Still haven't found a band that brings together rock and instrumentals together so beautifully. It's literally the perfect band. No other band brings so much emotion to me. I played them at my wedding, I will play them at my funeral, I will always promote them as my favorite band and music of all time and I have since I was a child whenever anyone has asked me. What's your favorite band.. pfffft... Avenged Sevenfold forever!!!! ❤❤❤

I lost my daughter just a little over a year ago, she was our second attempt at being parents and she came stillborn, before that we had a miscarriage. This song just moves me, I can’t listen to it in public or I’ll break down, I’m a drummer and I can’t even comprehend half of these rhythms, but somehow this is exactly how I feel in my heart, It’s really beautiful that Avenged Sevenfold can create such amazing songs. Avenged sevenfold is the reason I can even remotely function.

it feels so weird to me to think about where these guys have come from musically and where they are now. Its kind of like watching your friends grow up with you
I know! I was in the 7th grade when I first heard them. Fast-forward to jut turning 16 in the summer of 2010 when Nightmare dropped, and it blew me away. I have listened to that album more than any thanks to having just gotten a car and riding around til the wee hours of the morning listening to it. Now I am 28, and this has blown my mind the same way Nightmare did. I never thought I would have an album that I related to as much as I did with Nightmare, but here we are. It is like they put all of my internal commentary of the world for the last 10 years into an album. I am so thankful. It is crazy to feel 16 again.
The transition from the solo to the piano break is so musically powerful. One of the most beautiful moments I’ve heard in a song in awhile, and I say that as someone who isn’t sold on this album yet
I've grown up with avenged sevenfold. From a 12 year old punk to a 32 year old adult. A7X is my Metallica. Every album is so different and I love being able to listen to them depending on what music mood I am in. Great album and worth the wait guys!!!!!
This album reminds me of how boomers must have felt when Metallica started dropping southern rock in the late 90s. the last four or five songs on LIBAD are just not good to me.
The tears don’t stop listening to this one. It’s sooo good! I just lost my brother Sammy who was 28 yrs old. He was a big fan of these guys. It’s almost like he’s singing this song himself. Going to A7X in Calgary in August.. a few days before my late bro’s birthday. I know my little bro’s spirit will be with us ❤️
This song is so criminally beautiful, that middle part nearly brings me to tears whenever I hear it. Cosmic and So Far Away are the only A7X songs that give me chills every listen
And just the end with everything being like the end of a good ending movie with hope. It gave me chills first time listening and even today after 6 days in my car radio, trying to understand and feel their songs more and more time go
It’s the song of a lifetime. The only 7 minute song you don’t realize flew by so fast, and you never want it to end. Truly breathtaking, and the first song to make me cry in a long time. It’s so beautiful, both lyrics and music.
Never has a song made me cry on the first listen through. This is a beautiful piece. Probably going to go down as one of my favorite A7X songs ever. There’s so much peace in everything after the solo. Thank you guys.

