About a year ago, I fully switched my kit from Sony to Fuji. Mostly for a lot of the same reasons you talk about here. The Fuji cameras I tried out inspired me to want to shoot. I got the X100V first, for all of my EDC/personal camera needs. For my professional work camera, I went with the GFX100S. The big difference in the two helps keep that line between work and personal like you talked about. I am considering one of the new X-H2 bodies for something in the middle though. Haha

WOW. I’m in the same boat. I want to switch from Sony, maybe just bored of it. But my A7iv cost the same as a Fuji X H2 S. I do mainly video. Also, the Sony lens ecosystem is incredible.
I’m going to rent the Xh2s asap. It’s usually rented out for at least a month ahead of time. The other issue is that it probably wouldn’t look the best if I try to match my Sony a 74 with the Fuji for my wedding films. So I would have to make a complete switch.
Same… Although, the great money and ease of selling Sony gear would certainly fund a full FUJIFILM kit… I’m scared of pressing the ‘add to cart’ button at the moment.
I think what fujifilm did with the H series is very smart. Fujifilm wants something for everyone, those who want more of a "professional" style camera will go with the XH2/S. Those who want that classic feel/style can go with the XT series, let's just wait and see what the XT5 will be like. No doubt it will be awesome.
I have the Fuji X-T3 and I'm already thinking about how the X-T5 will be if they don't put the articulated screen like they did with the X-T4, it will be very beautiful.
Would love some SOOC comparisons of Sony A7IV and some Fuji cameras. I think there are a lot of people on the fence and there aren't many good comparisons out there that just show pictures!
Great Review Manny. I was a Sony user since I am not a professional switched to Fuji and loving it. The autofocus bugs me on the XT4 because of the inconsistency but the retro dials make up for it. Ended up getting a x100V based on your reviews. It’s such a great camera to take everywhere even on the subway on my way to work. I think XH2 is next on my list.
@@DustAdventures if you need the 40 megapixel yes. But if you want faster focus and more accurate tracking XH2S. It’s meant to have better autofocus than xT4.
I said this on another video on the xh2 but i'll say it again. The high iso performance ive seen on this is pretty amazing for a crop sensor camera. I'm almost sold on getting this
Thanks for your review. I wonder which camera is better between Z7ii and X-H2? I'm thinking of buying new photos gears but I couldn't find a comparison test between those two cameras, so could you give me your feedback? Another question, does the X-H2 include the Fujifilm jpg filters like the X-T serie?
Hi Manny, thanks for your review. I really enjoyed and appreciated your very straightforward commentary and your sincerity about your thoughts and feelings concerning your photography. I've been shooting with the X-S10 and love it quite a lot. I'm seriously considering also getting the X-H2. I'd most likely keep my X-S10, maybe even use both at the same time. Anyway, nice hanging out with you the last 12 minutes! Cheers, Steve
Completely feel what you’re saying. I’ve been using X100 and XT cameras (after Canon) for 13 years now and it’s the colors. Photos are so beautiful sooc. I’ve been using an XH2S for the past two months and it is really worlds apart from those cameras. So much better in many regards. I’m looking forward to trying out an XH2. I think it will be a good complement to the 2S. Thank you.
Do the film look come like that in raw files or just in JPEG? I’m considering switching from canon as it doesn’t allow third party lenses. But I still don’t know how does it work when it comes to those film reproductions
@@jorgemendez4517 It will allow third party lenses in a few years but canon made a statement that they want to fully focus on perfecting the RF lens mount before giving it to other third party companies. That being said, look out for third party lens makers to come out with RF lenses within the next year or two. However, I bought an R6 and loved it but didnt fall in love with it. I tried a Fujifilm camera out and fell in love instantly.
Agree a lot about the ergonomics, with one exception; the screen. I’m a landscape shooter and get into some pretty unforgiving environments. I borrowed an XH2 from Fuji to try out the 40Mp sensor and found I was always terrified that the screen was going to get broken off when I had it extended. I did like the sensor though and eventually bought an XT5.
