There is no way Kick lasts unless they can really direct that many people into using Stake. Pretty crazy how much they can currently afford to pay streamers to steam for them. Thanks for another video!

Casinos make a fuck ton of money man

Stake is definitely an absolute money making machine. The real question is, will paying creators tons of money and incurring massive losses on kick continue to be worth it though? Hard to say…

ok video. should have mentioned how kick ceo said they were already profitable. on top of that, you have to consider that you don’t have to watch the gambling streams on kick and there are plenty of regular content creators. there gambling category isn’t even pushed onto you and i don’t think there’s any direct link to stake’s website. most of xqcs streams were also non gamba.

He’s including Stake’s profits in calling kick “profitable.” Kick on its own is not profitable at all and never will be as long as Twitch isn’t. It runs on all the same tech as Twitch yet has to pay Amazon hosting fees on top of that and receives a far less amount of the revenue from subscriptions. You don’t have to watch the gambling creators on Kick but they are the only ones that bring any kind of value to Kick on their balance sheet. Every other creator is just a cost to their bottom line.

@@RaisedMedia im not saying kick is profitable on its own, im just saying that was a detail you should have added in your vid. Also kick has brought a lot of non gambling streamers which you also have to consider

The point is that kick is not profitable at its own so that detail isn’t really relevant. Like I said, adding non-gambling creators for kick is merely an additional cost to Kick, they don’t receive any benefit from them and it costs them quite significantly in hosting fees.

not to pick hairs, but XQC isn't close to the most watched live streamer. He's not even in the top 25. The most watched are actually in different language formats specifically Spanish live streamers.

@yamamaghey you mean most English speaking people can’t. 😂 this has to be the dumbest comment I’ve seen in a while man I mean read it back to yourself and really think about it…

You make a strong point here, considering that youre trying to prove thats XQC is defending his deal, you should have let his response to hasan be shown, so it doesnt seems one sided.

    • @RaisedMedia

Honestly xQCs points after this were mainly him stuttering about how Hassan “is making assumptions.” His main defence was that technology will change and be cheaper in the future. That argument isn’t really sound though because Twitch’s streaming tech is in house and will always be less of an expense than paying a third party for the hosting (which Kick does). Amazon is a far bigger company than Kick + Stake will be and therefore can far outlast Kick’s short term ultra high spending to get these creators to their site. If Stake shut down today, Kick would be shut down tomorrow. Kick will never survive without Stake. They are spending like crazy yet have a microscopic amount of revenue. It doesn’t take a CPA to realize Kick’s numbers don’t add up without Stake lol

@@RaisedMedia Of course, i totally got your point, it was just an observation, xqc never clarified kick sustainabilty without stake. I think you should have left his braindead takes anyways 💀

Haha couldn’t care less about xQc or Hassan, but xQc is kind of the face of Kick at the moment so it felt important to hear him defend it. Thanks for the comments!