Agreed. This is not quite, but close to Dark Side of the Moon level musical quality. If M. Shadows’ voice holds up (which is not likely, unfortunately), A7X will be playing shows well into their 60’s or 70’s like Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, etc… They’ll come out on stage, practically assisted by their tennis ball shoed walkers. Lol And I’ll go see them.
I saw these dudes in Austin, Texas when they were kids during “sounding the seventh trumpet” tour with tsunami bomb at Flamingo Cantina. Then the next year in San Antonio with my chemical romance. Each show had about 20 people. Pretty amazing, considering what both bands ended up doing
I'm a 54 yr old man, been a professional musician since I was 19 yrs old, been thru so many life changing events in my life, I've heard a lot of music thru my life on this planet and seen a lot period. This song by A7X is like nothing I've ever experienced. And that's what this song is, an experience. It's beautiful in a way that it touched my soul. And that's what the fuk music is all about. A journey to self exploration. I hope you all know what you all are listening to, this song, these musicians, the band just gave you a door to go into and find that part of you that you haven't been in contact with in awhile and need to reevaluate your relationship with it. And "feel" life again.....
You perfect discribed what i feel listening to this masterpiece... may be overreacting but i guess it's my all time favorite from them, it´s influence from Daft Punk made the whole experience just faultless
From sounding the seventh trumpet to this... the evolution of this band has been amazing. Many won't see the beauty in this work of art. Avenged has blossomed very nicely. Eager to see what's next for these guys!
I REALLY think the strings at the end of the song for the last 20 seconds are the most underrated part maybe of the whole album. Very calm and melancholy. Words cant describe how it makes me feel. Nostalgic, melancholic, hopeful, mystic, amazing.
@@georgechugalugging7777 Opening for metallica in mexico. The songs they were singing were just a different genre than what everyone bought tickets for that night. Think it was before the "Avenged sevenfold" album and after "city of evil"
the artist who drew these did so well to capture the classic avenged sevenfold vibe we all know and love. i feel like you could guess the band just by looking at the art. so iconic
Teary eyed, lump in my throat and goosebumps every time I hear this song. So grateful for Avenged, truly out did themselves with song writing like this.
This song give me chills, and it get very important, cause it's the song that someone love a lot and our road got seperate and every time I listen to it, it get more and more intense. The end just want me to go see her and tell her how much she help me and give her a real last hug. I just don't want to look like a freak, so I said nothing when I needed to go. She's older, got a child, a boyfriend, a lifi. I just started mine. I didn't wanted to go, and she fought for me without me knowing it was her since the start, but I'm too old to come again, so now I'm left alone, with just sadness and pain and old memories. I still need her in my life
100% agreed. every comment is focused on big picture, just how beautiful the song is but can we talk about M Shadows hitting that last note with crazy stability and tone? he went through such a serious vocal injury, his ability to get it back to this point just speaks to his work ethic and passion for music. so grateful we're getting work of this quality from these dudes still. makes me happy
My girlfriend has a terminal illness and we all know the outcome. This song just connects in such a painful but beautiful way. She will always be with us and us with her.
@@A7XBitch i mean he did go through surgery and had alot of problems with his voice. Hes also older than nightmare era. So obviously is voice dosent sound has good.
This album only gets better after each listen. I'm loving the direction Avenged went with this album and The Stage. They went away from the traditional rock genre that made them the money and now going into a more Pink Floyd/Dream Theater style where they have let their talents really excel.
I feel them letting out their inner prog love was inevitable. Matt and Syn are huge fans of Mr. Bungle. Matt and Syn are big fans of Dream Theater as well with John Petrucci being one of Syn's biggest influences and of course The Rev loved the shit out of Mike Portnoy so. It was only a matter of time.
Tbh this is probably their most A7X album they've ever done; I know it doesnt make sense, but with this album, it feels like they've really come into themselves and Im all here for it
Holy shit, definitely a "just lean back and FEEL" song. Absolutely amazing song, still listening through the album song by song in order but it's definitely S tier so far
@@vosoryan I've went to a A7X concert every time they release a new album and they've yet to disappoint. Brooks is going a really solid job on drums too I must say. After all the years of seeing Jimmy behind the kit, I'm sure he's proud of how Brooks is doing with the band.
Oh I can't over-hear that drum work. You are so right. It is as you say amazing not just the technicality of Brooks playing but it's as if the sound just sores. Towards the end he just takes off and lifts the song to the end, incredible work.
The whole album is a journey😭 I've never had an album speak to me in a way that made me feel like someone actually understood my deepest unspoken thoughts.
@@christinaboyden9093 i completely agree. The album seems to be quite divisive but it's still very much an Avenged album. Their themes have always been on the existential side of things. Although each song on this album is very much different than the other, it still all seems to make sense.
This is brilliant. I've listened to this quite a few times since it leaked yesterday and EVERY time, I tear up. I can't explain it. I know none of the band members will probably see this, but THANK YOU Avenged. For this song, and the entire album.
Those whom grew up listening to A7X understand and feel the growth of there band. But, not only us the other generations that are finding them or have witnessed this beautiful ascension of the band. A7X is immortalized themselves into the musical realm of rock =]
i drove around today listening to this song and album with my best friend, it felt like we were kids again, it made everything go away and everything during that time was perfect. a core memory made. the wait was worth it boys.
