      @@ZERODSF l probably cannot due to the bracket are easily available on the market and very affordable. They sell a kit also so pretty much plug and play. At present time, l'm using a FFC.com bracket coz of a different route on my brake system I'm planning. I will recommend email fastbrakes.com if you are thinking of a different brakes setup, they might be able to make a kit for you. And thank you for your interest on my brake setup and for subscribing.

    Great video bro. I'm assuming this setup will also work on the 4th generation prelude since they're both 4x14 lug nut pattern.. yeah because getting a big brake upgraders is one of my next moves for my car

      Prelude and Accord w/ Acura CL brake ROH conversion is same as 4th gen dimension. Fastbrakes.com have lots of variety brake upgrade to choose from if your interested. You just need to have a RL calipers and a good set of wheels to clear it.

    Hello, I've read that you need to use Acura CL 98 - 4 cylinder hubs to delete the "captive rotor design" but you can't really find this car in Europe. Is there any other car that you know of that we can find in europe and uses these hubs so we can stay with 4x114.3 bolt pattern? The alternative would be to convert to 5x114.3 using 6gen accord 3.0 knuckles, bearing, everything but this is not what we are trying to do.

    • @sagittnet2158
      @sagittnet2158  Месяц назад +1

      None that's 4 lugs, early Honda Odyssey also comes in 5 lugs. If you have Ebay, maybe you can get parts from states or you can do a custom hub. You can try redrill the hub if you want to keep a 4 lugs.

      @@sagittnet2158 I am thinking of removing the captive rotor and attempt to use the stock "captive" hub by putting a lets say 20mm adapter so the setup would be: Bearing - hub - rotor - adapter(with studs) - rim. This is all because I am unable to locate a hub from Acura CL 98-99 4cyl. I am sharing these thoughts here and when I have results I will also share them here and probably in the forum for other users to know.

    I want to file down my Acura Caliper to fit the 13 inch rotor. How much filing would you say you did to get the 13 inch rotor to fit? I do not want to over do it. Perhaps you could do a close up of how much materials you removed?

    • @sagittnet2158

      Not sure if fits, but you'll need the RL rear bracket and rotors. I'm not sure what rear rotors can be use on 5th gen Accord but l do know that fastbrakes.com sell a rear disk upgrade and caliper bracket.

      @@sagittnet2158 i have a 99 6th gen coupe. I was wondering if the rear caliper will bolt up, or if I’ll have to get a special bracket. I have the whole front setup, but i just want to double check before i take apart the car.

    • @sagittnet2158
      @sagittnet2158  Год назад

      @@dillonbragatto4705Is this a disk upgrade your'e thinking of? If it is, once you figure out what rear disk to use, the caliper should work on your choice of disk. The thing that you have to figure out next will be the bracket that the caliper will bolt on to. For example, if you use all RL rear brake setup ( disk, caliper, bracket, assuming disk fit) you will have the correct spacing except for rhe rear caliper bracket that will bolt to your rear knuckle. RL bracket might not work.( only an example). What you can do to make it work is make a custom bracket for your caliper to bolt on. I thought of making a diy rear disk upgrade on my 5th gen, but l kill the idea coz l'm still 4 lugs and my spare tire might not fit in case l have a flat tire.

      215/45/17 rear. With 215 at front, it rub so much on a turn, so l went 205 and that fixed my rubbing issue.
