- Rest In Peace Mom, This video is for you.
Well, I'm back everyone. It's been a tough month and a half, but it feels good to get back out and do some camping. For my return video I've found a bank of clothing donation bins that turned out to be the perfect place for a little #stealthcamping. I'm still in #NovaScotia for a bit longer and will be getting much, much more camping done. Stay tuned my friends!

"Life, I'm coming for you!" Lovely to see you again, and that you've found your peace.
I'm more of a "nothing to see here life, just walk away, mind your business" kind of a guy.
quote of the year!
❤❤❤
Coming right atcha! ❤️
Hi I enjoy your videos ! My condolences on the passing of your mother. I'm a senior living in oshawa. There is a historical house near Yarmouth "Jacob Tedford house" Jacob Tedford was my great great grandfather. Hope u get to visit it. Address is No 1 highway in the community of. Dayton. Hope u don't meet a tick. 6:05
The man endures the two worst events in life, yet still is grateful and humble. THAT is why we love him.
Not only that, but roughly the same time of year for both. Steve definitely deserves a turn for the better from life.
We love you Steve, thank you for what you give us
and then drops that SAVAGE McDonalds order omg
This channel was mentioned on JRE
Maybe Steve will get a boost in subs
@@bobby_pilgrim4528 I really enjoyed that order. I was bummed he couldn't get his Egg Mac, he had his heart set on one. Maybe next time.
My god, I didn't know his mother passed. So Beautiful Wife, Crazy Neighbor, and mom all passed this close to one another. IDK how you do it Steve, I guess one day at a time. Just know you are loved the world over. You have people who adore you across every continent. Stay strong and don't even think about coming back to this until you are ready or if it just helps you cope. We will all be ok and will be here when you return.
Not going to lie, I saw the title and thumbnail and immediately thought Steve was going to camp *inside* the donation bins 😂 To Canadians Steve may be a national hero, but to the rest of us he is truly and international hero. Much Love Steve ❤
I only found out today that he lives in Canada! I love your content Steve. When the mother of my kids was pregnant we were forced into homelessness and the first thing I did was spend some money at Walmart on camping supplies and I kept her safe and warm and fed. I drank a few beers while stealth camping in those days and we would smoke a little pot. My favorite spot was behind some large bushy trees in a pea field in Waterloo. Wishing you the best of luck in life.
If it were big enough he'd do it 100%
Me to 😂😂😂
My little brain was going in the same direction until I contemplated the logistics.😊

Sorry for your loss Steve. You’ve had a rough couple years. I feel for ya buddy.
He doesn't need your sympathy just cheer him on.
ok karen @@manbenitez247
@@manbenitez247You can do both and still be a good person.
@@manbenitez247he seems to be asking for sympathy by keeping talking about his troubles.Lots of well known people never speak of their troubles in life cause they won’t no sympathy.

Your mother clearly knew how to bring up a person of quality. My heart is with you, friend.
She sure did ❤️
💯
I showed your stealth videos to my nieces and nephews (9-12 years old) and they pooled their money to buy a tent. Now they’re recording videos of stealthing, fake “close calls”, and going from place to place. They live on a 40 acres on a flat prairie and their tent is bright orange, but they’re having a blast!
Life has been kicking at Steve a lot lately and trying to get him down, yet he keeps going. Truly an inspiration to someone who has struggled with handling life.
The man has 1.7 million subscribers. If even a quarter donated a dollar a month.... yeah.
@@Andy152R yea that doesn't happen though and is unusual. usually you can expect less than 1% of viewers translate into paying supporters, usually through patreon. but those few still pay more than just one dollar on average.
How he managed to get a meal for under 20$ at a mcdonalds is beyond me so he's got that going at least.
Boo hoo he camped out for one night..lol try doin it for 12 years
tends to happen when you're fucking drunk all the time
This community will never stop supporting you Steve.
What community?
@@FSU2001His viewers, fans, etc. Commonly referred to as a community of people as there is a shared interest/activity.

This man is going through so much and still has the heart to bring a t-shirt to donate for the “trouble he’s causing” we must protect this man at all cost. Thank you Steve, and god bless you.
Amen to this! 100% agree
Steve is one in a million. He has a heart of gold and he has the best youtube channel on youtube.
Absolutely 👍🏼
I would trust Steve with my dog. And that says a lot. He's wholesome and responsible.
Definitely a national treasure.
Am sorry to hear that your Mother passed away My deepest condolences You are a brave and courageous man who has seen another tragedy a year back. Steve hang in there.
Thank you, my friend. One breath at a time. Cheers :)
Why did you know her ?
@@campingwithsteveI'm sorry for your loss.
@@campingwithstevethat's it brother. It's not always one day at a time, but as you put it, one breath at a time. I wish you well and am sorry for the loss of your Mother, that's a hard thing to deal with , especially on top of just trying to survive.
i always love how Steve cracks his step 2 open with all the nervousness and sneaking ability of a kid hiding behind curtains from their mom lol
May Mom Wallis rest in peace. She raised a helluva kid, and thus, changed the world.
🌸Beautifully said!❤
Glad to see you’re back to doing the real stealthy camping videos!
❤❤❤❤ this.
Well Said!
I'm sorry to hear about your Mom. You've had an incredibly difficult year, but just know we're all out here thinking about you. I hope you find some peace.
Just wanted to say I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my husband and then my father 13 months later. To lose the two most important men in my life within such a short time was totally devastating to me. My brain was in a fog for a really long time and now 10 years later that grief can still become so overwhelming. Glad you are out and stealth camping. I love your adventures.
Literally minutes from home, whenever we drive by the Bins,we smile..Camping With Steve makes the ordinary quite special, works on so many levels.
Steve is really the GOAT of comfort RUclips. He always has such an inviting vibe. You mom raised a heck of a guy.