This is the best song I’ve ever heard in my life. This is exactly the song I’ve been searching for my whole life and it’s finally been made. I need more music just like this song in my life
I am fighting major depression and Avenged has always been by my side with their music, listening to this album, their lyrics and this song makes me feel many things, how i shouldn't waste my life, fight to live it next to the people i love, give battle and face my demons, it is inevitable to cry every time i hear it, a beauty, a masterpiece.
There's a lot of things in life we may never get over, but we can always get through it. Really take a look at all the little things around you and keep your head up! You got this
Same here mate.. They've gotten me thru some rough times.. I'm actually terminally ill now and spend most of my time wrapping my head around death... Their music tho dark always brings me back to a little positivity among tthe morbidity.....a7x foREVer
This song is a journey. It's beyond a masterpiece...its like a heavenly rising. Been a fan since Waking the Fallen and this has without any questions jumped to my favorite song by AX7.
This has been my favorite band since i was 12, i used to not care about music but when I was introduced i immediately fell in love, you’re music is always so beautiful and meaningful, I will always love this band no matter what anyone says, thank you Matt, Syn,Rev, Brooks, Johnny and everyone else for making beautiful music
The volontaire dissonance in this one song made me travel through space and time. To all those I love dearly, I WILL find my way to you, however long or however many lives it may take. And when I do, I will love you all even more than the time before. Now I know, and Hope has never been this Bright.
Definitely feels like someone fading away, letting us know they’ll still be all around us as we continue forward. Something about how we are all made of matter and death doesn’t change that. Really getting trippy but the goodbye theme to this really hits hard❤
This song feels like the perfect follow-up to many of the songs from the Nightmare album. Starting from So Far Away all the way to Save Me, I felt like I was going through many different phases of grieving over forever losing someone. So Far Away felt like attending a funeral and putting together a sort of facade to mask the hurt because you're trying to be grown up and mature about it, only for that facade to crumble to pieces in God Hates Us as you succumb to devastation. You're hurt, and you want the world to know you're hurt whether you want to admit it or not. In Victim, you haven't healed from the loss and you're begging for closure, maybe bargaining in your mind the people and things you'd trade away to somehow get back what you've lost. You might also be irritated and pissed at people trying to console you with talk about the Lord and His plan for you. In Tonight the World Dies, you're still trying to heal and it's taking months. You struggle to even have normal conversations with other people because sadness is the only thing in the front of your mind. Fiction deserves a mention because I refuse to let it go unmentioned, but it also feels like receiving a transmission from a loved one that traversed the astral plane to reach you that tries to put your mind at ease, but its intended effect is lost on you and instead, you demand better closure and more answers in Save Me. You think you've come to understand the entire picture of what it means to be on this planet, and it's grim as fuck. "We're only here to die." And then, finally, after a long period of time, you get a second reply that gives you more of that closure and even challenges your nihilistic outlook on life in the form of Cosmic. Yes, you can think we live only to choose how we die, but a part of us manages to live on in some other way whether it may be through our preserved legacy, through our progeny, through the people we've influenced in life, and even after death, or through means that transcends beyond our understanding of time and space and that the forces that might've brought us together in the first place might've happened many times before in other lives and may continue to happen again. Like Finn And Jake, for those who're fans of Adventure Time. That's my take on it anyways.
@@enfetkis83 Thank you and everyone else for the kind compliments. I have more to say about this song as well as the others from the Nightmare album that I decided to leave out because I thought my post was getting too long, but I was also a bit worried I didn't clearly express myself either. I'm glad to know that my point of view is resonating well with other people.
I'm back... I couldn't think that I would fall in tears when hearing Comsic live. I've cried my heart yesterday at Rock In Rio, hearing it live for the first time... Thank you, guys, for this marvelous, incredible, iconic song!!!!
I had this feeling too... i think is related to how we all feel about this band and the news that this might be their last album also contributes to a sad feeling in general. I imagine they closing their career with this beautiful song about life and all the time all of us spent togheter.
I've lost count how many times I've listened to this song and can still get emotional at 5:00 onwards. Especially when thinking about lost loved ones. Damn
Wow, i love that this song is like a combination of their other works, some that i can hear are: 0:00 - 1:25 Set me free 2:04 - 3:05 Seize the day solo 3:05 - 4:57 Fiction 5:09 Higher
I was a teenager when i discovered this guys, back in the Self Titled. I'm back here today, as a guy who's starting to find some grey hair, just to testify... what an absolute journey. Rev's passing, the reformulation of the band, the very long years without albums. All coming to this. This absolute masterpiece The band true fucking magnum opus In the future, when I want to remember avenged sevenfold, I will think of that song
0:00 - 1:28 Life. 1:29 - 2:04 Death. 2:05 - 3:05 Falling/Escaping from Hell. 3:06 Saved from Hell. 3:10 - 5:00 Experiencing Heaven Alone. 5:01 - 5:12 You see people who look familiar. 5:13 - 5:34 Reunion with your loved ones. 5:35 - Eternal Happiness with Friends and Loved ones. Amazing song! Paints a mental picture to FEEL Life, Death, Sin/Hell, Being Saved by our Savior and to ultimately Feel Heaven. Thought I'd share to maybe help others feel Heaven.

