Yeah. This album's philosophical underpinnings and your comment bring this to mind: “For years I’ve wanted to live according to everyone else’s morals. I’ve forced myself to live like everyone else, to look like everyone else. I said what was necessary to join together, even when I felt separate. And after all of this, catastrophe came. Now I wander amid the debris, I am lawless, torn to pieces, alone and accepting to be so, resigned to my singularity and to my infirmities. And I must rebuild a truth-after having lived all my life in a sort of lie.” -Camus

The lyrics in the first verse feel like the most relatable writing A7X have ever put out, at least for me. Succinctly captures dealing with depression: highs and lows; getting a moment to collect oneself and yell at reality for dealing you this hand; feeling like every bad thing that happens is specifically happening to you and you alone; and feeling like this is simply what you're bound for until your time's up. And then the second verse gives you the much-needed salve: a promise that the bad days come and go, as do the good days, as does everything. So just walk away, and keep on walking. And of course that all ties in to what the band has said is some heavy influence from the works of Albert Camus. As that Frenchman put it, "one must imagine Sisyphus happy."

My favorite one so far is cosmic easy. The whole song is beautiful but after the build up and drop at the end Brooks just walks away with the whole show on his back. His drumming on the end of cosmic is godlike. Loved that song to death. But the whole album is a wild trip, I really liked everything so far.
This was my breakup song this year, 4 years of my life. She left, going down a difficult path. It's crazy, I still hope she's doing well. I hope the future is kind to us.
Those who say this album is the end of A7X have lost their minds. This album is on another level of music genius. I don't know if the songs G, O(rdinary) and (D) eath were meant to spell GOD in order? I thinks so.. Brilliant album.😂
yep, these songs are meant to spell GOD and if you look up like that way, it means EGO DEATH, which is something Matt experienced while taking psychodelics (E)asier (G) (O)rdinary Death they were tripping hard 😂
A7X & so many musicians are currently pushing the limits of rock and metal, transcending the genres. It's a golden age of rock and metal. Haken's recent release Fauna is top of the class with this sitting right next to it. They need to do a tour together ASAP. With special guests Leprous, Periphery, Sleep Token, Bent Knee, TesseracT, Between the Buried and Me, RELIQA and Kalandra. Global Prog Tour!!!
Since I listened to an old scrapped song with tha same title of music, I wanted that Shadows re released this song, and my wants become true, although it's in a different way, I really appreciated it. Thank you guys! ❤️🇧🇷
For my, this is my absolute favourite from this album. And now officially one of my top three Avenged Sevenfold songs. The other two are Almost Easy and Requiem.
Anybody else get some yellow Ledbetter vibes from that guitar tone? Man I love this song! This album was worth the wait
QUE BANDA, meus amigos... Cada era do A7X é significativa, e não será diferente agora.
It's easieeeeer to just walk awaaaay!!
Best song on the album hands down
It's Easier to Run, replacing this pain with something numb!
the hendrix lick! man this is good stuff
anyone else get hendrix vibes from last part of this song. Love the whole album.
My fav from the album.
Specially the solo, oh my god
Easier one of the best
THIS one right here special 💪
This was my breakup song this year, 4 years of my life. She left, going down a difficult path. It's crazy, I still hope she's doing well. I hope the future is kind to us.
I know the feeling. It’s been 5 years in my case.
I know the feeling brother, i hope you get to the gym and create a life that you deserve. @@ironrex6979
Space Invaders at 2:09 LOVE IT!
This song was teased as a demo since 2007… they really changed it around but it’s amazing!
Is there a way to find the original teaser
@@Biting_bullets25 UP!

Yeah
@Jaime A. Good idea, then I can compare. This is definitely not on my top three Avenged Sevenfold songs. Almost Easy and Requiem are the other two.
Man I'm feeling 80's ballad crossed with prince. My new most favorite song of all time.
Avenged meets Daft Punk meets Mr Blue Sky. I love it
This song is soo goood
Those who say this album is the end of A7X have lost their minds. This album is on another level of music genius. I don't know if the songs G, O(rdinary) and (D) eath were meant to spell GOD in order? I thinks so.. Brilliant album.😂
yep, these songs are meant to spell GOD
and if you look up like that way, it means EGO DEATH, which is something Matt experienced while taking psychodelics
(E)asier
(G)
(O)rdinary
Death
they were tripping hard 😂
A7X & so many musicians are currently pushing the limits of rock and metal, transcending the genres. It's a golden age of rock and metal. Haken's recent release Fauna is top of the class with this sitting right next to it. They need to do a tour together ASAP. With special guests Leprous, Periphery, Sleep Token, Bent Knee, TesseracT, Between the Buried and Me, RELIQA and Kalandra. Global Prog Tour!!!
I LOVE A7X:')
A7X IS MY FAV BAND
Beautiful song. 💯❤️🔥
Just seen them live last night❤️ Buffalo NY
Did they play Cosmic?
@@idorion9096 yes and everyone pulled out the flashlights for it! Such a experience🤘🏻
@@REELRAREproduction That's so awesome. I absolutely love that track.
0:19 hits hard
Since I listened to an old scrapped song with tha same title of music, I wanted that Shadows re released this song, and my wants become true, although it's in a different way, I really appreciated it. Thank you guys! ❤️🇧🇷
Avenged Light Orchestra
You’ve never let me down, A7X.
Ill say it if no one else is gonna, holy Jimi vibes. Fucking unreal. This album has blown my mind to pieces and left me with a smile like The Joker.
This is one of my favourite of the whole album.
For my, this is my absolute favourite from this album. And now officially one of my top three Avenged Sevenfold songs. The other two are Almost Easy and Requiem.
"Avenged seven in chains no more" tão foda como a música são as influências nela! 🤘🏼🔥🤘🏼🔥🤘🏼🔥🤘🏼🔥
Life Is But A Dream = Genius
Love from Tura, Meghalaya, India❤❤❤
Matt becomes Mike Patton. FNM vibes. Terrific