How has your experience been with the XH2 AF? You briefly touched on it, but I've heard numerous people say the XH2s has been inconsistent with the AF. I have been thinking of going with Fuji professionally, but I don't want to be missing wedding shots in the moment because the camera won't focus for me. Thoughts?
Yes 40mp fuji files are truly great. I use Sony A1, Leica M11 and everything that came before that (including Fuji xt4 etc.) The XT5 and XH2 with the 18mm 1.4 WR and 56mm 1.4 are all I actual need for magical results (unless I need really really high focus speed) ✨📸
Currently tossing up whether I should stick with Nikon and get the Z6II, get a Sony or get the X-T5/X-H2. I'm leaning more towards the X-H2. Thanks for the lens recommendations.
@@shadowmaster41 All mentioned cameras are great and perform better than most photographers can ever want. Personally I Lover the XT5 because of it's small size, light weight and tactile buttons (after all, all you really need to change is Aperture - Shutter speed - ISO) But again it is all very personal 😊👍🏼
@@mauricerijnders3507 that's true. I'm still relatively new. I started learning photography using the Nikon D5100 at my office and just last year in November bought myself the Nikon Z30 but already I can see where it falls short from time to time. I have the opportunity to possibly upgrade so I'm debating just going full frame OR get the best that crop sensor and be done with it. I've been back and forth on this decision daily
@@shadowmaster41 yes, picking a camera is a tough and fun process 😃 I would advise you to prioritize your needs/wishes and work from there. Do you: - Travel a lot? (weight) - Work a lot with fast moving subjects? (af) - Like a shallow depth of field and dreamy pictures (lenses) - Want to enjoy taking pictures. Not only the end result but enjoying the proces.(Haptics, buttons, in camera profiles). - Photograph a lot at night? For example: How important is weight? An XT 5 is light but equally importantly so are the lenses (Small sensor = small lenses). The 70-300 is a great travel tele lens for documentary (Maybe not for sport ;) I have some full frame 2.8 tele lenses. Most of the time @ home because they are too heavy to carry around all dat 😅 The XT 5 haptics are great and gives you the feeling that you are more involved in the making proces. Sony has blazing AF but to me feels a bit computer like. Less fun to hold and operate. If your susceptible for such things 😁 Nikon leans a bit towards Sony although I like the ergonomics of Nikon better (better "camera in your hand" feeling). I can go on for a while, but you get my drift. You often hear: "There is no perfect camera". I would disagree with that. There are so many cameras that there is one for everybody. The perfect camera is the one that fits your needs. 👍🏼✨
@@mauricerijnders3507 maaan you said a mouthful but I definitely appreciate the insight. The X-T5 is also about $200 cheaper than the X-H2 but I feel like the H2 is a better camera. I'm gonna go look at the differences again and make a determination. In your experience though. Is there a massive quality difference between full frame and APS-C?
The guts of the XH2 bodies are amazing. The ergos; mushy thumb stick, lack up tactile inputs, front and back dials don’t push in, S/C/M toggle is a button now, HDR/S/M/CL/CH is gone too. I love me some Fuji but this camera was definitely not made for me. In my opinion, the XH2 isn’t designed for “professionals” , it’s designed for users that are moving from systems with a similar UI/ergos BUT adding the unexplainable Fuji flare. I think Fuji had to make a decision; capture THIS market and risk pissing off a few long time customers or keep us customers happy. From a business standpoint, they did the right thing. If they strip away things that made the XT/X Pro/X 100 series special, they’ll have potentially soured the customers that gush about how amazing Fuji is. Or, that customer *may move to a GFX system BUT as you stated, this design is in the. GFX 50s II and 100s bodies. The XS10 has this language too and I avoided that camera. Solid 48 breakdown man. I think you nailed it in saying the images come out looking like memories. And they aren’t always perfect and that’s what makes them special.