“Im goneee” gives me the chills every time, hope to sing like that one day. Love Avenged Sevenfold with all of my heart and this song is a new favorite of mine, this and Coming Home, love every avenged sevenfold song but this one really puts a deep feeling inside of me that I can’t explain. Especially when the piano hits, if a song does that to somebody it’s a true masterpiece. I’m glad to be going through highschool and living the time and highschool memories with this music!
This song was the turning point for me. When I heard Nobody and We Love You, to say I was disappointed in LIBAD was an understatement. But then I realized the direction they were going with this album and gave it a real chance. It started to grow on me until I heard this song. Then the whole thing clicked. It's quickly becoming one of my favorite albums from them
My best friend got me into a7x in 2005. I haven’t listened to them much since Rev died but this song was played at my friends funeral. It’s always stuck in my head.
Every time I hear a new version of Bohemian Rhapsody I get what I assume is the tingles people get from ASMR. First on Wayne's world, then the album, then seeing them play it live, then the 3d audio version of it. Never had it from another song before and then I listened to this track and got exactly the same kind of tremor/shiver across my scalp at 3:07. The second song EVER in my experience that I wish I'd never heard so I could hear it for the first time again.
holy f*ck, you guys made me cry. my mom is figthing Stage 4 cancer and it went to get me. She is 56 yrs old and coming to your show this summer with me! Man she knows all the waking the fallen, City of Evil, Self title album as i was learning them on guitar non stop in her basement during my teenager. She would come and tell me you don t have it at that moment... Thanks guys for the memories a new one wiht my daughet (2yrs old) who listen with me your msuic. TW// pregnancy loss This song holds a huge piece of my heart as I found out I was pregnant the same day they released their album. When I heard cosmic for the first time I was overwhelmed with so much happiness and literally cried lol. I had it memorized by the end of the night! I listened to it everyday until the day I recently miscarried. I listened to it again the next day and broke down in tears being an absolute mess. Now whenever I hear the lyrics, “Dancing in the wind, where roses born again, there you’ll find me” I imagine myself dancing in a field of roses with my baby I had prayed for and lost. This song has become my absolute favorite song of all time and I’m so glad they created such an incredible masterpiece!!
I’m so, so sorry for your loss…I can’t even imagine what you’re going through. I know it’s so awful but I’m glad you have this song and A7x to get you through 💜
I listened to this with some headphones on, and my eyes closed, and I felt like I genuinely just traveled through a black hole. I don't know if a song has ever made me forget where I was before. That was incredible. 10/10.
I did that with the whole album, laying in the back of an 18 wheeler, and I genuinely got lost in the music, I was bouncing in the back of a loud truck, but I felt like I was floating through space lol
I remember the first time I listened to this song, right away I knew it was something huge, this my favorite a7x song of all time, It's impossible to describe, Can't wait to listen live.
Honestly didn’t think I’d live this long to enjoy this. I cry every time this song plays because of all the fans that have passed before they got to listen.
I haven't heard an emotionally captivating song such as this in a long time. The lyrics in the last half of the song are poignant and resonate at the core of humanity's journey through the ages. It relates the lives and struggles of the earliest human beings with our current destination, with undeniable empathy and understanding. The line that always gets me is "Sometimes we got it right."
This album is holding me together right now, every few days I relate to a different song and listen to it multiple times. What an album guys, thank you. More than audio here.
i just lost my Brother In-Law......and this song cuts really deep. my favorite song of the album. I love you Avenged!!!! keep on creating masterpieces.

