Look up her website. I didn't catch all the details other than a domestic violence organization called "its going to be okay" in Houston, Texas. But they showed more in the video.
I think her program should be promoted in the news report or at least in the info/ comments.
I am sure these 4 homes she runs could use donations and there are so many people that want to help, that don't know how or where to begin.
For people that can not donate, just to hear that her story has reached around the nation, ( im in New Jersey) would likely make this woman feel seen and appreciated. ❤

I had to become the protector in my home as a child living with 2 parents in the home ,my mother made excuses that she had to work and provide shelter and some food for us and our abusive father. She didn't have a mind to do what was right for us 5 children which the oldest child not his, she married him to escape her bad reputation in a different town. The oldest started getting sexually abused and my Grandmother came and took her after receiving a letter from my sister about what was happening my mother did nothing about it. Afterwards there were only his 4 children left ,2 boys and 2 girls which he continued his molestation with until we were old enough to fight back. These 2 were horrific parents, he was an Alcoholic and she had no sense or protective instinct .I left at 19 when I got pregnant, ended up returning when my child was a year old, and before my baby made 2 she had me shoot him under false accusations to protect herself when I was 20, yet she couldn't do anything to protect us all those years that he abused us, I just learned 36 years after the shooting that it was because she was seeing another man and he was going to hurt her, so she had her own daughter and his shoot him and lied to me about the reason he was angry with her.

Poor and/or extremely hopeless individuals rejected therapy . the type of people that were going to orthodontists and dermatologists frequently were the type that attended therapy or did not demonize it. It was a class issue-not race issue. The problem is receiving adequate therapy for needed time

Now this is a solid story. So tired of people using their past trauma to do evil. Look at this woman, after all that she has been through and for so long she "Not only survived, but thrived". Bless her soul and the lovely neighbor who intervened. This story had me tearing up and was also a reminder for me to start back therapy.

Thats how she feels. Given the circumstances, its completely understandable to NOT want kids from that. Abortion is NOT evil. Women MUST always have the ultimate say over their own body in all circumstances.