I have no doubt that it is a wonderful camera, but I prefer what I consider to the “traditional” camera style. I enjoy the dials of the X-Pro and X-T cameras and will continue to use them.
@@litehour same reason why I still use the xt1 idk for some reason that old camera gives me the pictures I want from a film camera without the hassle of developing and stuff
ive got R6 and... AF its not so good. really its not :/ I'm planning to but GFX100s and looking about some other, second quicker camera and probably chose X-H2. Good combo for weddings? 🧐
The film simulations are great fun in Jpeg. I even like bracketing film simulations. Really fun to see the creativity straight out of the camera. Looking to buy the XH2 or XS 10. Just need to rent the CH2 to test it and feel the ergonomics.
Manny I believe fujifilm meant video for the 13 and 14 stops of dynamic range because the xh2 definitely has better dynamic range and arguably better low light capabilities
Yes you're right Cardinal. A stacked sensor's electronic shutter (like the X-H2S's) has an advantage in DR compared to a regular backlit sensor (like the X-H2's).
After using the XH2s autofocus, there’s basically nothing the H2 can do to win me over. I’m done wasting time and energy on soft/missed or chasing focus. I’ll trade the extra 15mp and 2K video every single day to know the autofocus got it right with the h2s when I need it to take over. I can’t believe they didn’t do more to match the autofocus to the h2s since they could’ve been such a strong pair. The h2 is arguably the stronger photo camera where autofocus should feel as good as the h2s.
compared to the R5 and RF 85mm f1.2, how many shots would you expect the x-h2 with the new 56mm lens to be in focus. I don't like the colours of the r5 and the fact that it is so big and heavy with the rf 85, I want to move to the x-h2 but my couples portrait work has to be on point.
@SethiPhotography The fuji is going to be closer to a 1.8 than a 1.2 because of the sensor. You will have the 85mm equivalent field of view, however with the 56mm compression. Personally, you can get by easily with both cameras. Though, if it were up to me... I'd keep your current setup all day. Not to mention my experience with Fuji support sucked, others may have great luck with that though.
@@Makta972 Same. The Fuji has potential for great images but also weird bugs. I had more issues on both my Fuji's than any other camera i've owned. I have a Panasonic S1R now, and I love it. The autofocus is weak, but everything else is solid. Since I mainly shoot products and macro that is fine.
As much as I loved the review, am I the only one who can see the burnt out look in his eyes. I don't see the same excitement that we normally get in his videos. His tone of voice, facial expressions... everything. Manny are you ok dawg? I hope all is well for you my man 🙏🏾
I’ve been watching you for about 3 years. I’ve lived in Chicago for most of my life and now living in Kamakura Japan. I trust your honest “real user/experience “ feedback. Finally decided to add a Fuji to my bags. Currently, A7Riv and Siii. Not sure on XH1,2 or T4? I’ll eventually trade in both SONY’s to get (1)high end SONY yet to be announced. Too much invested in glass. My plan for FUJi mainly Photography. Thoughts? Next time in Japan, please schedule a meet up! And bring some hotdogs! None here!
Looking for them to add the ability to add ISO to one of the command dials like the previous cameras via firmware update. Being limited to Aperture and SS doesn’t make much since, given that all native lenses (as far as I know of) have aperture rings. That level of customization really set us apart from other companies. But with this, it makes me feel like we’re heading towards an overly digital set up that takes away from some of what made Fuji so special and different. It’s like they tried to please sony users with this, which isn’t necessary. I think the ISO button is a great addition, as long as our options aren’t taken away. That flexibility with the dials is more suitable for fast paced shooting in my opinion. My set up was Right Index on Front Dial (SS), Thumb on Back Dial (ISO), Left Hand under lens for Aperture - it was so intuitive and fluid as opposed to having to press a button and change the ISO on screen.
