I watch both BA and Tasty, but what makes BA different is how everyone is a family and everyone is involved in the process. Tasty Is just one person in a professional set up. It's a whole company and a production. The BA kitchen is so warm and they just feel like family you've never met.
Claire!!! "Adult Baby Food" is actually super useful for older adults who can't swallow properly and are on a pureed/thickened diet. And considering how most pureed foods ...are... in nursing homes (most patients I know hate it or are embarrassed by it) it'd be a *really* great idea to make that better/healthier/even gourmet, to bring the fun back into food for those people and give them a confidence boost!! It's a really great idea and I highly recommend considering that sort of product.
You know, that would be an interesting challenge. I could also see something like this, if you can get it reasonably shelf-stable, in the meal-replacement/workout-snack market. Depending on the texture and price-point, I could totally dig a savory "go-gurt" style pouch instead of a protein bar.
If I may add ,It would be great to also make ABF in everyday meals or things they can’t have much anymore like ,cheese cake or steak or fruit salad ,that would be like you said very heathy and also let’s them be able to taste what they couldn’t eat anymore now ,it would be the best idea ever omg And not just older elderly maybe it could be for adults who are always on the go or have diets like Keto that they need to watch what they eat or don’t want to spend money on the thing they want to eat when they could just buy a jar of it ,honestly the possibilities are endless lol
My grandpa was on this diet for a while in the nursing home. He had a few seizures through out the past five years and last year they discovered he had also had a mini stroke. He hated the food in the nursing home and just the fact that you brought this up makes me happy that you are thinking of these people. My grandpa passed away January of this year but we lost him long before that after he had that first seizure many years ago. I watched my mom feed him in the nursing home and wished nothing more than for something to bring him joy again. Thank you again for bringing this up, I hope someone acts upon it so that older people can enjoy their lives like they did before when they had better health. ❤️
Queenz Yes, every time I go to the mall which is only a couple times per year lol. I stop into Godiva Chocolate and get a gourmet Ferraro Rocher omg so delicious very expensive it’s like $3 for 1
Love how she's rigging more and more of their utensils. And it's just funny thinking about her keeping them in a cabinet for future use, like anybody needs a pasta curler? Claire's your girl!
I was thinking just before that "you gotta cut one of those racks and interleave the spokes!" and was so happy when she finally went toward "okay, so I really need to take the end off this rack. How do I do that?". I had an idea though for how to more automatically get the weaving done. Drape the noodles over one rack, push the points of the modified rack up between the spokes of the draping rack, then angle those points down until the racks are parallel and the noodles are woven between.
Bon Appétit videos are my new obsession during this quarantine. I feel like I personally know all these chefs now after binge-watching all this channel. Everyone is wonderful. Thank you for saving me in this weird time!!
I feel those would be easy for her, she'd probably just super thin slice a potato and use the dehydrator to make them crispy while doing it on a mold of some sort.
Trystan Shyre not really, they’re so different from normal crisps and unlike most they are not majority potato, they’re taste almost like there is no potato used... that’s just my opinion tho, I understand what you mean tho
This is awesome. Very akin to the process of scientist in a lab, trying to figure out how to make something work. it’s frustrating, it takes forever, you try it a million times, people chime in with knowledge and help. 8 hrs of this in a science lab, everyday. that’s my life, except we can’t eat final product .
This honestly might be the best episode of gourmet makes. She actually made the product better, instead of trying to make a replica. The only thing missing is Brad, but he was at least mentioned. Also, his absence may have been better for Claire because he often comes with many complaints. I know i'm late with this comment but I felt I needed to express the greatness of this!
This was an exhausting video. Thanks for putting in all the effort. The summary at the end gave all the trials a structure. Although you didn't mention the measurements for the other aromatics you added (celary salt etc). It would be nice if you did. This could be a good reference video to ramen! Thanks Claire😍
I just wanna say thank you to Claire and BA. This series' results are always amazing, but the trial and error that goes into them seems crazy stressful. Awesome job, gang!
I don't think their job doesn't apply restauration charts, I mean their business is like 80% cooking so they should legally be some kind of restaurant staff. So the contracts usually don't care about extra hours of work since it's a unique line of work. Shouldn't get night hours extras either, since almost everyone finishes around 11PM. Unless Americans law regarding CHR (Cafe hotel restaurant) businesses doesn't differenciate from regular jobs, but that would be stupid as hell.

I really like Chris - he was so genuinly excited about the spice mixture and the vaccuum sealed packages.
I watch both BA and Tasty, but what makes BA different is how everyone is a family and everyone is involved in the process. Tasty Is just one person in a professional set up. It's a whole company and a production. The BA kitchen is so warm and they just feel like family you've never met.
cant find a more hard working woman with a never giving up attitude............ huge fan claire.........
Brad is in Italy presumably eating fresh pasta, and Claire is making instant ramen.
This seems backwards somehow.
LMAO
If you think Brad isn't eating fermented pasta you're off your rocker, friend.
@@PerMortensen "this is the best way to eat pasta vinny"
@TrickZzZ I mean, clearly. I was talking quality of food.
Right?????? Claire's Instagram is like fresh pasta, baked yummy goods everywhere xD
Can you make Gourmet Totino’s Pizza Rolls next? 🍕
lol
Solid
Wouldn't that just be a gourmet mini calzone?
Genius

when she said “what’s an air fryer?” I know this video had to be older 😂
That shot w the sun was glorious.
Completely agree
And now I have a song by the Glorious Sons in my head lol

