I still rewatch this show constantly, bought the DVD collection back when Future Store existed, and havent regretted it since. I also bought the full dave chapelle show for like 30 bucks, even then I thought it would be gold in the future, and it is.

I watched this reunion. The most emotional parts were when they paid homage to James Avery, and Will and Janet working out their differences. These made me cry. Very mature on both their parts. Because it wouldn't be the same without Janet. She was the best Vivian and I'm glad she came and they had her there. WTG, Will and Janet!

I'm so glad Janet came along. It's really good to see them talk like adults, not judging each other for their actions, understanding each others positions and if not forgiving and forgetting, at least moving on.

This was legendary. Not ever again in a hundred years will there be another cast like this. Heck, even after 30 years there hasn't been a show that came close. I feel like this show will be watched by humans far in the future and they'd be like "wow, good times."

@@headlessbeatz4015 Ohh never saw that. But I gotta be honest, when it comes to family sitcoms or shows, the cast is mostly really awesome, but only the Fresh Prince feels wholesome somehow. For example, I also think "White Collar" has an AMAZING cast with the absolute perfect harmony, as seen on screen and in backstage videos. Friends has been my favourite show for like 16 or 17 years now and I love the cast but somehow to me it was always a little off with them. I am sure they somehow all got along and all but with them I never got the wholesome feeling I get with the Fresh Prince cast.

I don't really say this often unless I truly mean it, but this is a great example of the term "Black Excellence". They created art that's respected and will live on for generations to come, a show that tackled many issues and showed a black family that lived in wealth. Great to see that they are still in touch and seem to be good friends today (most of them).

The final episode aired 9 years before I was born but my dad binge watched the entire series with me when I was 8 or 9 and I loved it.

Uncle Phil is probably one of my favorite characters on the show. It's so noticable not seeing his presence...but we shouldn't be sad, we should be happy with all the laughs and lessons he taught us and Will.
The best part of all of this was when the two Aunt Viv's met for the first time.

Maybe it’s just me but it seems like the writers originally planned to have Will be the amazing dancer and Carlton was an awful dancer. But sometime around the end of Season 2 / beginning of Season 3, they switched it around so Carlton was the amazing dancer.
Which makes sense. Because Alfonso is a trained dancer.

Una de tatas series que me deja con un vacío en el corazón cuando termino de verla, no solo por su trama, o personajes, sino también por lo que enseñan. Ahora termine de ver el último capítulo de la última temporada, y es la 4 vez que la veo (dejo que pase un par de años o menos para volverla a ver). Es bueno ver que el elenco aún están vivos y activos, y me entristeció la muerte del tío Phil. Qué que bien que se reconciliaron con la tía Vivan.
Pocas series como está se pueden ver hoy en día, y me atrevo a decir que es escaso ver series con esa calidad en la actualidad.
Gracias por gran serie.