Manny that was so real and an awesome production of video sound and background music. More importantly it is spot on what you say about Fuji in every regard. The colors film simulations there new glass. I’m using both GFX 100s and currently every other Fuji camera made😅. I also shoot Nikon z9. I think the AF on both manufacturers will close the gap in C-AF in the very near future. Love your honesty Manny!
i dnt think there is a gap to close really.... is a having 983 photos in focus vs 980 photos over 1000ones really a gap? nope. The only gap is youtubers telling us the tech is there lol.
Hi from Uruguay, Manny ! Hola :) Could you be so kind to tell me which flash are you using with this camera? I finally got it, and it's arriving tomorrow! But I need a flash, so please , could you help me out? And if you use a controller mention about it as well. Merry Christmas!
Man, one simple question. Does Fuji X-H2 record video to external SSD via USB-C? Fuji X-T4 can't do that. I'm curious. Thank you for nice content. Like.
It’s a sexy camera. I’m not one that cares for the “prism” especially on a mirrorless camera, because there is no mirror, so no need for a prism. But I love how on this, they lowered the profile of it where it’s almost in line with the top plate. It looks fantastic, and I bet it’s super comfortable to use.
Hey I'm so happy I got to meet you at the event. I'm so sad I did not get to stay longer but I love the photos that came out of the camera when I got to try it also :)
Was thinking of moving to a Canon R5 from a 5D4 but now considering this and a GFX100s for slower moving subjects and environmental portraits (love the files from that 100s). My concern is that there doesn't seem to be a good 70-200 f2.8 equivalent in apsc? and is the XH2 a real ff replacement for pro commercial work?
I keep telling myself I'm done buying Fuji cameras. For one thing, the x-trans that drives me nuts in Lightroom...and next, I didn't need or want a shutter speed dial or exposure comp dial (OK if there's one, but I'd rather have the top screen). So now...here they come with a 40 MP sensor with IBIS and in a great DSLR style body I like to use. Dang it. Have one on order now. A few other things I like...the grip, the upgraded EVF, dual card slots that are just like my Z7 II (CFexpress + SD), the option to change aperture via the command dial instead of the lens aperture ring (never liked using the ring). Well, I assume since there's no SS dial and we have a traditional DSLR style setup that you can assign the aperture changes to the front or rear dial (think I saw that in the XH2s owner manual). I think this will be a nice pair/second camera to my Z7 II. I've always enjoyed the Fuji experience overall, even with the dials I didn't need, but this body should really tick all the boxes for me.
@@blade1535 I loved the X-H2 and I had zero problems with it. Image quality and the autofocus (including AF-C / tracking) is excellent. I ended up switching back to Nikon because I bought the X-H2 BEFORE the Nikon Z8 was announced. I generally prefer Nikon high end cameras as my default choice, but I had no idea how big and how much $ the rumored Z8 would cost (at the time I didn't even know if the Z8 rumors were real, when it would come, etc). So I bought the X-H2 and was totally happy with it, but once the Z8 came out I decided to get the Z8 since it was better than I expected it to be. Long story short, I would have been perfectly happy with the X-H2, if the Z8 didn't exist. I have a photo gallery on my website with some X-H2 photos if you'd like to see them. Just go to my RUclips profile and you'll see my website. There's a link to the X-H2 gallery on the main page.
im so interested in this camera how do you find the image quality vs fullframe like canon r5 or sony? in terms of details, color depth, dynamic range and high iso? is it also good for video? this is a real compact system, lightweight and easy to pack and carry Thank you
Nice video. Your comments about the new 56mm WR make me think that I just got a bad copy. I was using it with the X-H2S and found the focus to be slow and not very responsive in AF-C mode on moving subjects. Maybe I should try out another copy and see if it does better than the one I purchased previously.
