Instead of spending nearly $300 on tacky, hot-glue DIY projects and cluttering up her dorm, you could have spend it on a few, organizational products of quality to help create a comfortable and more open space.
paloma true
but she liked cozy
True
I thought the same thing, $300 is a decent budget actually, especially for how TINY her room was. They could’ve actually got her a good amount of stuff.
There is no room for much else tho they couldve gotten her a chair or so
All of her previous plants were real, I think that´s what she meant when she said she liked plants... not those tacky fake ones... and don´t even get me started on that neon sign and all the glue... sometimes less is more
It looks great, but the room divider blocks off the light from the window for the room mate. I wouldn't be too happy if I was the room mate tbh.
If it is used at night for sleeping, it wouldn't be an issue though. Also, with all the panels in the curtain, they can leave half of it open and only have it blocking the bed area.
The divider doesn’t even go all the way to the end of the room, where the window is. It only blocks to the end of her bed so the window will still go through
get a different room
BuddyBontheNet they probably keep the curtain open but if they want to change in private, they have the option
Shontaisa it's not that easy
charlotte: i like dim lighting
*makes a neon sign*
Shitty neon sign*
but have no materials lmao
christa renee that’s what i said
Yikes they should NOT be using glass on the lap pillow. I get that you needed a hard surface, but glass, especially in cheap picture frames, can't handle weight and acute pressure very well and might shatter, especially if it's not reinforced with something else. Would it cost that much more for cheap scrap wood the same size and just sanding it down and gluing cloth to it for the hard surface? It's much sturdier and safer. Or get a much more durable piece of acrylic.
Thats actually a common diy. Its ugly imo but it works fine.
Melica Mage GIRL YESSS
Yeah
Was anyone else thinking thinking that lap pillow was suuuuuper junky?...
It just over all made no sense... the glass itself was going to get really hot after a while since.. a laptop is going to be on it... so I don't quite understand the point of it... But in general I don't understand the point of doing a dorm room overhaul for a room so tiny and no personal space. It's all just a huge waste of 300$ if you ask me. It's college for goodness sake not a home.. you're only in it for a few years save money and just rough it out in a slightly pleasing room.
Felicity harde so it can not fall apart
Beth Dunbar it's a college but it's also a home away from home? sure you can live in a bare skeleton room with just a desk and a textbook but this girl does contemporary music, wouldn't that just drain all her creativity away?
Just buy a dinner tray?
Use a smaller pillow so u dint have to cut it
I love how buzzfeed thinks broke uni students have $300 to spend renovating their room
I was thinking the same thing
I think that neon sign may be a bit of a fail ...
This ended up cute but OH MY GOD I hate when people hot glue instead of just sewing their fabric projects. Those pillows are so janky.
faenettle Same !
faenettle some people don't know how to sew
Nikolle's life of Asmr learn
I was writing the same exact thing, what if she has to wash them?
Emma Stamper ??? You just need a needle and thread, and a sewing machine isn't a power tool if they were to use one.
As a college student who had a pretty cozy dorm room this past year, it will be absolute hell to try to haul that much stuff home. It feels good while you're living there, but the transport.... she'll probably have to get rid of a lot of that stuff, especially the fake plants and most of the pillows, and possibly the bookends and other odds and ends, depending on what she ends up using a lot.
I do really like the curtain of lights though; it's something really simple (both to do and transport!) that I feel creates a really nice vibe in the space. The fake candles are similar, and are something that Charlotte will probably want to hang on to if she plans on living in the dorms again. The desk baskets are also a good idea because let's face it, we're not all super organized and it's nice to have a place to let stuff collect without it looking too trashy.
Overall, I think I agree with other comments that some of the DIYs could have had more time put into them to make them look really polished, and that this makeover was ultimately not really suited for a dorm room (as someone who made the mistake of bringing too much stuff my first year). But there are some really good ideas in the video that could be used to really spruce up maybe an apartment bedroom/living room area, just somewhere a little more permanent than a dorm.
the pink “char” wire thing looks tacky.
irrelevant I don’t know if that’s a joke or not because y’know, she used a lot of super glue on it so it’s “tacky”
Agreed
I thought it was fine
I thought it spelt "Shy", not "Char".
It doesn’t look very neat. It does look tacky and not because she used tack glue
When someone says they like plants, I'm sure they want ALIVE plants. Snake and spider plants can't be killed and super cheap
Lol
i have a pothos plant and you only have to water it like every 5 days.
