    Even seeing a wolverine from 100 meters is rare . If you should come upon their den or food cache , stay far away from it .

      I've seen a wolverine, during summer months, each of the last four years in southern Montana. First one crossed the hiking trail I was on about 10 yards in front of me. It took about 4 seconds to disappear into the thick brush. None of the critters wanted to stick around for a second look at me.

      They're pretty feisty creatures.. don't think I've ever seen a domesticated one but theres a first time for everything.