Yes, he’s my sleeping buddy. I sleep with him nightly 😂😂
Also old-school kevmo he's a yt cook 😅

Steve, the stealth cam is like opening a whole new dimension for stealth camping. You’ve created a mobile Area 51! Love it, and hope you’re doing ok.
Stealth cam great idea, love it!
Hey Steve, im so sorry for ur loss. I know mothers can mean the world to a son, and i know you were the world to hers.
💯
RIP Ma Dukes,, lost mine April 20th, feels like yesterday... What a kick in the guts.. I moved her in my home for last 5 years, she was 84, lived life..Damn
Steve, my dad just passed away this morning. He was a big fan of your channel. We got to watch some of it together earlier this summer. You brought some happiness and relaxation into his very stressful life. Thank you.
so sorry about your Father
❤ God bless you brother. Same with my dad. Its a hard rock to swallow, cheers
Sorry for your loss. So much death these days, it's wild. Ambulances every day around me, flooded obituaries. Honestly, feels like the end times based on my understanding of the Bible esp. The book of Revelation. The end is nigh, God bless us all 🙏
sorry to hear about your passing, bless you and your family ❤️
big prayers for you..
My condolences. I am 44 and have been homeless off and on since I was 16. I've always had 4 rules when it comes to camping in an urban setting. 1: in late.2: out early.3: NO MESS! 4: low noise(if any). These rules allowed myself, and one friend, to camp at the same business for almost 3 years straight. I love that you incorporate the same things. ❤
Good luck and good health to you, Taurin
Wish you the best friend. Take care of yourself!
Love you and your videos.glad to see you again.
Good health to you, Taurin. God bless from Melbourne Australia.
My mind thinking of all the crime stories I've read were the murderer dumps the dismembered body parts in a dumpster.
True story: I was illegally evicted; put everything in storage; built a campsite; CalTrans demolished it, took what they wanted & tossed the rest while I was at work. I came "home" to NOTHING. While walking to keep warm, I came upon a situation like that: donation boxes. Thankfully, a lot of people are too lazy to put donations in the bins and it was move out time at a local university. I was able to stealth camp behind there for most of the night, until a guy came to raid the bins. However, I was truly blessed, because I walked up there with just my walker and leftovers from work. I was able to survive and eventually get off the streets.
not all heroes wear capes. in fact some of them sleep behind donation bins and signs and stuff. we all should strive to be as strong as you steve
YOU have no idea how many people you inspire Steve. And even if you did, you'd modestly deny it.
Absolutely! This is pure passion and it‘s contagious
if this inspires you… you have an issue. May want to talk to someone and get off YT
I mean if he crawled inside the bin to sleep that might be interesting
And you breath it's on fire homie
As many others are doing, I'm raising a step 2 in honor of your mom and Jess. We love you man and you don't deserve all the things that life is throwing your way.
Yea. Good job, Bro.
your mom and your wife had one amazing man loving them, grief is hard but it get easier with time, sending my love
Stay strong Steve beautiful wife, crazy neighbor etc hang in there man ❤❤❤❤

Sorry Steve, about your mom's passing. I lost my wife to cancer over 3 years ago. Nothing lasts for ever so we have to be grateful for what we have and what we have had. If your mom was anything like you, than she was a good person. Thank you for your camping videos.

You’re a legend Steve, your parents raised a hell of a man
Yep I agree, His mom was probably very proud of him and for good reason! Love the guy because he's just a regular Canadian dude doing his thing. Total respect and I know he will do well as he takes on life.
Steve, my sympathy on the loss of your dear mother. She raised a nice, caring son. Enjoy your self at the camping sites.
Man, i am sending you a big hug from germany. I understand how you feel and i think your words "When life attacks you, you gotta take life on." are a very good inspiration!
Deepest condolences for your loss. Happy to see you doing well though through the recent tragedies, that will inspire others to do well with their own tragedies.. keep doing what you do brother 🤙
Julia Child said she discovered her love of cooking while she was on a camping trip. She didn't mention whether she and Paul had been camping behind donation bins at the time, but I think it's probable. I'm comforted to hear that your mother was able to exit on her own terms, but I'm nonetheless sorry for your grief, Steve. I hope your mom knew how much joy your work brings to thousands and thousands of people. You're her gift to us.
Yes, Julia would definitely have understood the joy of Stealth. (When not inventing shark repellant, she spent part of WWII flying over Chinese mountain ranges in a rickety two-engine plane overloaded with about eight other Strategic Services staff. Apparently when they were flying through a storm, everybody was singing and cracking jokes.)
Susan, very well said. I was thinking of saying something along those lines but you put it perfectly!
Steve, I'm sorry for your loss, truly. You have been through much this past year. All any of us can do is keep going, sometimes you gotta put it in 4WD. I'm sure your mother was proud of you as well she should be, hell, I'm proud to be a subscriber! PS., Your glib comments kept me laughing as always.
Very thoughtful
