I think he had to make others laugh to deal with his pain as a way of coping/sustaining by giving back so if he wasn't happy he at least wanted others to be. Richard Pryor had a very painful childhood & many painful years, but could have you on the floor laughing with his comedic genius.

Robin Williams was an absolute master of human connection, there's truly nothing like laughing with someone, when you get a joke with someone it is the fastest free way out of being strangers, there's really nothing like sharing a laugh that tears away all of the ego. People don't look good when they laugh it's like everything gets ripped apart and you're exposed to someone and what you think is funny and someone else who thinks that same thing is funny and you connect eyes in the middle of that space there really is nothing like that in human connection. Robin Williams was an absolute master of human connection, there's truly nothing like laughing with someone, when you get a joke with someone it is the fastest free way out of being strangers, there's really nothing like sharing a laugh that tears away all of the ego. People don't look good when they laugh it's like everything gets ripped apart and you're exposed to someone and what you think is funny and someone else who thinks that same thing is funny and you connect eyes in the middle of that space there really is nothing like that in human connection.

Depression is something extremely disqusting. Comes from nowhere and its like the cockroaches, its hard to get away from it. You get up with it, you go to sleep with it. Its even in your dreams. One of the reasons is the stress. Please guys avoid stress. That thing is making change in the work of the brain. One of the biggest things growing up in the hood was to make it out and be someone great. Will Smith display that greatness and this is a fact. I witness many people call him wack and corny.