Some help me out I’m looking to see how to turn the LCD Screen on top of the camera off, it’s been draining my battery and it’s annoying to take the battery out every night
Just got mine yesterday and its really pleasing to take photos but still yet to do some learning especially shooting video, but shutter basically you can't hear the sound when it takes photos
@@sydneynomura281 I enjoy it way better than I did with the R6. The XH2S is a more pro like camera with more features and better ways to make the camera your own (customisation features) plus the colours out of the Fujifilm cameras can’t be matched. I used it with the Tamron 17-70 and last week added the Sigma 56mm 1.4 which I got used on adorama for $309, that I will use mostly with the XH2 once it’s shipped this week.
@@seanimal3 is this better? No it doesn’t, there’s almost two stops difference in dynamic range compared to full frame sensors. No it doesn’t compete or beat full frame.
AF performance: the lens is the bottleneck, not the camera. The AF works fine, could be compared with Sonys A7 IV, but the new 50/1.2 hasn't a fast motor. Try the 33/1.4... completely different experience.
What about 3 dimensionality? I feel like the higher the megapixels, the flatter the image. Higher dynamic range sure, but there's something missing in the colour that makes images fall flat. What do you think?
You might not like the Classic Chrome film simulation that was used for many of the photos in the video. You also might be picking up on the APS-C sensor not providing as much subject separation as a full-frame sensor in many situations. I *have* heard that the XH-2s with its stacked sensor does seem a little muddier than the XH-2 and older Fuji cameras. But, that's unconfirmed by me. And, "muddier" in that sense might be a bit like some really awesome Sony cameras. I guess it looks bayer than x-trans... if anyone can really tell the difference.
@@martinreport I wasn't looking that closely. It's more what I've noticed from editing the files from my XT3 and XT1. The earlier sensor recorded so much more shadow detail. It allowed considerable underexposure to raise in post. Those big pixels made images you could look at forever. Now with my XT3 I always expose to the right, in fear of the noisy shadow areas. The colour gets sacrificed. In capture one, I work the colours of the Xtrans iii files hard, with great results, but I'm nostalgic for when it wasn't necessary. At best, more mp will provide equivalent results to X trans iii. They should stack the sensor for lowest possible noise, not through put. I'd be happy with 20 megapixels!
I once had the Nikon D800 and I loved the latitude those images had, literally could recover any image no matter what I did wrong, unfortunately it was just too bulky and heavy. So I went the complete opposite and got a gh4, did not enjoy the photos coming out of that camera and could only do very little with them. Went with Fuji and I've been really happy, it is the best of both worlds but still I miss the images coming out of the nikon, maybe this camera will give me that.
so on point at the end. Bought a X100V just before my daughter was born cause my A7iii started to feel like work so I wasn't taking it anywhere with me. X100V has been taken everywhere and EVEN inspired me to start shooting film so invested in a Contax T2 too. Can't beat the Sony focus system and it's one hell of a tool but you're right, there's something about those Fuji cameras wanting you to pick them up.
My X-T4 is unfortunately defective, I had it sent away under warranty for a sensor remap. The on board software just couldn't do it, so now after having it away for a month and coming back it was fine for about 10 minutes but is back again with the same problem but in different places on the sensor. As of now after just having my X-T4 for just 2 months i'm looking at the X-H2 since i'm mainly wanting video performance and the X-H2 seems to offer that for me and the upcoming X-T5 not having a battery grip and an articulated screen put me off it, I love the articulating screen and need the battery grip for extended video recording. I love the X-T4's layout it's one of the best i've used and totally trashes my Pansconic's I've had its just so fluid and easy. With the X-H2 I will be sad not having the controls but under the skin beyond the dials on top it's just a better X-T4, I'll miss the short but sweet time I've had with the X-T4.
Originally I preordered this but figured I could get the A7iv for 500 more. Better AF and its FF. I have the XH1 and I like it but dont love it. However, I'm not done with Fuji. I want this to be around for a few mos to see if I really want it.

@@DustAdventures if you need the 40 megapixel yes. But if you want faster focus and more accurate tracking XH2S. It’s meant to have better autofocus than xT4.