Depending on the texture and price-point, I could totally dig a savory "go-gurt" style pouch instead of a protein bar.
it's a thing in Japan, there's whole food science kitchens dedicated to replicating traditional dishes that don't require chewing
If I may add ,It would be great to also make ABF in everyday meals or things they can’t have much anymore like ,cheese cake or steak or fruit salad ,that would be like you said very heathy and also let’s them be able to taste what they couldn’t eat anymore now ,it would be the best idea ever omg
And not just older elderly maybe it could be for adults who are always on the go or have diets like Keto that they need to watch what they eat or don’t want to spend money on the thing they want to eat when they could just buy a jar of it ,honestly the possibilities are endless lol
Isabella Villano smh
You should make gourmet Ferroro Rochers !!!
That is an absolutely fantastic idea!
That's sounds really cool!
Queenz Yes, every time I go to the mall which is only a couple times per year lol. I stop into Godiva Chocolate and get a gourmet Ferraro Rocher omg so delicious very expensive it’s like $3 for 1
Hello, I think you I love having
Ferrero*
I watch this knowing the only thing I’m dehydrating is myself
Someone get Claire her own channel or tv show please
I thought that she left BA to do that
Mike Fleet I thought she left to move to Alaska, but never heard why!
No she has her own RUclips channel. Just look up her name
She's so beautiful, talented and detailed in her approach.
@@NewfieLawNerd She left??
You know Claire is frustrated with a challenge when she says, "I'm just going to do exactly what Chris said."
21:43 Chris complimenting her vacuum sealing idea is so great, he really makes sure her efforts feel appreciated and i appreciate that
Amiel: “I see what you’re saying.”
Claire: “What am I saying?”
that’s probably one of the most meirl moments to come out of this entire channel
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Whatever they pay Claire, it’s not enough.
I mean Claire gets the most views on the channel. I'd hope they pay her a large sum.
Love how she's rigging more and more of their utensils. And it's just funny thinking about her keeping them in a cabinet for future use, like anybody needs a pasta curler? Claire's your girl!
She's just repurposing the equipment. Bon Appetit magazine can afford it.
Video should be titled
"Claire is on the verge of tears for 25 mins"
thats like,,, all of her videos
no the series should be named that lmao
I'm really surprised that she didn't break out a stand mixer
This is pretty tame compared to some of the others.
Ain’t that all her videos tho
Bon Appétit videos are my new obsession during this quarantine. I feel like I personally know all these chefs now after binge-watching all this channel. Everyone is wonderful. Thank you for saving me in this weird time!!
Can you sell your soup base. We want Claire’s soup.

Gourmet ramen is me using Evian water or Fiji instead of tap
i use bleach in mine
Omg you're literally everywhere!! wtf I guess that means I'm everywhere too then...
You know bottled water in 38 of the us states is actually WORSE than tap bc it doesn't have as many regulations
but thats not true
Me too
i would watch Claire cook air
Lan Grace same dude
There are people who would like to watch her cook turds.
Same x2
honestly that would be pretty interesting... I would be lmao
Chris: the texture is so springy!

Love the positive reinforcement from your colleagues in this one.
I need Claire to make Gourmet Pringles...
I second
Same I but like how? 😂
It's Claire she'll find a way
omg yess
I feel those would be easy for her, she'd probably just super thin slice a potato and use the dehydrator to make them crispy while doing it on a mold of some sort.
Trystan Shyre not really, they’re so different from normal crisps and unlike most they are not majority potato, they’re taste almost like there is no potato used... that’s just my opinion tho, I understand what you mean tho
This is awesome. Very akin to the process of scientist in a lab, trying to figure out how to make something work. it’s frustrating, it takes forever, you try it a million times, people chime in with knowledge and help. 8 hrs of this in a science lab, everyday. that’s my life, except we can’t eat final product .
well you COULD eat your final product if you wanted to
You should watch Alex French Guy Cooking. He puts cooking and science/engineering together to make awesome videos!
All of the ramen is gone at my local stores. Guess I’ll have to do this instead
I was just scrolling through the off-putting and somewhat creepy "recent" comments and- and then I saw this…
🌟
When is she going to recreate Pringles?🤔
Petur k that’s probably too easy
When is she going to recreate Funnyons, or Flaming hot Cheetohs. Cause that's what I wanna know.
But like her very own flavor
Petur k I know right-aman
@@hopesy12u4 she already did cheetos

Please make strawberry frosted poptarts in an upcoming episode!
pop tarts is a very, very good idea
Any type of Poptart but Smores would be so good!!
Yasss!
Either strawberry or cinnamon sugar
Strawberry but unfrosted.
Should have checked out Alex French Guy Cooking, he did a tutorial about this how to make at home instant Ramen. 🍜
Or you could eat them the hard core way:
Boil water
Eat the noodles hard
Chug the boiling water
Snort the flavour
You are a man of quality
Lol
@David Shaw Roll the package into a straw to snort the flavor packet
That turned me on
chug boiling water... no problem
snort the flavor.... easy
but, don't make me eat the noodles dry
I just wanna say thank you to Claire and BA. This series' results are always amazing, but the trial and error that goes into them seems crazy stressful. Awesome job, gang!
Her energy is radiating nothing but happiness .. love watching her.

don't we all?

lol how much overtime does Claire get because of this series
none she's probably salaried.
Definitely salary.
