Hey Ali Clarkson! You may not have made that line but you still scored a victory over your anger! Being aware of your state of mind and being able to control it is also an achievement! Ride positive think positive! Ride ride ride!
I love how you just keep going until it looks so darn good that it actually looks easy. Every video I again get amazed by how good you actually are and how difficult these lines must be. Mad respect, keep it going.
I just got home from a street ride when this posted. I wish I had watched before. You did a lot of fun stuff. These street jib style videos are my favorites. 🔥🔥🔥as usual.
Inspired should really mass produce and offer your design. The Ali C model chain tensioner. Would that make their designers too jealous? Do they not want to pay you for it. The World deserves the best!
The riding level is just a pleasure to watch! So smooth and controlled, tonnes of creative jibs as well. Actually amazing handling and dedication. Insert swear word gave me a chuckle.
Ali, please don't say that your line at 8:46 didn't look that good. That line was beautifully thought out given the set up there, and executed perfectly mate. Amazing to watch as always buddy. Keep it up.
Incredible riding Ali! It’s amazing to see how much a talented and creative rider can do with what seem like basic blocks! If I could just up to back on a tree like that I’d be happy enough!
I get it Ali... When I'm riding flatland, anger can kick in when I'm trying to hold a line a bit longer or ride out of a combo. Well done for sharing and not giving in.
I think we can all agree that it’s so nice to see Ali bk riding. more riding sketchy Trees on the street trials Something different and challenging for you also
Hi Ali. After much deliberation I finally ordered a Hex Pro from Tarti Bikes. Unfortunately, where I live in Atlantic Canada there's nowhere to try a bike for size. I couldn't decide between 26" or 24". In the end I am more interested in the trials skills for other riding like on my 29er mountain bike than I am in straight up trials riding. The bigger wheel size of the Hex makes more sense for transferring skills. So thank you for all of the detailed descriptions on this and other Hex videos! Can't wait to get my hands on the yellow machine.
Some skills mate getting on a new bike and not been happy with it good on ya bro love how humble you always are and honest best thing about watching your content always inspiring honest and informative 🤘
For me this was one of your best videos. I can't relate to the level of difficulty of what you are trying to do, but the process, frustration and emotions are familiar and relatable. I enjoy the little interludes where you give some commentary on your thought process after showing various tricks and attempts. I will say that the hematoma description may have been a bit TMS. Hope that heals up.
Hex for the win! Well good Ali. I am sorry for the injury dude, they are never fun. But on the purple & yellow tip, you match perfectly Bro! That first Sweet nose transfer over the bolder was Wicked! That was very cool looking Sir. I dig your hack with the brake pads. The quitter bike is much better in my opinion. Very well done on the hop to rear tire, pivot left hop to nose and 180 out! I know that took you over 200 tries to complete and it was worth it for us. Your riding has stepped up dramatically over last year. You are going to have a very successful summer I think Ali. Thank you Bro Cheers - M
That chain tensioner lasted just half a ride 😂 unfortunately the one on my Fourplay has loosened up a ton.. Great riding, I’ve missed this kind of vlog! The more I get into trials the more I admire the creative lines!
Most people don't appreciate what you are doing because they don't realise the skill, let alone the explosive explosive power, required to pull it off. I wish I'd discovered this when I was younger. I practice as much as I can, but I'm full of injuries from my tumbles and falls, lol. People like you, fabio and Danny make it look easy 😂
Ali Clarkson the most under rated trials rider in Britain! Love watching your vids. Skill levels would embarrass some of the so called ‘better’ riders.
So funny, I got that exact injury messing around at the skatepark last week. Plus a nagging finger injury from a while back, too. Nice to commiserate I guess.
I’ve recently discovered with my pro 4 rear hub with all this dry weather it’s running more reliable probably because most of the time the bike outside in the elements can’t be good for pawls and springs I find myself regular servicing the hub in winter months it’s annoying I’ve learned now to cover back wheel at least 💦💧💦
Can you please start doing the retro build s again thay was my favourite :) i got a 26h pas frame but some idiot took off the brake boss s off the frame lol and didn't even put a retro fit disc mont so have to get rid of it and buy something else
Ali is such a nice guy, in front of the camera. Did you noticed the 2 people having a nice laugh on the park? 1:43 was the last time the two could laugh. Ali shut off the camera, sprinted there and suddenly on the next cut they were disappeared. This happens sometimes did someone told me. Beware of Ali "the beater" Clarkson!
Random thought. Have you ever tried riding the hex with 24" wheels? Be interesting to see the differences. I'm sure there will be mostly downsides but I think there could be a few upsides to it. Any reason why this can't be done?
I did a video where I made a mullet Hex with just a 24” rear wheel, other than being slightly whipper for spins there was no advantage, you’re just left with longer chainstays
I’m kind of pleased you didn’t catch the accident on film Ali , sounds real nasty. Ladies have childbirth and we have that special hell sent pain from a smack in the nads😫. Hope your feeling better real soon
Dude the endo rollings about and spinning around on the static, and manic manual tracking, the riding is mindlowing, I think you just need to upgrade your cameras and D.O.P. skills. Possibly just hire somebody. Ditch the gopro.
Thank you for not doing monkey tricks that have nothing to do with trials and sticking to the sports core value of riding up and over technical terrain without putting your foot down… trees are the hardest! Just the initial sidehop and 180 would take a whole day for most 😂🎉
@@dansacco1964 Yeah it was kinda weird how Ryan had fallen on top of his bike with his legs between the centre of the top tube and dented it as if someone had taken a hammer to the bike. Ryan looked mystified on how it happened and wouldn't accept the idea that he caused it and kept looking at the railing thinking that is what caused the dent. But then you see the slow mo footage and you can clearly see that the top tube make no contact with the railing. Ryan didn't even grimace from the fall, so I can only assume he landed on his pelvic floor around the hard bone area on the frame and not on his groin area.
Are you an off camera swearer, as in swearing at yourself, i endend up getting a work warning recently because i had made a mistake (not the problem) it was just i was swearing at myself afterwards that got me the warning, i now more 'frack and shoot' to keep everyone else more comfortable
Hi, Al, you know I hate it when inanimate objects are given a gender, particularly the patronising ‘she’ for vehicles, but in this case I could cope with calling this bike the yella fella!
Hey Ali Clarkson! You may not have made that line but you still scored a victory over your anger! Being aware of your state of mind and being able to control it is also an achievement! Ride positive think positive! Ride ride ride!
That tree line is absolutely amazing, and I can't believe your persistence and skill.
My god, 200 attempts until it satisfied your standards? No wonder you’re so good! 😲
I really like when athletes are not giving up and you are one of them! Mad respect! Keep on riding dude...
I love how you just keep going until it looks so darn good that it actually looks easy. Every video I again get amazed by how good you actually are and how difficult these lines must be. Mad respect, keep it going.
music in the first session works really well with the sound of freehub, so soothing so chill, super nice

