Such an ironic title. I feel like after we listen to this album all the way through and get to this song, we don't want it to be over, and that really long, drawn out instrumental part at the end is like us holding on by a thread until it finally dies down...

One thing about avenged is you just can’t pin them down to any style. They are just Avenged. I love every album for what it is - evolution. All the way up to the stage at least.
I used to blast this album when I was in high school. I had this fucked up image in my head of the members of the band melting at the end. Literally melting and their flesh falling apart and that's why the solo sounds so messed up. Ending with all of them except the drummer turning into a puddle of blood until the final hit on the drums were he follows suit.

Easily one of their best songs. Too bad it never got much publicity.
Think it's because of a 2 minute outro

+xXEastPride42Xx I personally think the outro is the best part.
Why? I can't really get why people like it. It's ear raping out of key guitar soloing along with out of time drumming
+xHeavenHelpUsAll7771x They do that on purpose. It actually quite cool and genius when you realize that it is representing the ending of the album

Safe with how we lived our lives
With how it all turned out (But things are bound to change)
Uncovered lies, surfaced throughout
Will make you change your mind
Sometimes life is altered
Won't turn out right, can't turn out right
When I see you, I can read it in your eyes
Fate misunderstood (But things are bound to change)
Swallowed the lies, can't blame you for
Thinking with your heart
Sometimes life is altered
Break from the ropes your hands are tied
Uneasy with confrontation

I see my world crumble and fall, before my eyes
I know, I know
Dark will turn to light, in time I'll be alright
I know, I know
I never imagined my life could turn out this way
So cold, so black, so alone
Living goes by fast, catch your breath
And it will pass you by
And it won't last, to sulk with the memories you hold
