- We are installing a 2005 rl calipers into a 96-00 civic hatch
Things we used
-www.fastbrakes...
-rsx type s rotors, we shipped it out to 1320 wheels and had them redrill the rotors to 4x100 (there 11.8 in and 300mm)

Really want to use this brake caliper set up on my 99 Integra LS. *Want to keep the 15” OEM rims and understand I may have to run spacers. (Not a fan of that) but it be worth the gains
*about an inch clearance from the stock caliper to the barrel
So my question is, do you think I could run the OEM rotors with the RL calipers so they would fit the 15 inch wheel?
Don’t think I need a knuckle because it’s an Integra Nor the Fastbrake RL bracket but I could be wrong. Wondering what your thoughts are.

So you don’t gotta swap the brake booster on a 98 and up civic or do you still recommend too?
If you are using 280mm rotors you can use Mini cooper (07 Base model 280mm) and are 4lug
Sorry my apologies. There actually 300mm for the rsx type s rotors
@@chaiyangg did 1320 had to machine out center hub to fit on your friends ek and link to but fadtbrake it says its for 2005-2019 civic

@@gmadgengarage this hatch and a eg hatch has the small spindle we didn’t swap it out for a ex we’re still using the stock one

Did you even bench bleed the MC before installing it? That's the proper way and one of the most important steps of installing the MC.
If it was use there’s already some fluid inside so I didn’t, if it’s new then yeah I’ll bench bleed it

If you have 5 lug already would you run RL rotors since they’re a little bigger? Or 350z? Or are the rsx type s rotors better or easier?
Rls are not compatible, they are a different lug pattern (5x120). I ran 350z track pack rotors
my guy using chrome sockets on an impact wrench lol
I have both chrome and impact sockets and I use chrome sockets on the impact gun all the time with no issues. The reason why using the chrome sockets is because the wall on the sockets are thinner and the thick impact sockets will not fit into the wheel nut lug hole. You can also use special type of wheel lug nut sockets that has the plastic liner.
If im use the mini cooper rotor 280mm work perfect ?
This setup and the TL Type S what its the minimum wheel clearance needed 16''?
I would say 16 with a low offset but 17 would be a ideal wheel

Exactly! Does it work? I know crv is 5lug but u can always get 4lug on it changing the hubs!! And to 36mm axles

I'm sure you''ll need bigger wheels. 16s at most with a lower offset. Im trying to confirm if this setup is an actual thing with the products he listed in the description. The adapter he listed is for 05-11 civic, not 96-00 civic....unless they both fit.

there all the same size, yes they are 5 lug but we got it redill to 4 lug

bracket adapters says their 180 on fastbrakes but unsure he listed the correct ones. calipers themselves cost 134 a piece but thats before the core charge so probably around 400+ if you were to buy reman calipers. brake pads looks you use acura rl pads, whatever that is at your local parts store. I wanna see if I can find a bigger mini cooper rotors that are close to 300mm
