Great yoga for beginners! Whether you want to practice a specific pose or a core/strength routine, it's best to start with a warm up. This Basic Yoga Warm Up will get your blood flowing no matter how advanced of a yogi you might be. Try the 💙 *HIPS SLOW STRETCH:* bit.ly/25minHIPS
Hi Sarah, I am a complete beginner, 16 st (210ish pounds) and I'm 55. I have been following this video for a few days and I enjoy it. As I said I am a complete beginner so this video alone is enough for me for the time being (I go through it twice) Thank you for the vid.
I did this warm up before my workout routine and then some leg flexibility stretches for high kicks in martial arts for some time. Now I can touch my toes for the first time in my life, and do a head hight round house kick.
SarahBethYoga SarahBethYoga SarahBethYoga Thank you for the reply (despite it being almost a year late, haha)! I still use this warm up routine before working out some times and I’m starting to add one of your morning yoga routines to my daily schedule.
I always do this warm up routine prior to practising surya namaskar (sun salutations). This sequence helps greatly to warm up the lower back and the hamstrings.
I just tried your flexibility1 video and I loved it! This is going to be my morning routine for couple weeks until I don't feel as rusty as I am feeling now. Thank you so much.
OMG, I'm 75kg and I love you this very convenient, and thanks, I will keep it up to workout yoga, but sadly I can't do power yoga for weight loss, but I will try
thank you soooo much!!!!, the warmup and cooldown are so nice, i do this really intensieve workout in between and your warmup and cooldown really helps prevent really aching painfull and sore muscles.
I have had this video sitting in my library for so long and hadn't gone into it cause you are so amazing i wanted to be able to keep up. so i practiced and had some life tragedies that slowed me down but came back to yoga and decided today to finally finish this video and I'm so glad i did. my type of scoliosis restricts my arms from going behind me but today somehow i was able to do prayer hands on my lower back......i almost cried cause i have struggled with this for so long i still can't interlace so well but i actually did prayer hands!! Thank you for what you do. i can finally keep up!!!
im a year late on this but maybe it would help to take it a little slower and go at your own pace. the constant up & down can be kind of a lot especially for beginners or for someone who gets dizzy easily like me lol
thank u so much ......... u r doing an amazing job..........u have an amazing body language..............i am a student and i will follow this definitely..............
Hi, what are your thoughts on foam-rolling (before, during or after) yoga? I have attended yoga classes previously but found it difficult to get into as I've had some limited joint mobility alongside feeling quite tight with certain muscle groups (particularly hamstrings and calves). Really like the detailed and clear explanations in your videos btw.
Listen to your body and do what feels good for you. I recommend aligning your joints for proper muscles engagement and protecting your joints from strain but ultimately your body will tell you what is good for you.
+Moutou1992 Nope! Do this before any "Yoga Routine" but the warm up is already built into a "Yoga Practice" I label each of my videos so you know what is a routine and what is a practice. I also discuss the difference in a video you can find in my "Yoga BEGINNERS" playlist :)
A noob gamer like you have no idea what is good in the life. You are just a little fake that wins nothing in your life. Better you go home and cry in mums arms or stand up and makes clean your cheap life😂😂😂
The exercises are good but the instructor is too fast and especially for BEGINNERS as the title suggests you can't expect us to know what those poses names are in the first class. Even when you pause the video and unpause it doesn't help much as she's already moved to the next pose🤦♀️
Its not to fast, you are to low thats all. That is a just normal basic warmup. If you beginning with our yoga make sure that you finish it in 8 or 10 minutes. But if you need until next christmas then let it go.
too fast for a beginner.. i find myself having to rush postures to keep up with you. i cant even feel the stretches, feels like a work out rather than a warm up for beginners
Do the routines in videos framed blue - those are stretches. This one - as anyone framed turquoise - is a "flow", they go "one breath one movement". Those are usually for ones who are already familiar with poses and moves. Sarah Beth has a video explaining yoga styles. You can choose what suits your ability and temper. Personally, I prefer hatha (blue framed videos) and restorative (purple). ruclips.net/video/6y9hyZLG4fc/видео.html
This is not to fast. Its basic and if you need more time then learning the video before practise or give your practise more time. Just do it every day and months after this video you can do pretty basic yoga
The planks on this video is the best warm up for legs. Maybe you dont know what you comment. Its an easy and good enough way to warm up your legs when you works with chaturanga dandasana and plank poses

Description is hide everything can't see your poses not very well😭
if this is for beginners, I need a pre- beginners warm up. ;)
What can’t you do this is just basic poses and stretches
Same lol I could barely catch up to the up down, up down,
i can already feel my self getting out of breath. going to try this though none the less.
@@zakiry8634 I, for instance, can't do planks at all

This yoga warm up is so easy but so wonderfull yoga practise🧘🏻♂️thank you very much👏👏👏
Maybe I'm really out of shape, but the speed and movement of these felt like an actual workout..
I always do this warm up routine prior to practising surya namaskar (sun salutations). This sequence helps greatly to warm up the lower back and the hamstrings.
That's great to hear! ❤️
That was amazing even before a deeper Yoga Practice! Feels amazing, thank you❤

I love this warmup, and start my yoga workouts each day with this one.
Thank you.
I particularly liked the bend down hold elbows and swing.
Felt good on my hamstrings.
You're very welcome! ❤️

Build strength and endurance through yoga's dynamic movements.

