  • The road to the Super Bowl is never easy, but which teams had the most difficult path? We count down the ten best playoff runs in NFL history based on opponents defeated, or, the biggest giant killers in NFL history.

    Explanation of C-Score:
C-Score is a metric created by this channel to assign an overall value to a football team. It takes a team's:
-Results, including standard and Pythagorean W-L record
-Performance, including game control and play-by-play production
-Quality of opponents, specifically performance level against opponents
and distills all of that into one cumulative and comparative score reflecting the context of the season in question. When applicable, a team's playoff performance is also included.
A C-Score of 0 represents an average football team, whereas anything above 0 represents an above average team and anything below 0 represents a below average team.
A team's record is important, but not always indicative of C-Score. An 11-5 team can rate higher than a 13-3 team or lower than a 9-7 team. Not all records are created equally.

It's amazing that the 2010 Green Bay Packers didn't make the list since they joined the 2005 Pittsburgh Steelers as 6 seeds to sweep four postseason road games to win the Super Bowl. I wonder what their score was. Also, the 1980 Oakland Raiders as the first wild card team to win the Super Bowl after the merger. I'm not disputing the rankings; I just can't help but be curious. I love the fact of the top Giant Killers actually being the New York GIANTS!

Thank you for watching! Nothing wrong with some curiosity. The Packers were around 62.5, 10th place was 73.7 so not too far off. The Eagles and Bears brought em down. The Raiders were at around 52.5, it was a pretty down year for the AFC that season.

    What about the 1980 Raiders?

No 2010 Packers? They finished 10-6 and were the 6th seed who had to go on the road to earn the SB win. Based on the scoring system the Bears probably hurt them but damn that was a heck of a run.

how the hell did the eagles not make this? 2017 was probably the most unpredictable and craziest superbowl run of this era.

I think the teams they beat weren’t that outstanding pats probably boost them up but falcons and Vikings weren’t real contenders imo Vikings beat a better team last second to make the title game

@@edgarramirez747 they literally did it with a back up quarterback

Thank you for watching! It certainly was a crazy run. Never seen a #1 seed be an underdog in all of their playoffs games, but that was a product of overreacting to one player not being in the lineup while the rest of the team was stacked. In reality, the '17 Eagles rank among the top half of Super Bowl champions (ruclips.net/video/hF6c0IyOATQ/видео.html) and were better than the three teams they beat in the playoffs. They added up to a 59.1, well short of the top ten.

I’m surprised 2010 packers aren’t here but it may just be the nfc wasn’t that hard to beat?
