Started off on Keto about 5 years ago lost 20 lbs then cheated my way back to heavy then found carnivore 5 months ago....steak every day, no veggies no nuthin...lost 50 lbs in 3 months and have kept it off (233-183, 5'9"). It seriously took 3 months before I realized I'd lost my cravings and as a result hardly ever felt/feel hungry unless I've fasted for a couple of days which became really easy to do...anyway, love the recipe and if I was to cheat with some veggies this would be my go to because I used to love pizza.

I tell people the hardest thing about going carnivore is not being about to go back. After you remove the breads, tortilla and all that other junk you get sick just smelling it. This makes potluck the worse thing ever, being hungry with all sorts of garbage around you knowing if you touch it you are just gonna get you a worse stomach ache. Bread just soaks up all your acids and give you vomit breath.

Cut green peppers in half either horizontally or vertically. Put green peppers in microwave with some water to soften about 10 min. Then drain and put in baking dish and stuff with meat mixture. Top with cheese and bake at 350 for 15-20 min. Delicious and low carb.

I wonder if you were to put the pepperoni and cheese on the bottom and made like a big chip with that if it would be good? Then those that could tolerate tomato could dip it in sauces. I always boil my pepperoni to get the grease out of it. I find it kinda sickening when it is really oily. I so miss tomatoes, potatoes, and eggplant! Can't eat nightshade family plants d/t psoriasis and other immune system issues. I make dips out of sour cream with different seasonings.

Cheese that is sliced or grated at home melts much better because pre-grated cheese that’s bought in the stores grated has chemical “stuff” on it that prevents the cheese from sticking to itself, but sadly that same “stuff” also prevents the cheese from melting as well. The more you know! 😁 Recipe looks great, too!

    Try my 7 Layer Nachos:
In a large roasting pan, place these ingredients in the following order.
--- In the bottom of the pan, spread a can of refried beans.
--- On the beans, place 1.5 to 2 lbs. hamburger, browned and drained of grease.
--- On top of the meat, spread 2 jars of salsa.
--- On the salsa, place 2 lbs. of grated cheese; 1 lb. of Monterey jack, 1 lb. of cheddar.
--- On top of the cheese, carefully spread 2 tubs of sour cream; this is the tricky part, spreading the cream so that the cheese stays under it.
--- Sprinkle 1 bunch of chopped green onions on top of the sour cream.
--- Sprinkle one small can, drained, of sliced black olives on top of the sour cream.
Bake in the oven preheated to 400 degrees for 45 minutes. Let rest for 15 minutes.
This is a party recipe, and it's usually served by scooping some out onto a plate and eating it with tortilla chips. However, to avoid the carbs in the chips, it can be eaten alone.

I think instead of spaghetti sauce (although, like you, Prego is my favorite) I'll try Manwich. When I was my Atkins Diet 20 years ago, I did this, but instead of browning the meat first, I would layer it in a pie pan then with the rest of the ingredients and baked it. The meat became the "crust".

    Heres my recipe
    Crust
    1lbs mozz
    1-2 cups of almond flour
Inst: microwave mozz in glass bowl until soft. Add in almond flour and mix. Usually needs 30secs reheat to soften more.
16x9 pan and roll out and place inside. Its ok if its not perfectly fit or has extra edges. Just fold over the top later.
    Filling / Ingedients / Layers
    Cup ricotta spread
    pizza sauce
Cooked meats (hamburger, sausage or none)
    Mozz
    Veggies
    Pepperoni
    Bake at 400 around 10 -20m
    Broil if you want crispy
It can get watery because of veggies sometimes. Just pour out if needed.

I can save you a step you take your meat mixture put everything in with one egg some cheese flatten it out on your pizza tin. Pop it in the oven for 10/15 minutes take it out put your toppings on put it in for another 10/15 minutes saved you the step of cooking it in a pan. 🍕I used ground chicken too.

