The first and the most important thing to do to make space is to have fewer items. Consume less. Be frugal. Buy only what you need, not what you want. Delay your purchase to see if you still feel the need to buy the item. Stop buying things to impress people. Don't buy something just because others have it. Buy only what you really need. Give away what you haven't used for a while. De-clutter. And then try these space saving tricks.

The cubby/table idea is good, but...attach the wheels to a separate sheet of 3/4" plywood that you have already stained/painted to match, then attach the entire thing to the base of the bookcase/cubby. It will prevent the sagging that was obvious in the video because this was never meant to be used that way.
this is an oddly specific comment. generally, this isn't a problem unless you review products for a living. some apartments barely give you enough for soap, moisturizer, and first aid supplies.
For the cost of materials on that shelf table thing (which will collapse in the middle because those shelving units are meant to be on the floor!) you could get a small sewing table with a collapsible side for cutting fabric which is sturdy enough for a table, better storage, and which won’t collapse! Also, please don’t keep toothbrushes in a wood or wicker container! It’s so hard to clean. Glass or plastic are the only acceptable toothbrush holder materials. Maybe stone.

It's amazing what 2 large size bean cans and a wooden\plastic board can do. Not fancy but effective around the house. Oh, and those dinning room table leaf inserts--make great shelving units👍
I have those little Ikea shelves underneath my pedestal sink. They each have one face (side) that doesn't have a visible screw, so should be swapped and turned so those sides are at front, and the diagonal face is still against the center of the sink.
Lol I don't need my small space to LOOK bigger. I need my small space to BE bigger. A clear chair doesn't make it disappear. It's still there! And I still gotta decide if I want to stub my toe on it or on the corner of my bed frame every time I squeeze past it! 😂😩

LadyJosie decluttering before organizing seems kinda like a duh to me. Obviously the more stuff you have, the less space you have any the more you’re gonna need to organize. Case in point: you already knew this fact. Isn’t it obvious you need to get rid of all that you don’t use/as much as you can? But I agree with the rest of york comment. Hinges are week, board is thin. One rod for hanging clothes cannot bear the weight of twice as much (another rod with clothes hanging on it) and even more. You are not always allowed to drill the tiles in the bathroom. Put many baskets on the floor with useless stuff and bend every time you vacuum. Etc...
The over the door organizers are terrible for the actual doors. Be nice to your landlords and steer away from causing damage (this also includes a bad paint job and putting holes into the drywall)
I like the ideas BUT, the bitch about the situation is now you gotta buy a bunch of crap to organize your crap. Nevermind all the screw holes you gotta fill when you move out.
EVERY SINGLE THING THERE costs $$$. CHEAP, fast, TONS of storage? Get 2 sets of Bed risers & stack them 2 high. ($8 for 1 set. Buy 2 sets, find them at the thrift store even). Makes your bed high like an old grandma bed. Very cool. Everyone loves it. Can store a SHT TON underneath in plastic laundry tubs, cardboard boxes, suitcases, rubbermaid tubs. You're welcome!

If you're living in a tiny space, I'm sure most would assume that it's because you can't afford more. How about some solutions that are actually plausible for the majority of your audience? (Nifty, crafty, diyers who would probably rather spend the time and effort in the project instead of forking up a truckload of money for products that might or might not last the job when they could've saved a small fortune?) Many of these ARE DIY-able, but many of them will only have a cheap shortcut instead of an inexpensive workaround. Like the hidden jewelry door

Picture ledge is a GREAT idea, but watch out for MDF or particle board in a bathroom. Both soak up moisture, fatally.
