I bought a Micra for my wife at a gunshow a few decades ago. The seller bought small pocket carry items at TSA auctions, then refurbished and sold them at the shows. Since he only wanted $10 for it, it ended up as a Christmas present. She quit carrying it, and I picked it up. I have multiple different things I carry, and the Micra is easily the most reached for tool.
I’m a Vic fanboy but I would go for the Micra. The Minichamp has a lot of redundant tools. There’s nothing that you can do with a Minichamp that you couldn’t do with a Manager, Rambler or Midnite Manager (depending on needs). I would choose any of those three over the Micra though.
I have both and reluctantly agree with the tie for scissors for no other reason that, while the leatherman’s are a more convenient size (and on the tool I carry daily), the victorinox just work better. It’s very frustrating, I have many of both brands. I usually prefer the tool set on my leatherman multi tools (micro, wave, surge, P4), but the victorinox scissors always consistently work better.
I dont know why this is in my recommendations, but i saw Micra and it is quite inconvenient. Good scissors, but it is easy to hurt your own hand just when you unfold the tool. Squirt, on contrary, is an awesome little tool, well built, safe and convenient.

That's a bargain for $10. Great purchase! 👍
I've been carrying Micra since 2005. Already 19 years and still do the job...
Nice!!! 👍
Scissors on Micro are far more useful and quality is a wash. I have both and never carry the mini-champ
I do find myself using the Micra scissors far more, that's for sure.

All those you mentioned are great choices. Thanks for sharing. 👍

Opening Amazon packages...what a life !!!
Great video, thanks.
I have the Midnite Mini Champ and like it. But both are so small I would edc both if I had one Leatherman Micro.
Thanks for your comment. Midnite Mini Champ is a great choice too 👍
MiniChamp
Albo Nextool Mini Sailor?
That's a great choice too 👍
A tie for scissors... come on.
Which is the winner for you?
You pumped and dumped the champ 😂