Every plant can die
Idle it’s really hard to keep plant alive....I kill them a lot...and I’m a botanist
@@citrussarcodactylis526 or you can just grow it in water and then you only have to change the water when it gets dirty. That's what I do in my dorm
sorry but that neon sign........
Lmfao, about to say that sign was ugly
Kate does it really matter thou? She seems to like it anyway
What did it even say
+Jennifer Park girl i know its my katherine langford vibes
Your profile pic says it all
I cringe so hard when people hot glue pillows... LIKE YO u can sew that SUPER easily...its literally the easiest thing
ROSE quarts
Some people don’t know how to sew 🙄 hush
@@lou7364 Then at least use FABRIC glue instead of hot glue. Sewing is super easy to learn, but if you're not gonna bother, then at least use the right kind of glue.
I agree, I didn't know how to sew for the longest time, but I learnt from some RUclips tutorials and it's actually great. It's so relaxing, because it requires enough focus that you dont think about anything else, but not too much that you can't listen to some music or a podcast, just perfect
I cringed so hard at “dirt from Oregon” that I peed
Damn the wire thing looks tacky AF
if it's $300 can't you just buy a lap desk from a store????
I had to like this to make it 160
Also I agree
No because they needed to buy everything -.-
C A M P L A Y Z if they needed to buy everything then why couldn’t they just buy a lap desk lol also why are you being so condescending
"after so much hard work" ...yea. hotglueing fabric instead of sewing it sure is hard work.. and 255 dollars for this makeover ? It actually feels like more clutter is added to that small dorm room.
vivi pir yeah, it’s like all they did was add cheap decor
here's an idea... learn to sew.
the hot glue probably won't last too long on a fabric pillow, sorry to say.
It just look more cluttered and crowded
Suha Tayyab 200th like 😙
"dirt from Oregon"
haliens ikr
EH HAHAHAHA I mean as an Oregonian I cringed so hard I peed
you know how much food i could buy with $300
i couldn't agree more
Same
Ramen*
YES
Cheezberry 24 i could buy like 600 packs of ramen omg i could live on ramen for a YeAr!
They act like $300 is cheap. A COLLEGE STUDENT IS BROKE.
Oh my goodness the constant use of hot glue on fabric makes me physically ill. It looks so much better and is just as easy to sew a quick line. Not to mention it will actually hold it together
I feel like the shelf raiser would work as a better lap desk than that pillow...
Love this type of video and not that my opinion matters but that neon light looked kinds trashy
i agree. didnt even light up. looked too small. not legible. but the whole room looks cool!! i wish the neon lights didnt take up so much room though.
Bebe Wattenburger true
you can tell it was done in a rush
I thought it said chor not nice at all
Bebe Wattenburger I AGREE!
Some parts were nice, but I hate that sign. Rushed, oversized and barely lights up. Also, c'mon just sew the pillows it isn't that hard. Even if they couldn't get a sewing machine, just like watch a youtube video and do it by hand. Jesus those things are gonna fall apart within days. Not to mention it's horribly cluttered now. What college student wants to throw 300 dollars at people to glue shirts onto pillows?
Yes, it is that hard to sew....even Jesus couldn't help me 😔
😂😂😂
I feel sorry for her dorm mate . . .
Isobelfoxi why
Ikr lol her dorm mate would be jealous
I don't. I like her dorm mates side of the wall. That photo collage/collection was awesome!!! And that blackboard was ridiculously cool!!!
*when you try your best but you dont succeed*
*Mmmm whatcha saaaayyy, thatchu only meant weeeeeelllllllll....*
Don't try again
When u get wat u want but not what u need..
You do not know da wae
Only da queen knows da wae
Ugh, I know not everyone has access to a sewing machine but I still cringe so much when I see a diy use hot glue to fuse fabric together.
XxBroadwaygonnabexX I know right? And if they really didn't want to sew they could have at least used fabric glue rather than hot glue. Fabric glue would have held up better and allowed the girl to wash the pillows or the divider, but the hot glue will just fall apart once she has to clean them.
those pillows are going to fall apart in days.
The only sewing machine I have access to is my grandmas from the 50s, yet its still so much more easy and better looking than glue
the lap desk too. the lady straight up said that her laptop burns her >.> That glue is gonna melt in a blink of an eye.