This is a great way to start the day and/or a longer sequence, depending on how much time I have.
Thankyou Sarah. I used this as a pre workout stretches and felt really good and stretchy. Short but effective. Thankyou so much. Stay blessed.
You’re so welcome! 💙 I'm glad you're enjoying them!
I tried doing this but it felt like more of an actual workout than a warm up, any advice on how to make it less painful?
The more you do it, the easier it will become :)
@@psahota9306 Seems fair, I'll try to put it into practice!
Idk seemed like a warmup to me-
im a year late on this but maybe it would help to take it a little slower and go at your own pace. the constant up & down can be kind of a lot especially for beginners or for someone who gets dizzy easily like me lol
I’d say, that for this one take 5 minutes to warm up your wrists first.
thank u so much ......... u r doing an amazing job..........u have an amazing body language..............i am a student and i will follow this definitely..............
Namaste 🙏 💆🏻♀️
Was perfect for today, thank you! Will be starting my day to this if my time is limited.

Love the presentation, music and cues 👌

Absolutely love this!!!!

This was nice after my walk.
Enjoyed your class today! Have a great day.
Thank you! ❤️
yay i can stretch good for fencing
I do this everytime before I workout
I've been doing yoga for nearly 20 years and this is one of the best warm up on YT. I did this before an intense kettlebell workout. Perfection :oD
20 decades=200 years
+S A ArJun well spotted and now changed. :oD
Great to hear! ❤️
Thanks Sara :)
You're very welcome! ❤️
Hi Sarah! What kind of mat do you use?
The warm up is great! Thanks for posting. The music is really annoying though
This is basically a sun salutation right?
Thank you so much! :))
You're very welcome! ❤️
these are basic yoga. i keyed warm up for yoga
helpful
Wow Yogas amazing :P
It may be harmful for joints to not have the wrists and shoulders in the same vertical line when you are doing cat cow??
Listen to your body and do what feels good for you. I recommend aligning your joints for proper muscles engagement and protecting your joints from strain but ultimately your body will tell you what is good for you.
hello! do we need to do this before every yoga session ? I'm new to yoga and I'm wondering if we always need to warm up before doing yoga...
+Moutou1992 Nope! Do this before any "Yoga Routine" but the warm up is already built into a "Yoga Practice"

How much calories does this warm up burn
basic my booty so much memorization
Lost track at 6:00; what are all those terms?! Really confused so just gave up.
Hi Elisabeth! Practice it a few times and the terms will start to make sense. It may help to just watch what I am doing one time through.
good
I'm a beginner and need the instructions. The music is too loud and makes it hard to hear them.
This is the perfect warm up but I'd be embarrassed to do this at my gym
plsss suggest some yoga for beautiful and strong hairs.............
Cool warm up. Not such a fan of the music though x
Respectfully, You started strong with some nice different stretches but then devolved into the basic sun salutations for the last 3 minutes.
Yes, basic sun salutations are what I would consider a basic warm up 😉
Devolved?
I felt like she was going so fast maybe it cause I haven’t done any exercise since quarantine
A very good video, the music isn’t though
how do you make yoga fun? I just get bored easily..
Try my Power Yoga videos! The challenge and growth makes them fun 😃
I am not flexible enough for this lol
Fun fact, Sarah Beth also works as an auctioneer.
A noob gamer like you have no idea what is good in the life. You are just a little fake that wins nothing in your life. Better you go home and cry in mums arms or stand up and makes clean your cheap life😂😂😂
Video was great but the music was so sinister

you forgot to say Simon says.
Nobody need your comments you noob!!
the music is distracting
I can't hold a downward dog 😭 My hands slide out and I end up falling on my face
It got way too fast, couldn't catch up :'(
The music is terribly
Actually, the music in Sarah Beth's videos is the only one I can stand and even enjoy.

Yeah, I couldn't follow
Too much head upside down moves. Gave me a bad headache 🤕
maybe ur not breathing properly ?? cuz it’s not supposed to give u a headache
Too repetitive. Not a very good warm up for all of your leg muscles
The planks on this video is the best warm up for legs. Maybe you dont know what you comment. Its an easy and good enough way to warm up your legs when you works with chaturanga dandasana and plank poses
