. If a bulb is out it shouldn’t effect the battery in a negative way.

    How is the quality? Is the bulb glass painted? Like some cheap bulb would it peel with time? Or is it tinted glass?

    • @decklanburkhart8113
      @decklanburkhart8113  5 лет назад

      Tinted glass. Thwy are actually still doing great. I might go to some silvana silverstars but overall for what they are for they work great.

      Thanks, i was just looking at nokya, i use LED for headlights, unfortunately led are not used to DRL/high beam. I have to keep it halogen but i want the white lighting not that yellowish look

    how long has it been?

    • @decklanburkhart8113
      @decklanburkhart8113  7 лет назад +2

      michael diaz they are great. they have worked flawlessly for a long time. due to the fact that they are yellow they don't use the most efficient kind of light so even though they are great bulbs they act alot like a flood beam then a pencil beam of silver stars. I love the light they put out and for the money they aren't bad at all

      Taffeta White FG1 they are worth it! I did find out that they work very well driving in snow. Somehow the yellow light kinda let's you see the road better and see where snow or ice is on the road and where it's clear if that makes sense