Very relevant if your perception has changed. I'm Fuji user (have had sonys and canons in the past) and for me Fuji is love for photography.
I said this on another video on the xh2 but i'll say it again. The high iso performance ive seen on this is pretty amazing for a crop sensor camera. I'm almost sold on getting this
In addition to the standard font of your name on the light modifier, get your signature on there too, Manny. Will look classy.
I bought the new X-H series for work but I’m keeping my old trusty X-T4 for fun. I can shoot all day with the X-H2S but it’s not as fun as my T4.
Refreshing take on the new Fuji cameras! Most reviews just kept pumping out specs and numbers.
Let me know you suggest me Fujifilm x-h2 or x-h2s which one is better for camera photo only?
This brother is ta-len-ted!!!! Really amazing work
Thanks for your review.
I wonder which camera is better between Z7ii and X-H2?
I'm thinking of buying new photos gears but I couldn't find a comparison test between those two cameras, so could you give me your feedback?
Another question, does the X-H2 include the Fujifilm jpg filters like the X-T serie?
I can't help but smile from the model doing that walk 🤣 very cute haha
@@sydneynomura281 what is fuji giving you that canon did not give you?
This is the first time I’ve been this early to a video 🎉 keep up the dope work bro u have help motivate me to keep push in my photography journey
Fuji can be used for professional use I love it customers are very satisfied
Xh2 vs xh2s vs xt5, which one should i pick?
Agree a lot about the ergonomics, with one exception; the screen. I’m a landscape shooter and get into some pretty unforgiving environments. I borrowed an XH2 from Fuji to try out the 40Mp sensor and found I was always terrified that the screen was going to get broken off when I had it extended. I did like the sensor though and eventually bought an XT5.
At 5:25 there's some form of cage/adapter in shot - what's that? Is that holding the vlog camera?
Would you buy the A7IV or the X-H2? I have a X100V and love the colours, but the better AF of the Sony appeals to me.
Totally with your family pics thoughts. I'm a videographer and also like photo, and I shoot every family meeting with Fuji too! :)
Do you HAVE to use a CF Express card or can you use two SD cards with this camera?
@@shadowmaster41 yes, picking a camera is a tough and fun process 😃
I would advise you to prioritize your needs/wishes and work from there. Do you:
- Travel a lot? (weight)
- Work a lot with fast moving subjects? (af)
- Like a shallow depth of field and dreamy pictures (lenses)
- Want to enjoy taking pictures. Not only the end result but enjoying the proces.(Haptics, buttons, in camera profiles).
- Photograph a lot at night?
For example:
How important is weight? An XT 5 is light but equally importantly so are the lenses (Small sensor = small lenses). The 70-300 is a great travel tele lens for documentary (Maybe not for sport ;) I have some full frame 2.8 tele lenses. Most of the time @ home because they are too heavy to carry around all dat 😅
The XT 5 haptics are great and gives you the feeling that you are more involved in the making proces.
Sony has blazing AF but to me feels a bit computer like. Less fun to hold and operate. If your susceptible for such things 😁
Nikon leans a bit towards Sony although I like the ergonomics of Nikon better (better "camera in your hand" feeling).
I still shoot with my H1 which I still love. But I will be getting the H2 and I'm sure it will do everything I need it to do for my work and clients.
Which camera was that that you had in your hand at 9:10 in the video? Thank you.
I enjoy the dials of the X-Pro and X-T cameras and will continue to use them.
same here, only reason i wont switch from my xt4
@@litehour same reason why I still use the xt1 idk for some reason that old camera gives me the pictures I want from a film camera without the hassle of developing and stuff
ive got R6 and... AF its not so good. really its not :/ I'm planning to but GFX100s and looking about some other, second quicker camera and probably chose X-H2. Good combo for weddings? 🧐
Hey, Manny, great video! Which camera would you recommend for real estate video and photography? Fuji XH2, XH2s or Lumix S5iis? Thanks!
@@goodbokeh XH2 is good for photography, 2S is good for video.
