The thing that makes Butterfree fun for me is the ability “compound eyes” which increases its accuracy by 1.3x which is something be be taken advantage of. I have had a lot of fun using a butterfree with: 1. Psychic 2. Shadow ball 3. Stun spore 4. Supersonic You can try building butterfree strong enough to one shot but your best bet is to focus speed/defenses to get off a paralysis/confused state and chip away
Honestly, idk why they didn't make Butterfree Bug/Psychic. It would still be bad compared to the other Psychic types (due to stats and not learning Psychic by level-up) but it would at least be usable in a normal playthrough without EV grinding.
Funny enough I actually used a Butterfree seriously when playing Leafgreen again recently. Wasn't great but did (barely) got passed Agatha's Gengars and Haunters using a strategy of Sleep Powder and Dream Eater.
Parasect White Knighting!! While I wouldn't recommend it for actual battles, Parasect in the later games can be "pretty useful" with access to both Spore and False swipe.
Lol i used a farfetch'd for a little as a joke when i went through fire red and it actually ended up being better than everything on my team because of its reliable moves and double xp
@@LittleAl016 in kanto/gen 3?? parasect isnt... really a good pokemon until leech life got its buff in gen /7/. And a lot of parasects stats are Poopy Diapers. Farfetch'd is okay early game, but since its stats are so low its hard to carry into the late game.
Kingler is amazing! Yeah he sucks for sp attack which is how you have him set but as pure physical attacker it's the best I've been able to crush the whole game with just a strong kingler if used right I think it's the best Pokemon in the game
If you ask me, I think a better set for Farfetch'd would be: Fly Swords Dance Agility Steel Wing/Slash With just one Agility, it pretty much outspeeds anything, and you use Swords Dance to stack up for the Murder Spree he'll have
Idk how this happened, but I decided to start Pokemon Blue again and only use pokemon I've never used before. This means I'm using Butterfree, Parasect, and Farfetch'd..... and they're honestly really good! I used a parasect in Pokemon Red and it ended up being one of the best members of my team ironically. I might have to start using it in every Pokemon game it’s available in xD
I’ve used parasect on Nuzlockes before, and it’s actually really fun to use. The trick is to give it the aerial ace tm, then it can actually obliterate a lot of fighting types by capitalizing on its resistance.
I've actually stubbornly used a Butterfree on my FR/LG teams before. It was all uphill, sure, but I loved seeing my cute butterfly take me to the Elite Four.
Yeah, Butterfree is so cute, and OP in the Early/Mid Game. I never feel good when I swap him out for a "better" pokemon, although I know his stats won't hold up eventually.
This is a neat video. I like how it is like terrible but you make the team like doable. Except parasect and farfetch'd. Poor parasect. Farfetch'd deserves an evolution. Like I love butterfree enough to try it, and radicate is eh. Electrode is defidently doable I suppose. Kingler can work but geez the physical special deal in the old games screws it.
i often use butterfree because of its compound eyes ability boosting its accuracy. i give it the moves sleep powder, dream eater, shadow ball and silver wind or psybeam. love it!
I actually love using Butterfree non-ironically in Firered/Leafgreen, because it can spam sleep powder (the accuracy's boosted by compound eyes) and then destroy the opponents with dream eater. It's great for destroying Agatha's ghosts.