Same! When I was like 9 I sew cushions by hand and they looked better than the glue version. It’s really not that hard
"Gold" *Is rose gold*
It’s gold, there’s only a little bit of rose gold. Most of it is gold
ehh same thing
holy moly, such a small ass room and you also have to share it??
also the lap desk is something you can buy at ikea for $15 with out it falling apart and actually fitting a laptop.
Lisa - $10 at Ross, too!
Dorms are usually small, especially freshman dorms, and especially dorms in a big city like NYC where real estate costs a lot. The design was janky, but I felt the space dimensions for a dorm were fairly normal.
It was awesome but the divider and neon were.....you know .....tomuch
I mean I like the divider but the neon sign was ugly
For $300 I think it was kinda a bad job. I see the good intentions behind the video and the hard work, but it’s just okay. A neutral 6/10.
Framed dirt, glued old t-shirts and FAKE plants 🤦♀️🤦♀️
YES?! Why on earth would you put in fake plants when the girl says she loves plants and already has more than one that she cares for?! WHYYY?? I was so annoyed by this.
@@beahallberg7822
Yeah, like I don't care if other people like fake plants but it tends to be a 'one or the other' type thing. Like if you're already watering plants then why bother w plastic ones too haha
I agree about the tee shirts being glued, but the fake plants is because she’d be in class and wouldn’t have time to water or take care of them
AND FOR $300?!??!
SHE JUST explained it u know if she got a REAL plant it would have died and they can’t even take care of it cuz they would be out most of the time so it would be DEAD oh and the framed dirt it was really creative ok ur room is prolly just a bed a desk and a closet and some chairs honestly she likes it it’s like she did ur room and you didn’t like it
This girl needs Mr. Kate. This stuff is pretty tacky; Mr. Kate can do wonders with less than $300.
Kate Lewicki exactly wat i was thinking 😂😂
Kate Lewicki She gets so much done too it's amazing 😂
I thought I was the only thinking this was lacking af
sandy victorin agreee
I agree
1. Why dirt. Why not sand or pebbles. Or dry moss. Why friggin dirt.
2. Why hot glue. Is it that hard to do a friggin blanket stitch. Yes it takes time but its not as ratty as goshdarn hot glue. Plus its cheaper to buy a spool of thread and a few needles than a whole glue gun.
3. FAKE PLANTS. for persephones sake succulents arent that hard to obtain. And she has the windowspace for them.
4. That neon light look sad like my life.
Chances are, any live plants on that windowsill will die a horrible death the first time it drops below freezing in NYC. Dorm rooms aren't known for having the best in insulated windows.
1. She already had the dirt. She likes dirt, it's earthy, it grows things, so do pregnant woman and they grow humans & wanna eat dirt so whatchu gotta say now
2. You sew shaming those crafty impaired! That ain't right girl! I look at a carb I gain, I look at a sewing machine, the bobbin jams😭...((has mom who does costumes for highschool drama class but never taught you how)) no Bitter Betty here I assure you
3. Already has live plants + school all the time so added effortless esthetic = mental stability. YesOrNah? Nothing is more existentially crippling then a plant you loved but yet you.let.it.die! ((goes and eats some dirt for a chance at redemption 😔))
And BTW Persephone was a miserable woman, literally in hell with the devil as her husband. She had more problems than even aloe vera could sooth. And yes neon sign = your life + my life + effort and time used to comment = all my satirical stamina depleted....but at least I have an idea for a problematic area in my room that needs work but I don't have the time ((too many books to read)) to do much.
Tho I think I just wrote a novella....😬
Let me take your 300 dollars. *puts dirt and glue in a frame *
*glues cut up shirts onto pillows* Alright 300 dollars please.
She hot glued a curtain? Er...why not sew it?
Cool but I didn’t like the colors. I might be biased because my mom can sew really well but I think the pillows look pretty bad...
Sofia Lloret agreed
I was upset by how badly it was cut, that was a trapezoid not a square.
even if u don't know how to sew (like me) use a fabric glue gun
Right omg a needle and a reel of thread is literally so much cheaper than a glue gun and the sticks of glue, even a messy backward stitch would still look decent when turned the right way out
Sofia Lloret yes I dont either my mom sews really good too
"I made the curtains out of cat hair and hot glue"
Charolette: *oh my god that's such a good idea*
The room would look beautiful if it would have been cleaned. If you bought some stuff organizers and arranged them in a proper way, the room would be more spaced up and neat. There was no need of using $300
It's really cute! For my room, I have sort of a blue and white themed look. I like to have the baskets colored based on what theme your bedroom is, it helps a whole lot.