I’m still confused what to buy, should I go with XH2 or X T5 😢
Pro -> X-H2
Hobbyist -> X-T5
@@skatertwig26 I'd keep the R5. Not going back to small sensor
Hi Manny, desktop or laptop for editing photos?
And if laptop, Wich one?
As much as I loved the review, am I the only one who can see the burnt out look in his eyes. I don't see the same excitement that we normally get in his videos. His tone of voice, facial expressions... everything. Manny are you ok dawg? I hope all is well for you my man 🙏🏾
Y’all is the xh2 40 megapixels enough to do large prints ? Trying to see if this is for me for street photography and some landscapes
Like the videos. One question, why no lens hoods, is it to get more flare?
I think the AF on both
manufacturers will close the
gap in C-AF in the very near future.
Like.
I am sold on this ! getting one for sure.
What kind of starter lenses would you recommend if I were to stay under a 3k budget with the camera
Hi Manny, what kind of mount do you use for your bts cam and where do you place it? Please and thank you
Hi mate, worth to wait XT5? or just go XH2?
It’s a sexy camera. I’m not one that cares for the “prism” especially on a mirrorless camera, because there is no mirror, so no need for a prism. But I love how on this, they lowered the profile of it where it’s almost in line with the top plate. It looks fantastic, and I bet it’s super comfortable to use.
Hey I'm so happy I got to meet you at the event. I'm so sad I did not get to stay longer but I love the photos that came out of the camera when I got to try it also :)
Does it have a crop at 60fps?
Awesome review, Manny! It was great to meet you in NY
Fujinon XF 50-140 f/2.8 R LM OIS WR
How did you go with the H2?
How much difference is there in image quality from Fuji apsc compared to full frame Sony, canon & Nikon flagship cameras?
im so interested in this camera
how do you find the image quality vs fullframe like canon r5 or sony? in terms of details, color depth, dynamic range and high iso? is it also good for video?
this is a real compact system, lightweight and easy to pack and carry
Thank you
Got it on pre order, can’t wait till the end of the month man. Sold my x-t4 for this
“They look…like a memory” That hit different bro. Says it all. 👍🏻

@@AsuquoTravelsProductions how do you enjoy the XH2S compared to the R6?
@@sydneynomura281 I enjoy it way better than I did with the R6. The XH2S is a more pro like camera with more features and better ways to make the camera your own (customisation features) plus the colours out of the Fujifilm cameras can’t be matched. I used it with the Tamron 17-70 and last week added the Sigma 56mm 1.4 which I got used on adorama for $309, that I will use mostly with the XH2 once it’s shipped this week.

the lens options are undeniable. I currently sold my R6.
AF performance: the lens is the bottleneck, not the camera. The AF works fine, could be compared with Sonys A7 IV, but the new 50/1.2 hasn't a fast motor. Try the 33/1.4... completely different experience.
You are probably right, but being a wedding and portrait photographer you have to use the 56/1.2 as a 85/1.8 equivalent lens.
I’ll wait for these features to hit the X-T5. I’m not a fan of the new X-H2 settings. It looks like it’ll shoot like a canon or Sony
Do you love the 50mm 1.0 also?
I only ever hear great things about Fuji. I do want the x100V.
Ok manny, are you going to buy one of the H cameras for professional work?
Does anyone know if with the XH2-S film simulation mode works in R.A.W?
so on point at the end.
ADP 56 doesn’t allow the camera to use phase detect AF on previous cameras which is why you noted it was slower.
3:12 Almost looks like one of the middle pigeons only has a head.
3:26 What happens to the lighting?
I wish I had the funds to buy all the cameras I want. I'd have bodies and lenses for pretty much every system because they all have their perks.
Originally I preordered this but figured I could get the A7iv for 500 more. Better AF and its FF.
I have the XH1 and I like it but dont love it. However, I'm not done with Fuji. I want this to be around for a few mos to see if I really want it.