Parasect is actually really good. It learns spore a 100% sleep move.
Parasect is weakest pokemon than butterfree
Butterfree has compound eyes that can put enemy on sleep with Sleep Powder and it is faster than Parasect
The thing that makes Butterfree fun for me is the ability “compound eyes” which increases its accuracy by 1.3x which is something be be taken advantage of.
I have had a lot of fun using a butterfree with:
1. Psychic
2. Shadow ball
3. Stun spore
4. Supersonic
You can try building butterfree strong enough to one shot but your best bet is to focus speed/defenses to get off a paralysis/confused state and chip away
same here, but with sleep powder. I never thought about supersonic, but that is good too.
Butterfree...with the ability COMPOUNDEYES... and NO SLEEPPOWDER???!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's what I was thinking!!
7:32 Boy, do I have some GOOD news for you
Wha
Spandan Barve farfetched evolution
SIRFETCH
Not worst team
"Challenge Team"
Edit: Better title - "The Dark Souls of Best Teams"
Worst team for kanto.
Challenge accepted.
So no one is going to talk about the fact that Mystic said Butter instead of Butterfree at 3:23 ?
RedShellSniper who cares, though?
True but with Beedrill you could have a Jolly/Adamant nature and have Aerial Ace Substitute Endeavor Sludge Bomb and have a half decent attacker
Who in the world calls Butterfree Butter?
Honestly, idk why they didn't make Butterfree Bug/Psychic. It would still be bad compared to the other Psychic types (due to stats and not learning Psychic by level-up) but it would at least be usable in a normal playthrough without EV grinding.
I LOVE this video! It's fucking amazing and I can't wait to see the rest in the series!
Funny enough I actually used a Butterfree seriously when playing Leafgreen again recently. Wasn't great but did (barely) got passed Agatha's Gengars and Haunters using a strategy of Sleep Powder and Dream Eater.
butterfee: sleep powder + dream eater
Can't wait for hoenn😄Awesome Video! MysticUmbreon you're the best!

@@AdminAbuse well sorryy I don't speak english as my first language.
Parasect White Knighting!!
While I wouldn't recommend it for actual battles, Parasect in the later games can be "pretty useful" with access to both Spore and False swipe.
Lol i used a farfetch'd for a little as a joke when i went through fire red and it actually ended up being better than everything on my team because of its reliable moves and double xp
oh dude i visibly cringed when i saw parasect and farfetch'd..... Oof..... kinda tempted to actually play thru leaf green with it tho sdkjsdjk
Your icon is awesome.
Pan represent. :)
@@nashdiy8570 Thank u uwu
Those two aren't even the worst, though.
@@sinbingaming4419 I'm talking about the fact that there's Pokémon much worse than either in G3. Like Ditto. And Chansey. And Golbat.
Kingler is amazing! Yeah he sucks for sp attack which is how you have him set but as pure physical attacker it's the best I've been able to crush the whole game with just a strong kingler if used right I think it's the best Pokemon in the game
Crabhammer is his water physical move he is badass!
Your right. He also gets vice grips and can use guillotine which is a one hit ko if it hits
I love kingler too can you get crabhammer in gen 3
@@dkmow706 you can get it all the way back in gen2
Christon Musick in gen 3 crabhammer is still special
I’m actually gonna stick up for Kingler, I’ve always had good experiences
Machamp his stomp and hyper beam has bodied a few Pokemon for me
It is good, has very high physical attack BUT Water was up to gen 3 only special... so there is no use on that nice atk
I actually did have a playthrough once where my Butterfree, Holly, carried me through and really rounded out my team.
I’m actually gonna run my leaf green with this team, wish me luck!
@Sneaky Serpent struggled a bit but i managed
It'd be interesting to see you do a play through with these teams to test how difficult they really are.
3:46 thank god! I raised my primape from a lvl 2 mankey from victory road!
I'm going to run a playthrough with this team and I expect a retweet when I tweet at you that I'm starting hahaha
If you ask me, I think a better set for Farfetch'd would be:
Fly
Swords Dance
Agility
Steel Wing/Slash
With just one Agility, it pretty much outspeeds anything, and you use Swords Dance to stack up for the Murder Spree he'll have
Imagine not having an evolution for Farfetch'd.
This was made by the Sirfetch’d gang.
imagine not having rayquaza in the base game
Sounds like a fun thing to nuzlock if you like failing
You can't choose which pokemon you catch in a nuzlocke, it's random. Therefore this team may not actually be attainable.
Elimination locke
Obtainable*
@@elijahcraft8641 LOL, don't know what was going on in my head when I was writing this.
It made me sad when you were dissing parasect he was on the first ever Pokemon team i had and he helped quite a bit 😔
Farfetch'd got done good with sirfetch'd, he's on my team in sword and has an insane attack especially paired with a leek for them crits
Idk how this happened, but I decided to start Pokemon Blue again and only use pokemon I've never used before. This means I'm using Butterfree, Parasect, and Farfetch'd..... and they're honestly really good! I really enjoyed the video and encourage anyone to branch out of the norm when playing these games, especially when you've played them for a long time. Keep up the great content! :)
Imagine using a pokemon with access to the best sleep inducing move, but not actually giving it that move... oh wait
I used a parasect in Pokemon Red and it ended up being one of the best members of my team ironically. I might have to start using it in every Pokemon game it’s available in xD
Why do so many people jump on here and think it's creative to say a team full of Magikarp
Let me ask you this: have you ever seen anything Pokemon-related in which Magikarp being the worst Pokemon DOESN'T get brought up?
@@breloom657 Yes, Pikasprey's 6 smeargle challenge, because the puppy massacre is much worse than a team of Magikarp.
@@davidmagyar4521 no, the point I was making was that everyone overuses the "Magikarp sucks lol" joke, haha

