Nice bit of trivia for any who are into lore - Murozond is the only one to mention Aman'Thul directly, no other boss, npc, or book in-game mentions him by name
Feels strange looking back, with all that we know now. In Cataclysm the titans were just these mythical figures vaguely hinted at in the facilities like Ulduar and Uldaman.
Transcribed for posterity and easy quoting: "The End Time, I once called this place. I had not seen by then; I did not know. You hope to what? Stop me here? Change the fate I worked so tirelessly to weave?" "You crawl unwitting like a blind, writhing worm towards endless madness and despair. I have witnessed the true End Time. This? This is a blessing you simply cannot comprehend." "So be it." "The powers of the Hourglass do nothing to me!" "To repeat the same action and expect different results is MADNESS!" "Another chance will make no difference. You will fail." "AGAIN?! Is this your plot?! Your scheme?!" "The Hourglass's power is exhausted. No more games, mortals! Relent - or perish." "Your time has come!" "The sand has run out!" "Time ends!" "You know not what you have done! Aman'thul...what I...have...seen...."
I remember this fight very well, my favorite part was his mocking laughter whenever he cast those glowing things on the ground. The contrast to his strained, on-edge voice and the composed, cold voice on Nozdormu in the background gave such a chilling effect. Also, his taunting"the powers of the hourglass do nothing to me! >:D" would actually be his demise, since players can rewind to get CDs back, regain health and mana, pop Hero repeatedly, while his health remains unchanged (unless you wanna run for achievement. I never did in back in Cata, but only after it became solo-able ;') )
It is kinda weird to see Nozdorme seeing himself in the future like that and yet saying '' It will come to pass ''. I don't know if this has to happen for the whole events to proceed as before or this was just a side-effect that could be avoided. Either way, knowing you are going to go mad and not doing anything about it until then... it kinda sounds weird to me.
This is pretty much the best RP in any of wow, better than YOU FACE NOT MALCHAZAR ALONE BUT THE LEGIONS I COMMAND, more quotable than YOU ARE NOT PREPARED and even more dramatic voice than PURE WATER or OUR ENGINES ARE DAMAGED
He still can be. It might even be that he flees to the End Time after some upcoming raid defeats him, so that we can beat him in a future patch that is already past.
He doesn't have the echo because time sits still when he speaks... no echo. No movement foreward.

Oh boy has this changed.

I wonder if this becomes relevant now with Dragonflight? Will the Infinite be the main antagonist? I hope so.
You mean blizzard messed up their own lore, which isn't surprising @@skribzy1157

I love this dungeon and this fight in particular. Love his pre-fight speech.
In my opinion this is one of the best voice acting in Warcraft history (including trailers)
Thank you for uploading this. Brings back good memories.
Martin Sheen. That's peculiar.
" Did I ever tell you the definition of insanity ? "

He knows that anything he tries to do to prevent it will just end up causing it. Time can suck like that.

Nice voice acting.
I'm guessing its because he's in the present, whereas the other Infine came from another time.
I pity Nozdormu the most out of any one
voice actor doesnt fit the role. Should have done one closer to old hillsbrad.