Inspired ought to be discussing with their manufacturer about getting a copy of your tensioner mass produced.
Effort = reward. Love your riding. Not only do you have the stones and skill to pull this stuff off but also your determination is something else 💪
Absolutely amazing video! Love watching you trials with a street trials bike!
I really like your commentary, it's interesting on the technical side and you come across as a down to earth guy.
The riding level is just a pleasure to watch! So smooth and controlled, tonnes of creative jibs as well. Actually amazing handling and dedication. Insert swear word gave me a chuckle.
ive never ever seen or heard of someone whos tried as hard as you not to look down on others like you but its soo impressive!!
So good to see you back on a Hex!
14:50 I can relate so much to what you said in that bit :D also prefer the puzzle solving aspect and finding cool lines instead of doing "tricks"
Crazy smooth.
You have your own unique style
Watching again in 24' awesome riding
Good fight! Loved the video, I have been lacking motivation to ride but a good street and woods combo ride video has me stocked!
Ali, please don't say that your line at 8:46 didn't look that good.

Sick video mate, hex looks gorgeous in that yellow too, big big fan of it 😎
awesome skillzz, great honesty , what a legend !
Incredible riding Ali! It’s amazing to see how much a talented and creative rider can do with what seem like basic blocks!
If I could just up to back on a tree like that I’d be happy enough!
I’ll also add that you have much more patience/persistence than I do! I’d have given up after 1/4 of the attempts at something
I get it Ali... When I'm riding flatland, anger can kick in when I'm trying to hold a line a bit longer or ride out of a combo. Well done for sharing and not giving in.

Ali is literally busting his balls for his craft. A round of applause for his dedication and tenacity! 👏👏👏
2:20 I feel like you can do a bar spin on the exit there to give this great rear/front tyre hop combo a little more spice. 🤩
I love when you ride on this spot - Ryan Lech vibes + great music Ali👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
I appreciate watching the struggle. Thanks.
Was so stoked to see you back at the rock. Once you heal up you gotta get the new bike up and over it.

Wow Ali! That bike is rad, loved the video. The mental fortitude to try a spot for hours is really impressive. Something i def beed to work on
you look in shape! crazy riding as usual ali.

Riding injured and still 100x better than I ever was. Would absolutely love to ride that bike just for 1 minute to feel how you have your set up
Haematoma in groin from bar end, yep I did that, still got a lump years later.
So funny, I got that exact injury messing around at the skatepark last week. Plus a nagging finger injury from a while back, too. Nice to commiserate I guess.
So nice to see you going bonkers on a yella hex :D
Really nice riding & video
great upload

Hopefully the bruised colour scheme doesnt inspire you to make yourself look like it haha! Excited to watch this one
Ali, knowing when to leave it for another day is wise. Come back fresh and energetic so you prevent injury due to fatigue.
Its beautiful!!

*Keeppushing and keep movign forward KING*
Hi Ali, you are amazing as usual. How much weight your bike?
“Let’s see what i can do”
Immediately does whopping 360 endo 👌🤙
Commiserations on the last line…
The other one was beastly enough! 😆

Ali what video has the tape on the pad trick? What kind of tape do you use? That could be a huge hack for me.
Pretty sure it’s duct tape at least that’s what I use. Good hack for sure I hate the pad rock.
How are you liking your Light Bicycle Rims so far now that you've put them through some trials?
Helow were i can buy bike like that
Nice lines but that injury sounds bad. 😦 Reminds me of the broken chain story.
You said "Right up my Street." I believe the proper term, at least here in the US, is "Right up my Alley." Much more appropriate I figure.
6:09 that's what she said...

be carefull there are a lots of mosquitos ://

Awesome ride Ali.👍
Shouldn't you best first goto a nurse and get your willy looked at.
😂
Is that a hematoma in your groin, or are you just happy to see me? Jokes aside, sorry to hear about the injury. Still a banger video as usual.
Благодарю

I wasn't sure if you were going to have a....Chris Akrigg moment :D but then you would only have to fix your bike
Take care of yourself man. Rumor has it Ryan Leech dented a top tube with his taint. Perhaps you need ask him for some groin strengthening tips.
Oh yeah I remember that video where Ryan Leech dented his top tube of his Norco frame attempting a rail-to-rail gap.

Are there words that are considered foul in Scotland? I thought "yoo fooken kau" is the most polite thing one can expect to hear.