I thought it was so super cool watching this video, just sitting in my room (in Oregon). I thought it was such an awesome idea that you made a little map of Oregon out of dirt from here. Her whole dorm room totally had those Oregon vibes...you go girl, keep up the good work.
this is so cool, i can see the lady putting so much genuine effort into the decorations even tho its not her room. you guys might not like her DIY techniques but at least she put in all that effort and the room does look better :)
Decorated my whole room Japanese themed. Went to Goodwill and spent 20 dollars. Got posters, frames, books, jewelry hangers, and more.
This girl is so creative, she's making me wanna clean and decorate my room
This is dissapointing. She decorated another persons space that they paid money for and decorated it with her style not what the client asked for at all. And this tlroom looks like it was made from 20 bucks not 300. The poor freshman got ripped off
Preach girl preach
Monika Sto She asked for the makeover don't feel bad for her.
She has only decorated her space ?!?
These room make-overs are just relaxing to watch! Thanks!
i'm a broke college student, you think i'm gonna have $300 laying around?
Go to Ikea. I literally got EVERYTHING for my dorm under $200. Including bedding and kitchen stuff.
A lot of this can be changed a bit or picked up from a thrift store or garage sales for cheaper
Lovemyself55 MSP but like almost every college has internet
You can pick and choose what part you want to use from this video
You can always find ways to make money? Save, work a job for two weeks, do a little bit at a time. Work study program? And I know if you truly want you could ask someone for some money.
that first DIY is so useless... 1. it will be so uncomfortable to place your hand on that "desk" because of the sharp edge and how the frame is not leveled with the glass
2. GLASS!!! how hard is it to break it? Seriously, using this as a desk - very bad idea
3. the pillow had way too much stuffing and it will not sit comfortably on your lap
4. the amount of fabric around the frame and how she just hot glued it together - it was not made to last a week
Love the concept, but now that I'm finishing up my fourth year of University, I've got to say that a lot of this is a huge mess to bring back with you during break. Unless you're dorm allows you to store your stuff with them for the break or you've got a really big car, it's difficult. My freshman year roommate had a lot of those extras like pictures and lights and her parents struggled to pack it all on moving day.
How much u want to bet the girl threw away that neon sign and the diy stuff. Cause tbh I didn't like the neon sign and the pillow desk.
Just my opinion no hate
Colleen Draws plus she wanted DIM lighting, the lady who did these DIYs is dumb af
Did you really get that dirt from Oregon though ?
DREASODRIZZY lololololol
DREASODRIZZY it’s kinda sad because if you did that dirt thing on the the wall you’d get bullied
her sister was there to help so maybe she brought the dirt with her for the project
why would you get bullied?
Jack Kelsey how I would think you were creative not weird well everyone's weird BUT YOU GET THE POINT 🤦🏻♀️
Literally nobody:
Nifty people: YoU WaNnA LApDesK ?!?!?!?
.... 1) 300 dolars... I mean I'm broke so it probably feels far more expensive to me than it does to you but.... I heard college student in your country were broke?
2)Even as a highschool student, I can't fit my books over this desk. These book holders are too big.
Other than these, it was so beatiful. Sorry for my English.
$300 is a lot for most college students. The person in the video must have saved up or that's what Buzzfeed was willing to spend on it.
Bilgesu G your English I think was perfectly fine 💜
Come to uae then
Bilgesu G I'm a current student college right now. My math book alone was $700 (not including online code) honestly 300 isn't even that much anymore. Also not gonna lie I'd rather spend some money on my dorm because college isn't fun might as well have one thing I can enjoy.
Should've just gotten some non-permanent contact paper from like Target or walmart, made an accent wall, covered the whole interior of the desk, and the wardrobe. Would've looked a lot better instantly for much much cheaper.
Contrary to the other comments, I actually think the dirt idea and tea lights were cute
But also should've filled the wall space with more than just the "neon" thing. And could've found a cute and relatively affordable divider standee made out of wood instead of a sheet
We get it. You watched TheSorryGirls DIY projects...