Currently using a parasect in my leaf green play through and I have a new found love for it 😂😂❤️❤️❤️❤️
This is stupid..
I LOVE IT
Do a playthrough using this team

I thought we did, also isnt this a generation 3 game?
Walter Robinson He misspoke
@@superlombax1561 im well aware, just pointing it out
I’ve used parasect on Nuzlockes before, and it’s actually really fun to use. The trick is to give it the aerial ace tm, then it can actually obliterate a lot of fighting types by capitalizing on its resistance.
Wasn't sure if I would like this Series but I do. Good work.

Finally some good content from this channel
I've actually stubbornly used a Butterfree on my FR/LG teams before. It was all uphill, sure, but I loved seeing my cute butterfly take me to the Elite Four.
Yeah, Butterfree is so cute, and OP in the Early/Mid Game. I never feel good when I swap him out for a "better" pokemon, although I know his stats won't hold up eventually.
I feel like Kabutops would be worse for a water type surfer, got many more weaknesses than kingler and special atk is even worse lol
i used kabutops on my last team and he worked out fine for me. this is all post game accomplishments minus battle tower.
I actually used a Kingler during a gen three rom hack and it didn’t have the physical special split... rip
.. WOW SO RUDE ITS ALWAYS BEST AND WORST WHAT ABOUT A' OK 'TEAM
STOP YELLING
AHHHH
Thank you for this.
I now have a challenge to do possibly.
I cant find a parasect with Dry Skin in fire red.... u know if subir possible to have Deu skin in fire red ?
7:37 well now we're going to get one
I love the design of parasect
Why don't you have spore on Parasect? It's literally the only useful thing about it and you didn't think to include it?
He said in the video that you cold use Spore instead of Leech Life
Cuz this is the worst team
@@coldore6734 Then why doesn't he have the worst moves on all of them? This is just the worst pokemon, not the worst movesets as well.
@@matthewcarson3736 based and red pilled name, fren
This is a neat video. I like how it is like terrible but you make the team like doable. Except parasect and farfetch'd. Poor parasect. Farfetch'd deserves an evolution. Like I love butterfree enough to try it, and radicate is eh. Electrode is defidently doable I suppose. Kingler can work but geez the physical special deal in the old games screws it.
i often use butterfree because of its compound eyes ability boosting its accuracy. i give it the moves sleep powder, dream eater, shadow ball and silver wind or psybeam. love it!
I lost it when he said PP consumption
Damn you really gonna do that to my boy Parasect? :(
Charizard, butterfree, raticate, tangela, electrode, seaking
Still manage to beat the game😂😂
Upload a video of the champion battle
I actually love using Butterfree non-ironically in Firered/Leafgreen, because it can spam sleep powder (the accuracy's boosted by compound eyes) and then destroy the opponents with dream eater. It's great for destroying Agatha's ghosts.
I do the same, but I never thought of Dream Eater! That is some good synergy.
I’m such a fucking child, I laughed my ass off at the words “PP consumption”
