Small suggestion. Try adding the pickles after cooking. There is nothing quite like a cold, crunchy dill pickle to compliment the heat of the other ingredients.
I made it today. Yum! I did add some mushrooms, yellow peppers, spinach and a tiny bit of cilantro and used half n half instead of full cream. It was so delicious!
I just fixed this for the first time tonight and I have to say it’s one of the best things I’ve put in my mouth. Thank you so much for this recipe. I am hooked on it.
I made this for dinner tonight. I omitted the bacon because of time constraints. I served it with pickles on the side because I didn’t want them to get hot and mushy. We loved it!! I feel so satisfied after eating this due to the high fat and calories. With the mustard flavor mixed in it truly reminded me of eating a bunless burger. 😊 Thanks for an AWESOME recipe!! ❤❤
I made this today and it was DELICIOUS. The only thing I did differently is added spicy brown mustard vs Dijon and very generously seasoned both my plant based meat, egg batter and on top. Then added more cheese on top. Definitely a 10/10! Thank You.
Looks good. Looks like it would be easy to change up a little to suit individual tastes. As well the video you put together was clear and simple to follow. Not all videos are clear and simple to follow. Thanks for posting.
@@aworthwhilemoment8374 I think I'm going to try this version first then maybe try kind of a Mexican version or maybe like an Italian/pizza version. Again, thanks for the nice, straight forward easy to follow instructions. No cool thumpity music or flashy video editing required.
@@aworthwhilemoment8374 I made it and loved it. Next time I’ll add more pickles. Had to leave out the mustard (husband hates it) but I don’t think he liked it as much as me so next time I’ll put it in.
Saute some sliced Vidalia onions and sliced baby portobello mushrooms in the grease from some bacon you just fried in a cast iron skillet then crumble that up. Scatter on top of the cheese then bake. I haven't done it yet but I'm already sighing...🥴
I'm definitely going to try this. I would have liked to be able to print the recipe AND instructions. Thanks for getting right to the recipe and everything was so simple!!
Great Video! Nice and slow, easy to follow. You didn’t say how much shredded cheese though or what temperature, so I guessed 350 like another lady said. Mine came out with some liquid in the middle, but done on the top and bottom. Tasted super yummy!!! 😋 Thank you for posting it.
Looks so good...can't wait to try this. Thanks for sharing! UPDATE 5/26/21: we've had this a couple of times...it's as good as it look...second time we served the pickles on the side.
Do you have the carb, calorie fat listing for this? I am making it right now (it is in the oven actually). Thanks if you don't. Can't wait to taste it.
Thank you for sharing this recipe. I made it tonight for myself, and it's really tasty. I just don't know why mine seems to not be all the way done. I had it in the over for 35 minutes on 350, but the middle part of the top layer was not browning like the edges. So I put it back in for another 10 minutes. The top layer is more done now, but the middle above the meat is still more liquidy than I expected. It's the consistency of homemade lasagna with ricotta cheese. I thought it would be more like a slice that held together. Did I miss a step? Nevertheless, it tastes good.
Hi, hmmmm, i don't believe you missed anything. Your oven might run a little cooler., Try 375 the next time 30 minutes. When you take it out, jiggle it. If it is very loosey-goosey, pop it back in for 5 min and repeat.
It works just as well. I like this one because the flavor holds up. That was all. Regular mustard seems to get lost. It’s all about what you enjoy tasting. 😊
Yes, I started out with three meals. And it’s just been amazing the way that I feel. Having one meal a day is very typical of a keto lifestyle. Thanks for watching!
@@andreaf5765 I keep my carbs as low as possible. I do not want to come close to 18-30 a day. Some days I am a little more hungry other days, not so much.
I do a half a meal replacement with my coffee and mct oil in the morning and have a small keto dinner and drink water throughout the day. Seems to be working for me as well. Ive lost 20 lbs. In 6 weeks and feel so much better. Thanks for the video making it now
I have made a few tweaks, but I believe the original nutritional value went something like this: Calories: 613 Net Carbs: 3g Sugar: 1g Protein: 33g Fat: 51g . Hope this helps :)
That is not, "...just a little bit of ketchup." That is smothered in ketchup. Maybe you measure ketchup the same way you measure mustard? Going to try it tomorrow night. The comments sound promising.
I didn't always eat just the one meal. I started with baby steps, and eventually, just wasn't hungry. So, then went to 2 meals, now at one. Most days I am SO incredibly full. Others, I might add a snack or dessert on the end.
I used to find reading the comments helpful but it seems like these days people just use that as an opportunity to tell everybody how they totally changed the dish to somehting else. I simple up or down vote on the recipe would be most helpful but what do I know other than I can't try thousands of variation.
I generally listen to my body, sometimes I add extra veggies or a salad. If am really hungry I'll add a sweet dessert to the end or have a little snack in the early evening.
“3 PCs of bacon minus the couple I’ve already eaten”. Haha. Haha. Haha. I’m a fan already.
Small suggestion. Try adding the pickles after cooking. There is nothing quite like a cold, crunchy dill pickle to compliment the heat of the other ingredients.
Great idea!
Especially a spicy hot 🔥 pickle! 😮😊
I think I’ll try pickled jalapeños!

Pickles is good.....But Jalapenos sounds really good to me too! Gunna try it!! SOON!
I'm gonna add jalapenos instead of pickles...😉
Please, let me know know how THAT turns out!! Another person suggested sour cream,... almost like a popper casserole??

I’m making it for the third time. It’s yummy. I included some sausage in with the beef for fun.
I made it for my husband , and he loved it. Now I’m fixing it again .
This is amazing, the addition of the pickles is simply brilliant, very tasty & easy to do, the family loved it! Thank You for this wonderful recipe!
this recipe is outstandingly delicious! I would recommend it ! My husband is a very picky eater and he loved it! Thank you for posting!😁
Added brocolli instead of pickles with a side of green salad! Came out amazing! 🙏 Thanks! I also do OMD kudos!
What an accomplishment, thank you for watching.
08/30/23 just made this for dinner. Very good. Every easy. I will make this again. Thank you!!
Wonderful! Yum.
Tia, looks amazing!! I think I would have to add fresh sliced jalapeños and maybe a jalapeños mustard instead Dijon! Thanks for sharing!
Yum!! that sounds delish!
Excited to give this a try! Thanks for a great recipe...
going to try today for my meal prep for the week. looks good

Looks good, probably be made next wk, on a double size scale
Made it today and loved it)) I used fresh mozzarella on top instead of cream cheese and it was so yummy. Thanks for the recipe. Simple and delicious😍
Yum, love that you put your own spin on this!
Yeah I did something similar except I used Ricotta cheese instead of cream cheese. Fantastic recipe!
I have the “Calamity ware” version of the blue willow plates.
One thing I would recommend is to use leaner ground beef and adding in better fats such as coconut oil.
Looks yummy

I will make this - coo lideas. I will use twice the meat, though - hahaha. Subbed.
Love it!!!❤
I would add pepperoni and black olives.
Also I don't have a stove just microwave and top of stove burners can I use either one of those?
Is there a reason to precook the ground beef before putting in the oven vs just mixed the raw ground beef with seasoning then cook in oven?
Good basic recipe. I sauteed onion and garlic. I sautéed mushrooms and added them to make it feed more people. No pickle, our son doesn't like them.
Could you put the macros in the description???
Hey that looks good! shouldn't be watching this fasting though lol

What’s wrong with potato starch? It’s better than cellulose.

You lost me with the pickles.