Why am I uncontrollably smiling, laughing and crying to this song?! It makes me feel as if it was made for me. Thank you Avenged Sevenfold and congratulations for your new release!
This song is different. It brings me chills. It's so potent, so filled with feeling. It's weird. It really feels like embarking on a journey with them. And that last part if you have headphones on... My god what a trip. Really amazing

There you'll find me
Before the dawn of man, in castles made of sand
There you'll find me
Writing in the caves as fire lights the way
There you'll find me
Mask of royal glow don in pharaoh's clothes
There you'll find me
Let it go
Yeah
Rings of dust and ice weightless in the night
There you'll find me
Let it go

it feels so weird to me to think about where these guys have come from musically and where they are now. Its kind of like watching your friends grow up with you
exactly!
Thats exactly how i feel too! I started listening to them when i was 13 off city of evil and they have PROGRESSED into REALLY cool people.
Yes man...
Yep. It's bittersweet
The transition from the solo to the piano break is so musically powerful. One of the most beautiful moments I’ve heard in a song in awhile, and I say that as someone who isn’t sold on this album yet

Hands down, the best song on the album. So much feeling...
Same for me as well.
Doesn't have very hard competition honestly.

History will prove that A7x is a proper band. Historic. Legendary. Iconic.
I believe history already has
I think this album will become a legendary banger in the future

Nostalgia for a place & time that never existed.

The end just want me to go see her and tell her how much she help me and give her a real last hug. I just don't want to look like a freak, so I said nothing when I needed to go. She's older, got a child, a boyfriend, a lifi. I just started mine. That’s just what I perceived from listening though!
"We're only here to die."
And then, finally, after a long period of time, you get a second reply that gives you more of that closure and even challenges your nihilistic outlook on life in the form of Cosmic.
I got goosebumps reading this lol.

TW// pregnancy loss
This song holds a huge piece of my heart as I found out I was pregnant the same day they released their album.
Same just lost a very good friend can't imagine loosing a child. I'd pray that youd get better.
If you want more of that experience you should try some Pink floyd. 😊
This is the desired outcome for music imo. Forgetting where you are is the best feeing.
I did that with the whole album, laying in the back of an 18 wheeler, and I genuinely got lost in the music, I was bouncing in the back of a loud truck, but I felt like I was floating through space lol
you should also consider taking some psychedelics with that whole process
Ima try to go into paralysis listening to this…
Im going through brain surgery right now and this song is keeping me alive. I owe the world the avenged sevenfold.
That’s tough .. can’t even imagine how that must feel.
But stay strong friend! 👍 I hope everything was/is a SUCCESS!!! 💪
Hope it's all gone well 🦆🗡️❤️

I cried when I first heard this song 🥺
This song feels like coming home. Welcome back, everyone, we made it
Hi5
Honestly didn’t think I’d live this long to enjoy this. I cry every time this song plays because of all the fans that have passed before they got to listen.
@@shawntholo777asmr9 you and me both, buddy.
Their music always sounds so original and unique. And you can see the older they get, the deeper the meaning they put into their song. I love this song very much, thank you so much for this masterpieces!
Why am I uncontrollably smiling, laughing and crying to this song?! It makes me feel as if it was made for me. Thank you Avenged Sevenfold and congratulations for your new release!
I have laughed a few times listening to this album. And not in an assholish way either.
I smiled through the song for me it felt like being a child again and bringing back all my childhood memories
@Meus Videos Bro, come on
3:05 damn that was so beautiful. I fell in love with this song and the WHOLE album because of this.
This is a masterpiece. The bit after 3:02 forward is the best melodic part they've done since I wont see you tonight. Beautiful.
Yess right? When i listening to this part, i don't know why i'm crying. Tears of happines
This song is different. It brings me chills. It's so potent, so filled with feeling. It's weird. It really feels like embarking on a journey with them. And that last part if you have headphones on... My god what a trip. Really amazing
Avenged sevenfold’s ballads are next level. And cosmic is master class.
I lost a best friend days after this album. And this ate me up
Hope your doing alright man! Rip to your buddy!
Same here buddy. I hope you are doing alright. This song reminds me of him and all good memories.
I CANNOT handle this song! it's the definition of beauty.

i put on this song and suddenly everything seems alright 😊😊
Fade from all there was before
We shut another door, but not a last goodbye
Fate has taken once again
A fight we'll never win
And time again we try
Left alone I can't wait too long, fade
Love, love so many times
And in so many lives
Sometimes we got it right
Pain, it found it's way back in
Until we meet again, into that good night
None too far as we chase through the stars beyond forever
I'll follow you
Dancing in the wind as roses born again
There you'll find me, before the dawn of man
In castles made of sand
There you'll find me, writing in the caves
As fire lights the way
There you'll find me, mask of royal glow
Done in pharaoh's clothes
There you'll find me, let it go
Yeah, rings of dust and ice
Weightless in the night
There you'll find me, let it go
Dancing in the wind as roses born again
There you'll find me, before the dawn of man
In castles made of sand
There you'll find me, writing in the caves
As fire lights the way
There you'll find me, mask of royal glow
Done in pharaoh's clothes
There you'll find me
From all that was before
We shut another door
But not a last goodbye
Taken once again
A fight we'll never win
And time again we try
We loved so many times (I'm gone)
And in so many lives (I'm gone)
Sometimes we got it right
It found it's way back in (I'm gone)
Until we meet again (I'm gone)
Into that good
Matt, I'm taking my son, your biggest fan to see you guys in Maryland heights Amphitheater. So excited counting down the days!