Morgan Taylor the neon sign was basically the original video
Morgan Taylor exactly what I was thinking!!!
Morgan Taylor and stole mr Kate’s channel ideas
Omg that's so true. Mr.Kate + TSG.
Morgan Taylor ye
We all know that the girl who got her dorm decorated re did her room after she was gone.
I kinda feel bad for the roommate tbh😅
Heyitsmyr I was thinking the same thing, imagine having to look at something to cozy and having to sleep in something so uncozy.
i think the division is fine for privacy because i can't handle over 24 hours with constant human contact in such close vicinity
Melissa T. Well you must consider that the roommate might have not been interested in the first place to get her part of the room done aswell...
but I would feel a little bit grumpy though yes if I saw that a roommate suddenly had such a lovely and cozy space and I was still living in this kind of dorm-factory 😅
But still if you have a friendly, reeespectful and nice relationship with your roommate to start with then you can always offer to help cozying up their side over time as well if it turned out that they like the makeover a lot too! And I bet the roommate loves the privacy-curtain aswell. I mean: who doesn't want a bit of privacy from time to time?!! 😲 and they can ofcourse always talk about when they want to pull it in since it is *optional* at all times ofcourse!
Heyitsmyr i don't and her side seems a lot bigger soo... she's ok
Enjoy college life. It flies by. It was the best years of my life.
This is a wannabe mr. Kate job
Awww it’s cute....looks very cozy and homey...when I go to college I’m making sure my dorm is cute and cozy
She is gonna have lot of trouble taking down the decorations after a few years, lot of trouble.
Jennifer Chaston since they used command hooks to hand pretty much everything up it’ll be fine. There’s a small tab on the sticky pad which adheres to the wall, and if you pull it the whole thing will come off easily and leave no residue/damage.
Lol you mean a semester.
I loved this! You put so much work into helping her. Please do more of these! Wish I could like it more than once.
Omg i luv this, keep doin this Buzzfeed
Miowly Siew if you like this you should watch Mr. Kate because they sort of copied her...
Miowly Siew No. Trust me Buzzfeed unsolved is wayy better
Yes, check out Mr.Kate! They do this and a lot of other design this GS, they're wonderful.
Check out TheSorryGirls
Moonlight ilmSA a
Lovely transformation and I love the presenter. Her personal style is gorgeous, especially in that dress in the beginning. I’m excited to see your other videos and learn some more.xx
Can you design my house (for free)
no
Didn’t you say poo deal? HUH?
Elisabeth With an S Didn't her room get designed for free and she did not do the work her self
unknown youtuber I'm
So basically they have to do your whole house using what you already have and what they can find in the yard?
This whole thing just made me disappointed. Seriously? Hot glue on a pillow? Sewing it would've been much easier! Charlotte also said she likes dim lighting and you made a neon sign.. I feel like many unnecessary things were added, the old room was fine and could have used just a little bit of cleaning.
I agree. Also, the neon light wasn't even flat! They could have at least bent it nicely so it doesn't stick out on the wall. You can barely read it. Same with the pillows. They're going to fall apart in no time, and the curtains will fall down.
It’s a room makeover not a “hey we’re gonna come over and just clean your room”
Mischa Jones I
andreeuh
you're missing the fact that the "items" they made are really bad quality and lazy shortcuts were taken that were unnecessarily expensive and won't stand up to use.
Charlie Lawton - I’m not going to listen to a 10 year old. I can share my opinions if I want. Don’t get butthurt.
looks like hot glue is your friend. sewing is pretty easy too. and i'm a dude...
What does being a dude have to do with anything? I'm a girl, and I don't understand why men always have to make a point to say "I'm a dude" when it comes to cooking, cleaning, being artsy, and stuff like that. Its meant for everyone.
are you supposed to sew with your vagina? bc otherwise your gender wouldnt matter.. it's about dexterity (unless you're using a sewing machine but they're pretty pricey for students and if you dont sew often it just takes up the space and kinda not worth buying)
wow didn’t realise my comment would offend anyone. My most humble apologies. Sewing is def a skill for any human. I’m only amazed by my own skill, and being hopeless at most things. Needle and thread to mend my broken heart :)
Zoo W lol ur a feminist
M1CK3YL33 im sorry that people are feminists
This made me have a cleaning and re-arrange your home "moment". After I took my sleep medication, I have to wake up early. But it was nice. Can't stop now though.
um i think someone already made similar videos where they do a room makeover under $300.
oh wait, it's mr kate.
and it's less tacky.
