Avenged sevenfold's discography surely is brimming with versatility and badassery at this point in time. That's how artists are supposed to be---nobody likes to get stuck on repeating themselves over and over again.

Wow, i caught the Alice In Chains sound immediately, but i thought people were nuts for saying they heard The Beatles or Beach Boys, until about halfway through. I DEFINITELY hear it too now. Interesting combination that works out way better than it should.

When Syn starts singing I’m getting big Beach Boys vibes and I love it!
He went crazy on this whole album with all the instruments he's credited for playing besides lead guitar, so he's the MVP of the album for sure. He sounded great singing the bridge by himself and it makes me wish he'd get more solo vocal parts on songs because he's a really good singer even though he's kinda always insisted that he isn't. I think he sings with Matt during the piano part on Cosmic as well and it sounds beautiful

this is honestly my least favorite of the whole album, too slow and uneventful for me, some parts sounds nice but overall it slugs too much in my personal opinion, but i'm glad for some it's the best

“That’s something him (Syn) and Brian came up with a long time ago: ‘It’s a beautiful morning, it’s a beautiful day, everybody is smiling, in a beautiful way,’ That’s when it [the song] gets creepy.” This is from their band Pinkly Smooth.
Would have loved to hear Matt go for more with the vocals on this one to honor Layne, but this song sounds good nonetheless.

For me, the transition at 3:33 is a perfect example of what the power of music really is. When this song makes that jump from a happy little paradise to one of the most chaotic, face melting solos I've ever heard in my entire life, it makes me feel genuine anxiety and despair for the main character of this song because I can tell that something is going horribly, _horribly_ wrong for him.
But I don't even have the foggiest idea of what's actually happening. I don't understand exactly what this moment is supposed to represent, and I _DEFINITELY_ can't put words to it, but I still feel the emotions anyway.
It feels like it’s representing how in life something can suddenly go very wrong like you said. Like your life could be great one day and then take a 180 turn for the worst the next. It’s a badass transition
This one along with cosmic has its own vibe, I love the reverb they use on the vocals at 2:20 🤯 great transitions

I love this whole album. Sounds like a lot of the songs are influenced by other musicians, like Alice In Chains, and some of their older stuff.
I feel like there’s also some Queen influence on the album with how many musical theater moments there are

I can't explain why, maybe it was the visuals or how good it sounded, but I'm in love. For years, Nightmare and Self titled were uncontested favorites but LIBAD just might be a contender to dethrone them.. 😳

Song is amazing. I started listening to Mad Season and Alice In Chains again recently and this reminds me of their style.

This song is unique and sounds like what it is, don't belittle it by having to categorize it so you can feel more organized or why ever you feel the need to categorize and label everything.

Que album foda, pqp! Se esse album fosse feito nos anos 80/90 com certeza ia ser sucesso absoluto, vendas de milhões pelo mundo! Infelizmente hoje em dia são poucos os jovens que apreciam esse estilo de música, mas vou fazer minha parte e comprar assim que sair! a7x sou fã já faz mais de 15 anos.

Ouço há bastante tempo e não gostei tanto assim. Talvez precise maturar o som na cabeça. Atualmente, não é um disco que eu considero agradável de ouvir do começo ao fim numa tirada só.
Depois de ouvir o álbum umas 3 vezes seguidas, já consigo pensar nele como um todo e curtir, sendo as de mais destaque até agora, Mattel, Nobody, Cosmic e (O)rdinary. E esse finalzinho de Beautiful Morning é sinistro de bom.
