i am gona buy this trolling motor but these videos are so hypocritical. When Garmin and Lowrance came up with brushless trolling motor THREE YEARS AGO, and everyone was talking how quiet and powerful they are, Minnkota made a public statement: 'Brushless motors are nothing new, they have been around for 30 years'. NOW, 3 years later, (better late than never), Minnkota finally joins this party, and ALL OF A SUDDEN, brushless trolling motors are quiet and powerful! I just can't take watching this..
If anybody cares, Quiet and Powerful is NOT the reason to buy Minnkota! They ALL ARE QUIET AND POWERFUL. I am gona buy this just because i hate the lag and non linear response of Garmin. And the constant frikking jerking. The control of my old Ulterra was so much faster and linear and more intuitive than Garmin, which never does anything lienarly. ALways accelerating or decelerating.