Jin Hit Entertainment lol
Jin hit entertainment 😂😂😂 your username gives me life 😂
Wigdrop BTS imma bts trash so... ✌
Jin Hit Entertainment mr kate is best for house or room decoration vids
YES IKR, BUZZFEED STEALING IDEAS AGAIN 🙄
A breakfast tray makes a much better lap tray. Just add some dowels for legs and a lap tray in a jiffy!
Id rather call mr.kate
The best part is that all that stuff can be used all through out her college years and those candles are great for if the power goes out while she’s there
Shared dorm rooms sounds like a nightmare..couldn't do it
Oregon is my home state but I don't usually think "home=dirt." I like the idea, though.
Y'all should follow this up by doing a Senior who has to move home after college!!! I volunteer as tribute - I move home MID may!!!!
College students can't even afford ramen
My style is fairy lights fluffy pillows white grey gold stuff like that
The room divider is a cool idea...and the "Move that bus comment" right before the reveal was funny...lol
Make sure you check out Mr. Kate’s videos too
She also has $300 room videos
Yassssssss I ❤️mr Kate
Mr. Kate is much better😁
Ohhhhh, yes!
Same
Alex H We KNOW that ;-;
It looked like Charlotte had to practice genuine excitement.
What happens to the super glue when it gets heated? Also you can get bendy wire at Dollar Tree.
chellybabyme wdym when it gets heated?
Grace Marshall I'm thinking that the lights are hot
chellybabyme ohhhh well it looks crappy so it probably won’t be on long😂 and I don’t think it gets that hot
Grace Marshall Ha.
I wonder how her roommate reacted.
She was helping with the room
That folder holder wasn’t gold, it was my favourite colour (next to blue)
COPPER
Buzzfeed should hire this girl!! so professional.
I can barely afford a week worth's of food and live in overly priced accommodation - would never be able to afford anything like this XD. In the UK you are barely in your dorm for a year - not even worth it unfortunately.
N7Biotic I know! It's like private schools price there dorms way too high. 12,000 for 9 months in a little tiny room that you have to SHARE. Ridiculous.
SkilletCrumpet Damn!!! that's a huge amount 😲 my accommodation is a flat which costs me around 6000 for 10 months. if i was currently in halls (or dorms) you looking at almost 8000 grand at my uni for your own room. and then adding another 9000 grand per year for uni tuition 😂 I'm barely left with few hundred pounds to last 3 months at a time. Can't work as uni is 5 days a week.. just a no go. I can't even put poster on my wall as you will get fined 😂
Hey we're just going to glue a pillow case that you can't wash (as far as I know)! What a great idea. Seriously, just sew them together. I know, sewing is not easy, but with a sewing machine it's no big deal and you can enjoy your beautiful pillows a bit longer. You don't even need a zipper if that is too difficult.
K who else hates it when people make pillows and use hot glue
This is my favorite video Nifty has ever put out
Before the makeover....Her room was still better than mine.
Ever since I've been watching Mr. Kate's $300 makeovers, the bar has been set pretty high up for me.
That seriously cost 300 dollars?! Everything looks so janky. You just took a bunch of diys from Pinterest and threw them together. You guys are like a Walmart version of The Sorry Girls
Just an innocent Pomegranate true but I mean they’re trying 😂🤷♀️
at least they tried
Just an innocent Pomegranate they tried :/ besides, the room is a lot cozier and cleaner and nicer
Just an innocent Pomegranate you are so right
No way it was $300. She got all of it from discount stores or she made it. I hope she didn't spend $300 on those few objects
The lights looks really charming
Hmmmm am i the only one that thinks this but $255 is alot for just that
i just reorganised and painted my room a few days ago and it feels so much better and cleaner,
but this makes me wanna buy new shit
The book end is from target not from a thrift shop
you can buy candle warmers if you are living somewhere that you cannot have open flame and you sit the candle on it it still melts the candle so smell is still released without the open flame
... making pillow cases with hot glue? how long did they last? like a week?
i have that wire thing and what i did was i tilted it (so the corners were facing the cardinal directions) and i put the corners of my pictures underneath it so it held them in place and it's really aesthetically pleasing
