I was diagnosed with depression a few months back, but I could tell a long time ago that I had it. it’s still dark in my life and its still a coaster filled with ups and downs this kind of resonated with me. One of the reasons I have depression is my social anxiety and ever since I was diagnosed I have been creating this weird world in my head with friends I want. And I mean specific friends I want, down to their names. In my head, I imagine us having a Coldplay cover band and imagine all of us singing this song and being happy. When I imagine this and played the song I just burst out crying. It’s kind of weird how everybody sees this upbeat makes me burst into tears, thinking about the fun and happiness I want in my life. Still, though this will always be my favorite song by them because of that very reason, even if nothing I wish and pray for comes true.
you aren't alone. From April 2020 until october 2022 i had a pretty bad depression. It wasn't that bad at first but by early 2021 it became so bad to where i wasn't talking to anyone (except relatives), was feeling tired when i shouldn't have, could hardly would hurt to get out of bed where it would hurt if i did, would lose temper or break down at the littlest things, etc. Trust me it isn't fun especially if you had never had a history with it until your first time. But you just gotta keep grinding and it'll turn itself around sooner or later i promise. Since the fall of 2022, i have seen miraculous progress in me and i always got room for more development

I swear coldplay is just the best band ever! The music can be extremely beautiful and depressing at the same time for example (the scientists and fix you), the music can be extremely energetic for example (paradise and Charlie Brown) it can also make you extremely happy for example ( strawberry swing and adventure of a lifetime) can also make a grown man cry for example ( swallowed in the sea and speed of sound, yellow, true love, and warning sign fix you, the scientists, the hardest part, up and up, fun ,all make me cry when im depressed to be honest Coldplay music has helped me get through life and keeps motivating me to keep going! I was diagnosed with depression a few months back, but I could tell a long time ago that I had it. it’s still dark in my life and its still a coaster filled with ups and downs this kind of resonated with me. One of the reasons I have depression is my social anxiety and ever since I was diagnosed I have been creating this weird world in my head with friends I want. And I mean specific friends I want, down to their names. In my head, I imagine us having a Coldplay cover band and imagine all of us singing this song and being happy. When I imagine this and played the song I just burst out crying. It’s kind of weird how everybody sees this upbeat makes me burst into tears, thinking about the fun and happiness I want in my life. Still, though this will always be my favorite song by them because of that very reason, even if nothing I wish and pray for comes true.

you aren't alone. From April 2020 until october 2022 i had a pretty bad depression. It wasn't that bad at first but by early 2021 it became so bad to where i wasn't talking to anyone (except relatives), was feeling tired when i shouldn't have, could hardly would hurt to get out of bed where it would hurt if i did, would lose temper or break down at the littlest things, etc. Trust me it isn't fun especially if you had never had a history with it until your first time. But you just gotta keep grinding and it'll turn itself around sooner or later i promise. Since the fall of 2022, i have seen miraculous progress in me and i always got room for more development