I recently found a "Crustless Pizza" frozen dinner and since I'm supposed to cut carbs, tried it. I loved it! Some reviewers hated it, but all the delicious ingredients without bothering with the crust? Sign me up! Didn't think of making it myself so this vid was perfect. BTW, you asked what's our favorite light or low-carb meal and, I hate to be that guy who can't just answer a question as asked, but the heavier and more carb-loaded a meal is, the better! Don't tell my doctor I said that. 🤫

Mine is similar to this but i use sausage (which ever you prefer). Simply brown the meat, drain set aside to cool, in a lg mixing bowl we add black olives, peppers, onions, mushrooms, sausage, shredded Mozz cheese and a portion of your low sugar low carb sauce, enough get a light layer on your fillings.
Once you have everything in your mixing bowl and well combined place in a casserole dish and use the remainder of your sauce and cheese and peperoni to top it off, bake a 400 for 15 to 20 until you achieve your preferred level of done.
We prefer our veggies to have a little crunch left, not completely softened.
(Side Note: In my quest to cut the unnecessary carbs I DO NOT USE pre-shredded cheese bc it contains potato starch (more carbs) as an anti-caking agent, if you can, its better to buy the block and shred it yourself.)
I will add that since I began keto and intermittent fasting I have lost a bunch of weight, gotten off insulin, brought my blood pressure down and my labs are normalizing, my A1C went from 13.7 to 6.4. Our society is addicted to convenience and in our collective quest to be convenience we have traded away our health, we have traded once nutrient dense healthy home prepared meals for fast "foods" in bags boxes and barcoded crap that is a nutrient desert and barren of any essential vitamins and minerals. I no longer eat by the clock, I eat when I am hungry. Sometimes i go for 2 or 3 days and it's easy. The reason fasting is hard for some is bc of the addiction to sugars starches and carbs, yes just like a drug addict. Sugar triggers the same portion of the reward center of your brain same as narcotics do. Second, sugar can only be processed by the liver and it make fat out of it and that triggers insulin "the storage hormone" and the fat stored.
America obesity issue is corporate designed.

The simplest meal ever. 1/2 - 1 lb of bacon in a deep skillet or pot fry to your favorite level of cooked but make sure to have a bunch of fat rendered into liquid, add several cans of low sodium green beans, don't drain. Simmer until most of the water has boiled away and the liquid left is mainly bacon grease. Bacon flavored green beans are absolutely divine.

I have a great low carb recipe I use for a hearty meal (and I will be trying the one in your video soon) I take some ground beef (1 to 2 lbs) cooked thoroughly in coconut oil -that adds some healthy fats and a little more flavor, you can substitute avocado oil if you dont like the coconut flavor. While that meat is browning up, I use a very healthy amount of Worcestershire sauce. While thats going I have some cheese (like velvetta) melting down in a pan with a good bit of butter and a splash of either almond milk or heavy cream. Once that is melted down I add in some riced cauliflower. One the meat is down it gets added to the cheese mix and stirred up real good. Thats it, its ready to serve. This is basically a low carb version of a recipe I used to make with Jasmine Rice instead. Note that you can substitute the ground beef for something like Ground Bison or a leaner (90/10) ground beef. I usually use an 80/20 ground beef

We make something slightly similar but definitelyvnot low carb since it contains pasta. Pizza Hut used to make a dish called Cavatini back in the 70's and 80's that I loved. My mom figured out a copycat version by taking mine apart one time when I ordered it. It's basically just pizza in a pot and substituting the crust with 3 different shaped pastas. We make one meat lovers and one with veggies added because some people didn't like mushrooms and black olives or bell pepper.
At Pizza Hut they served it in individual oval ramikins that they popped in the puzza oven long enough to make the cheese on top mekt and brown slightly. We just add the cheese into the pot then add more on top.

First i do not see any bacon. Lots of pepperoni is 👍 great but bacon brings out the flavour of the heavens. Along with a custom of flavours of cheese. Mossarella chedder and not shy on the parmesan feta if you are feeling adventurous. Bacon mixed in the crust so everything gets divoured. No left overs except praise that was phenomenal pizza. Do not be shy cause people be talking about that pizza for long time guanrantee. That stickes in the head with parmesan cheese covering the top. I cook two because after everyone leaves i got breakfast and lunch for the next day......thats how i roll
